Urbano 32 in Cheshire West and Chester

Visited Chester and so many choices of restaurants. We were impressed with Urbana’s menu and gave it a try. Have to say we had an excellent meal. We chose the king prawns with chorizo and spinach, this was so delicious. Followed by the pepperoni pizza. A very generous sized pizza, fresh and being baked in the wood fired oven just made it all the more tasty. Lovely staff, service was excellent so were the cocktails. Super restaurant

A Fantastic little resturant! Lovely staff, happy vibes, cool interior, and awesome food! We had the Parmesan fries and a margarita. I definitely would consider myself a connoisseur in the realms of margarita pizzas, i love them! And I’m not easily impressed… however this place really, really does a good one!!! Super awesome flavour, that is everything you want and more, the fries were very tasty too… A Great place, we will defo go again.

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch here today. We both agreed that the food was excellent and the 2 for 1 Pizza on a Thursday is great value. Nice atmosphere with a rustic feel. Special mention goes to the Stefania and the team for their excellent service and hospitality.

Excellent range on the menu, lovely food and excellent service from Olivia. Would happily recommend. Calabrian chicken wings were a particular highlight.

Really nice sourdough pizza with plenty of choice which husband and nephew enjoyed. I had the linguini special of King prawns and chorizo, which was good. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Service excellent. Interesting decor, in this lovely old building , nice relaxing atmosphere. I note they do a half price deal on Sundays so will return. Also realised this is not a chain but a local independent business, which is good to see.

We have visited Urbano on many occasions, either as a couple, family group and even a large group of my walkers. And have never had a problem when visited. We will continue to enjoy the Urbano 32 experience in the future. Thank you

I booked a table for 2 for a lunch and shopping date with my son in Chester. We arrived and asked if we could eat a little earlier and we’re greeted by a lovely lady who accommodated our request straight away ( even though we were 45 minutes earlier than booked.) The food and drinks were amazing and great value for money. The place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, great music and all the staff were so friendly . I would definitely recommend .

This was our second visit, this time with our dog. We were seated inside and the waiter brought water and treats for our dog. Our drinks and food arrived in good time and was even better than our previous visit. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, staff were all friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Me and my sister wanted somewhere different and quirky whilst we were on holiday and this place did not disappoint. Really friendly staff especiallyour waitress Steph, quick service but not rushing us out. The place itself was nicely decorated and was a lovely environment. The food was outstanding as were the cocktails. Will definitely revisit when next in Chester.

Absolutely superb food. Pizzas were delicious. Bruschetta and roasted herbie potatoes were lovely. Sat night, quite busy, we hadn't booked, but were seated quickly . Lovely staff!! Highly recommended!

Staff where super friendly, the lady serving us told us about the tip we could do but said we could take it off if pleased which made us feel like we had a lot more freedom, we tipped the 10% because she definitely deserved a tip, when we got the bill I wrote "good service and the Waiters where pretty" and when leaving she was smiling ear to ear, which shows they're greatful and happy people, the food was also amazing, we ordered 2 pizza's and step-mom got an alcoholic drink and a shot, we all enjoyed the food and she enjoyed the drinks she had, the pizza was cooked perfectly, even I, someone who doesn't like pizza, ate about 3-4 slices of pizza because it was so good and that's something considering my ASD makes me a rather fussy eater, so from that point of view from ASD, the food had no weird textures, it did have a starchy bottom which is what I have issues with on pizza but even the starch was good, it didn't stick to my hands like most starch does meaning it was made a lot better than how some other pizza's are made So my overall opinion would be that this place is amazing and I would definitely recommend for people who have a liking for pizza or those who want to try something new :)

I ordered the chilli prawn pizza and it was lush. Sangiovese wine was sublime. They forgot my tiramisu/ misunderstanding and they brought a Tiffin. I didn't want tiffin so it was taken of the bill. Very accommodating for a table of 11 chatty women. Excellent value on the 50% food January offer.

Lovely pizzas. Modern interior, nice vibe about it and liked that the music wasn't up loud so we could hear one another. Staff were friendly and busy but not the most attentive - no napkins on the table, it was difficult to flag someone down to ask for anything and it took so long to get the bill we just went up to the counter to pay as we had another event to go to. Despite that, I still had a lovely meal - pizzas are tasty with lovely fresh toppings. Had a nice spritz cocktail too. Would recommend and will go back when next in Chester.

Been to Urbano 32 twice in the past few months, had pizza (what’s the catch) and pasta (sure and turf) and both were amazing meals. Both meals were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Last time we came was about 8yrs ago and we enjoyed it so much. Came back this time with our little girl and again it was lovely. Food is great,staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is cosy. Definitely won’t be another 8yrs before we visit again!

My partner ordered a chicken Caesar salad with no croutons as he is on the keto diet. The salad arrived with no added chicken (which we had paid the extra cost for) and croutons still on. He did not say anything at the time as he is autistic and did not want any extra attention, but if he had asked for no croutons due to an allergy, this could have been very bad. The waiter would not have known this though, as they failed to ask if any of us had allergies prior to ordering! The chicken on my own Caesar salad was rather dry anyway so disappointing to be honest.

I went on New Years. Many shops were closed. It wasn't my first choice. But now it will be. Nice environment perfect service. I only got coffee and while it is a pizzeria it makes very good coffee.

