A pesar de que el café era relativamente tranquilo, nos sentimos completamente pasados por alto e ignorados. Llegamos y estábamos sentados, solo para encontrar que todos a nuestro alrededor fueron atendidos rápidamente mientras estábamos sentados allí esperando. Tuvimos que esperar unos 20 minutos solo para tomar unas copas, y durante ese tiempo, la camarera nos pasó varias veces, pero nunca una vez tomó nuestro pedido. De hecho, la única vez que se acercó a nuestra mesa fue para tomar los menús para otra mesa. Lo que lo empeoró fue el comportamiento de un joven que trabajaba allí, que claramente estaba bastante ocupado, pero aún así logró servir a todas las demás mesas excepto a la nuestra. Era como si no existiéramos. A las personas que llegaron después de nosotros se les pidieron sus órdenes y sirvieron en poco tiempo, mientras seguíamos sentados, completamente ignorados. Nos fuimos sintiéndonos extremadamente frustrados y decepcionados por la clara falta de atención al cliente y la sensación de exclusión. Hay un problema serio con la forma en que se trata a los clientes aquí, y espero que la dirección tome nota de cómo crear un ambiente acogedor para todos los clientes. Hay un montón de cafeterías en la zona con mucho mejor servicio y respeto por sus huéspedes - por desgracia, Wake Cup no es uno de ellos.

Good thai food, very friendly staff. Minor criticism that the panang should have been dryer and the pad kaprow could do with upping the spice level !

We came out for a family lunch, excellent food, welcoming and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the experience and will be back.

Customers bunched up to suit serving staff. Bookings are all at one end presumably to suit serving staff. Too many babies and children not suitable for adult diners

We ate at The Royal George for my husbands birthday. There was 17 of us all together and we had a Sunday Roast. We were late in booking as we had been let down by another venue. Ruth and Leon the proprietors were fantastic in accommodating us at the last minute. The roast was splendid with a choice of 3 meats, plus a vegetarian option. Plenty of vegetables. Some of us had desserts too which were lovely, not needed but essential for a birthday. We were made very welcome and will certainly be going again.

Normally come here on a regular basis with my mum on but this occasion we had a terrible service and experience. For regular customers to be treated this way was awful. So we had a lady in front of us order a a med/reg cappuccino and the Ladie Katie behind the counter got this order wrong. She was given a Large, the Ladie said “oh that’s far too big”, Katie then swapped the drink over for a Med. We made an Order for a Medium Str/Cream frappe, we received a Small. When asked, Katie said she put a small down even though we said we asked for a Medium. When challenge this to (I’m guessing the guy was a manager) the Manager he was very Persistent that Katie was in the correct even though we said “We asked for a Medium” but cause we were changed for a small and received a small. Nothing else mattered. In there eyes, we were wrong. He asked if I was given the receipt after we placed the Order (Yes. He knew this as we shown him) then said “we should have checked the receipt before sitting down”. Putting the blame on us. May I add my mum is disabled so she’s not going to look down at the receipt after purchasing. She’s disabled!! After the manager putting up some type of confrontation, he was NOT there when Katie was making these mistakes. They starting speaking in the Kitchen about us (no customers were around so it was dead quiet I can here them speaking about us) then another colleague after that, the manager walking into the office doors whilst the colleague looked at us. It was very obvious. we were made to feel uncomfortable so I was so annoyed they made us feel this way. Not Professional at all. As a business owner myself I feel Katie needs training and the manager needs replacing with someone the knows how to deal with complaints because that is not how you deal with it. I will be taking this further.

First impressions were not good very cold no fire on a very cold day ordered our Sunday lunch the meal which took ages to arrive it was cold with very few vegetables and the plate was half full very little gravy I asked for more which they changed us for twice the tea was the cheapest tea bag you could buy tasteless took for ever to brew it still look like water the bill came to £74.00 for a very sub standard meal worst I have ever had the other downside was the shocking state of the car park I have a car worth over £80000 which I shouldn’t have parked there you need a tractor if you park around the back of the pub please be warned I don’t know where the 5 star reviews come from these people must be blind I don’t lie about reviews.

If you're walking in the country park then this is a very good place to stop for a coffee. The lady serving was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was freshly made and was good. Cakes, crisps and biscuits were also available and there is also a table where you can sit and take a rest.

Jess has exceptional customer service and the team are very efficient! Can not praise them enough! Recommend this store

I went to pick up goat meat pepper from this restaurant, the place was very dirty and on kept, the goat pepper meat appears like a goat stew instead of pepper goats, the owner wasn't friendly at all. I regretted my £12 I wasted, will not ordered anything from this restaurant again....

Recently taken over making a lot of effort with changes will be back to check on progress

The reception staff are hopeless, indifferent to requests and generally unhelpful. That is based on more than one visit. Conversely, our waitress was delightful, the food superb and the restaurant atmospheric. The wine carried the usual ludicrous English mark up but what we chose was good.

Cold family kebab shop with quick and easy service, really friendly and they gave us all a free drink. Close to a really nice park to eat at and the food was amazing.

Food good apart from the minimal amount or forgetting the cheese is ridiculous but you need to spend £8 or over to get delivery . Also canr believe they haven't heard of loaded fries or seen what Southampton comes up with an there kebabs omg well I have had all the kebabs an this is one of the better shame not the best I've ever had .

I lived in this area for 20 years this is the best restaurant in the 50miles radius. Good work keep it up . Great food
