Mr Lau's was recommended by so many of our friends so had to try it. I Pre-booked our table on the website. We were allocated a table next to the bar, nice area. The only banquet on offer was the Early Bird one at £28.95 plus an extra £5 per person to add crispy duck. Chicken sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers was lovely. Then the next course was simply one item each - either prawn toast OR chicken skewers OR ribs. The banquets we have ordered elsewhere have a selection of dim sum starters. not just one. The prawn toast was home made and delicious. The main course was also very tasty - I asked to change the sweet and sour chicken for chicken and mushrooms and the waiter's response was "no". Luckily our waiter changed as we made our way through the courses, Im glad because he was so miserable. The bar only stocks bottled beer and while my husband enjoyed his Asahi it was very expensive at £6.50 per bottle!! The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. We have tried it now but wont go back.
Food is always 10/10, always friendly delivery staff. Best take away curry in Rochdale easily. Great value for money their set meal for 2 is outstanding
Very recently moved to the area so exploring to see what our local eateries are like.
Booked table online but it didn't complete which meant we turned up with no reservation.
The restaurant was fully booked but George kindly moved things around and got us a table in 30 mins.
We were happily blown away by just how wonderful the restaurant is.
Can't fault a thing.
Food was really of an excellent quality. I was happily surprised!
I had the soufle and the beef.
My husbands food was equally as delicious.
He also thoroughly enjoyed his marmalade cocktail.
The staff were excellent and we could see everyone was having as wonderful a time as us.
We can't wait to return.
Thanks for accommodating us George and team.
Many thanks & see you soon.

Not a great start, come in to a completely empty place. We get a seat next to the window, told we had to move to another table as the one we was sat at was for eating only. The place is empty with loads of tables.
We were staying in a hotel not too far away and chose this one courtesy of Google maps.
It's a good job we booked in advance as this place is very busy. When we sat down at 6.30pm on a Friday night it was at their last available table.
It's only a small place and the tables are quite close together. It was a bit loud for us foggies but with a friendly vibe, however I am not sure I would choose it for a romantic occasion.
Considering how busy it was together with a hectic take away trade the service was surprisingly quick.
We had an extra poppadom which hasn't happened for a long time, and the chutney tray was excellent.
We had our usual sheekh kebab which was very tasty, not overly warm but that's often the case.
Our waiter noticed that we had shared our starter, we always do as we struggle to eat our mains at the best of times.
He then said 'you are going a la carte' then? I was confused.
Chicken balti and chicken garlic chilli chicken with plain rice. I prefer pilau we don't do food colouring, plus chips and a garlic and coriander naan.
All was very good but the flavour of both of the curries had a slight hint of what seemed like a pickle or vinegar.
I enjoyed mine but the wife was less keen.
We didn't get to see a drinks list but Kingfisher suits me and the wife was pleased they had a merlot.
The bill came and it was a bit more expensive than expected but it was then I wondered if there was on offer on that we weren't aware of, if so I'm a bit miffed. Perhaps that would also explain it being so busy.
Parking was a bit of a pain but worth the effort.
Called in based on reviews and was blown away by the flavours and freshness of the perfectly cooked food.
Pannang curry and seafood dish on chefs specialties dishes.
Delicious and a comfortable atmosphere.
4 beers, 2 meals and sides with 2 rice £78. Well worth a visit if you’re in St Helens!
Just been in for the first time and ordered the peri peri chicken with fried and peppercorn sauce along with that I got the lamb chops too. Flavours are up there with the best unreal food presentation was as good as it gets the staff were very welcoming and really nice people. I'll definitely be coming here with my family next time we eat out as I need my mrs to try it it really is amazing food. See you soon 😊
Been to the 107 for the first time tonight, the food was lovely, but i have to say that the service was by far better than a lot of places I've been too, well done to all the staff,.LM
