This is no longer the pub it used to be. It’s fantastic. Go there!

Rude abrupt owner, accosted me as I followed the signs from the car park and told me off as I came through the wrong entrance. Not the welcome I'd expect.

Great setting overlooking the “World famous” (it’s been used for outdoor settings for many TV series from “my wife next door” to “midsummer murders”) Lee Common. Italian restaurant the way it use to be done. Enthusiastic staff. Large car park. Small area retains the old fashioned pub style drinking area.

This is a fantastic little place for great Italian food. Franco and Giovanni were excellent hosts. Try Franco's special pasta grazie mille (with yogurt and wild garlic). They have a lovely garden for sunny weather and cozy indoor areas for colder days. Worth a hike!

Pasta a bit overcooked for real Italians but the sauces were delicious and genuine. Loved the atmosphere and the people.

Last minute pop-in for a Thursday dinner with Mrs G, who is coeliac. We know the pub caters well for coeliacs and were very grateful to have all Gluten Free (gf) choices highlighted by the v helpful staff. Lots on offer but just had to plump for Fish & Chips. Crispy gf batter, proper fat chips, even well-cooked peas and all piping hot. V good, homemade tartar sauce on the side….it was all delicious and just what we needed. 3 bonuses - alcohol-free beers/cider, also got to try ‘frickles’ with spicy mayo (if you’re a pickle fan, you need these!) and saw lovely local friends and their dog. All in all a perfect early evening outing. Very clear it’s popular and we’ll be back for Le Petit Bistro in November. Well done all at The Full Moon, front and back of house. Great to have somewhere so welcome, reliable and good value locally.

The front of house staff were amazing and friendly, really helped with our needs. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. The food was not very good, not what it was mentioned to be as described on the menu. The food that was cooked properly tasted very good. Atmosphere was ok but the tables were too close together and the chairs and table we were sat at were very high like bar stools and not very good for children. One of us had to wait for a new meal while everyone else ate. The price was high for what we had to eat and no discount was offered or taken of the bill for the food that was sent back.
