Full Moon in Chiltern

This used to be a good takeaway. It was my go to establishment for a chinese takeaway and I used to recommend it to people. But it is not a good takeaway anymore, I'd go as far as saying it's the worse one around this area nowadays. Over the last year, it has gone downhill significantly. The food we ordered in our last takeaway was actually disgusting. It tasted like they had loaded the sweet and sour sauce with scotch bonnet chillis and the chilli beef was just ridiculously hot, It was all overcooked and extremely chewy, the rice was stuck together in one big lump, and there wasn't a single dish that I'd say was actually enjoyable... well maybe the seaweed but even that had a funny taste like it had been cooked in very old oil. Their prices have increased, but this certainly isn't reflected in the quality of the food or service. I won't be ordering from them again. I called them up to express my disappointment and found the lady on the phone extremely arrogant and rude, she said as I was a loyal customer she would offer £3 off my next order.... errr... no thanks, I'll go elsewhere and order food I can actually enjoy.

Tonight order 3 beef curries rancid had to throw away! 2 pancake rolls it looks like wrapped in pastry previously got pancke rolls that were rank , they used to be my favourite not anymore.wont be going there again spent over £50 most of it in the bin

Honestly not good at all the chilli beef was hard and tasteless chicken balls over cooked no sweet and sour sauce beef in chownein like rubber and soggy cold spring rolls money down the drain food in bin

Collected food 15 mins after ordering got home 5 mins later and it was cold - had to heat it all up - chicken in the chow mein tasted off so would not eat it Would not order from here again!

The Beef Chow Mein was good , Shrimp Fried Rice was really bad tasteless as if it was made in a hurry just added the shrimps in a plain rice , The Deep Fried Chilli Beef was Horrible it sweet and chilli completely misleading of what i ordered

A lovely first order of Special Fried Rice (with Shrimp, Chicken and Pork) with King Prawn with Mixed Vegetables delivered hot and on time the Full Moon called to say thry were out of desserts and give me a 1.5 bottle of Pepsi instead

Pork Chow Main without pork... it used to be that you could taste pieces of meat in the noodles. Today and in the previous two orders, there was only one or two pieces of pie in this dish. Maybe you need to rename this dish just "noodles ". I'm disappointed

I ordered a takeaway and to my dismay, I was very disappointed with the fried rice. The rice itself was so soggy and there was an insufficient amount of meat and shrimp in the box.

This is one of my favourite chinese takeaways. They are always quick and the food is always good. We had a mix up recently with collecting the wrong food but they were very quick to rectify and help us out. Would recommend!!

I have never felt so unwell after eating Chinese. I shared a portion of chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce and salt and chilli squid with my partner. Within an hour I was violently vomiting and had diarrhoea. I am very very rarely sick and would consider myself to have a strong stomach. The day after, I am still feeling unwell. I would never order from here again.

For the last two years our go to Chinese in the Chalfonts. Honest, tasty, delivered promptly and hot. Also, meat seems a better quality than some others we could name (but won't!)

Best Chinese food around. Mixed hot starters were a new thing we tried and were not disappointed.. really fantastic and plenty of it. Would highly recommend.

Thought i'd try this take away again as the ones in Chalfont st peter are either horrible or reheated food. I called at 5.10 and placed my order and picked it up at 5.20 as they said 15mins it would be ready. Got home and sat down at 5.30 and the curry dish was half full but i was so hungry i put it on my plate with the house rice. The food wasn't even hot, just warm to cold and really cold. This tells me that they too cook their food beforehand and reheat in a microwave. Yet again another Chinese take away reheating food and ripping customers off with the portion size. Definitely won't be using again or recommending to friend or family. PS...My food on your online pricing menu added up to £16 exactly yet when i went to pay in the shop it was £18.10 for three small dishes.

Ok so this is one of my “go to” Chinese take aways. Always tasty, fast and consistent. Except working hours on weekend could be earlier. 😁 Cheers guys.

Ok it brings me no happiness to write these kind of reviews. So we used to go here but dad got food poisoning many years ago. On the 15th July 2022 we tried again after many years. Food was really lovely, however next day 16july 2022 fiancé complained of tummy ache and minutes later she was throwing up in the toilet. When my family eats here someone seems to keep on getting food poisoning. Please make sure food is cooked properly.

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway! They take orders over the phone or in shop and the staff are so kind and friendly. Amazing quality food with generous portions so you can have leftovers the next day. Personally I would recommend the duck wraps and spring rolls but they have a wide variety of dishes and food is usually ready between 10 and 20 minutes so you don't have to wait too long. The prices are amazing for what you get and they offer many vegetarian options so 10/10 definitely would recommend 👍

This Chinese is the best in little chalfont. The staff are always so polite & helpful. Always accommodate what I ask for & when I ordered my latest delivery, I was late... this extremely lovely lady went more than above & beyond & delivered my food once she had closed the shop. I was blown away by her kindness & even tried to give her a little tip to say thankyou to which she refused to take. I will never use any Chinese again. The world still turns because of kind hearted people like her. Please everyone show her some respect when 0lacing your order's. Thanks again for 5* service

We come here at least once a week. Really reasonably priced, lots of pieces of meat in it and very tasty. Staff are friendly and service is super quick too.

Large menu, lots of choices and good food at very reasonable price. Generous with meat as well. Quick service and great prawn crackers included!

Placed a big order on Saturday 30th Jan, the food was of poor quality, the BBQ spare ribs was well over cooked, tough, grissly and saturated in fat, the chicken Chow main was very very oily and also the chicken balls tasted awful! What a massive let down Full moon. The food was rushed, well over cooked and tasteless. Will not be using Full Moon again when there are other Chinese takeaways in Amersham

Understated little take away by the station. Good quality, quick and efficient, reasonably priced and very nice staff.

I cannot comment on the food recently as I have not returned after two meals I threw away. So much oil I could have fried chips, two may burnt and soggy bits. Sorry but no thanks.

Food was of standard takeaway quality. Very quick (even on a Saturday night). Good sized portions and good value. Good service.

Seriously quick, seems pretty clean and the chicken was cooked really well. Didn't get me ill, which I was a bit scared about. Definitely one to trust and for a quick snack on the way home it definitely deserves five stars