After struggling to find a dog friendly place, we popped into Urbano 32 and were pleased they could accommodate us. They didn’t realise there were 7 of us but they made sure we had room and gave us excellent service, even when busy. We really appreciated this after we all had a few hours of driving to get here and needed somewhere to catch up and grab some lunch. Thank you for the lovely service and making a family feel welcome in Chester!

Our third time eating here, very good pizzas and lovely decor inside. Only disappointment is that they no longer do the carbonara pizza, which was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten!

We tried to go to 2 different Italian restaurants for lunch and both were closed so ended up here and what a great find. Lovely atmosphere at lunch time. Had the nduja hot pizza and the burrata bolognese - both were outstanding!

Good food but a bit bland, it did lack a few extras with would have made it extra special. .We did get good service from the young staff . The cost for a pitza and carbonara dish plus two cokes came to 37.00 including tips.

Visited Chester Christmas market and stayed locally at the mill hotel (separate review posted) . Having worked in Chester frequently I tried all my usual places but found they were all fully booked , eventually managed to book a free table at Urbano 32. I had low expectations but as soon as we arrived and were greeted by friendly staff was pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly and had drinks ordered and supplied in minutes. Ordered Karen and chorizo starter and the focaccia bread and pesto. I can categorically say the starters were amazing , the focaccia bread was fresh, light and just a hint of rosemary , the pesto was clearly freshly home made , sweet and fragrant with the Parmesan just coming through, really superb. The chorizo had a light balance of spice and sweetness and the prawn had bite yet were succulent , i could have eaten it twice over! We both had pizzas as our main, wife had ‘the new porker’ and I went with ‘some like it hot’ Both pizzas were perfectly cooked fluffy inside and slightly crispy edge crusts on the outside, not too thick but thin as they should be, bases were cooked correctly (often they are too soft) the meats were excellent , the tomato base had a fraction sweetness with a fresh edge to it, the mozzarella was clearly fresh and had a beautiful mild flavour. Couldn’t quite manage deserts after such great food, but we left very happy and considering the cost it was excellent value for money too! Well done management and staff .

Loved this place. Went with two kids 9/12. They loved it too. Feels modern and trendy, with amazing service. The pizzas are huge and taste amazing! Chips are brilliant and they have specials. Definitely recommend.

Great pizzas, sadly we picked a time with a staff changeover and lots of people arriving at once. We had to chase up our drinks and the staff were overstretched so not quite the ambiance we were hoping for. We would go back but definitely try to aim for a quieter time.

Popped in here for a light lunch, not really knowing anything about the place and it seems we struck it lucky. Delicious food. Garlic bread was light, crisp and tasty. The pizza we had (salami and nduja) was also excellent. Really nice fresh dough cooked to perfection. I loved the Tiramisu too, it was an Ameretto variation which I was not sure would beat the original, but it was lovely, smooth and creamy. We were served by a dark haired girl who was so pleasant to us and really made us feel welcome. A very positive experience overall. I can happily recommend this venue to others.

We had a lovely lunch here. Food and service were very good, but what stood out for me was the helpfulness of the staff…especially with our baby grandson. They were so happy & friendly, it made our visit all the more pleasurable.

We had a fabulous meal at Urbano 32, the five of us enjoyed fantastic starters of chicken wings, olives and garlic bread followed by pizzas and pasta. All wonderful. Also enjoyed a superb bottle of Primitivo. Both the staff and the service were excellent. I can highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Gone downhill over the last few years. Quality of the dough is on par with chains like Pizza Express. Nothing special. Also, they used olives with stones in on my pizza which I thought was exceptionally weird for pizza and definitely caught me off guard. Theres much better independent pizza chains in Chester. Stile or Augusto for instance.

Food great, but our table by the door wasnt ideal on a busy saturday night, with constant blasts of cold air and noisy where people were collecting takeaways or waiting for a table.

Lovely staff, delicious food, we had a lovely time eating lunch at Urbana 32 yesterday. Lots of Christmas lights and a festive menu with cocktails to boot. One of my pals wasn’t keen on one of the cocktails and the staff so helpfully replaced it without charge. Thankyou everyone!

We went on a Thursday when it is 2 for 1 on pizzas which is excellent value. The pizzas are lovely. Great service, very nice place, very well run. Special mention to the young man who finds you a table even when it is really busy - he is so efficient and helpful. Recommend booking on line in advance which works really well and ensures you get in.

Went for dinner during Halloween weekend. Amazing food as always, with fast service and lovely staff.

Olivia greeted us and although we hadn’t booked she found us a lovey window table despite the restaurant being extremely busy. Great service lovely food. Olivia was very patient and enhanced our experience.

Lovely place and great for gluten free assuming you want pasta. We go here a lot but the one reason I've not given 5 stars is the limited gluten free choice. There's only so many times you can choose between 3 pasta dishes 😅 other than that, great food, lovely atmosphere, good portions and great location.

Urbano32 is a cool place with a good vibe. We were there on Thurs evening when they had a 2 for 1 on pizzas offer! The place was busy (pizza offer may have something to do with it!) and as well as good food - would have liked a little more topping on the pizzas - our server Olivia, and other staff at times, were efficient, friendly and professional. If in Chester again would go back and can recommend!

We went on a quiet night early evening . food was a bit expensive and there was not much of an atmosphere but would be good for business lunch.

Great value for a 2 for 1 pizza Thursday. Service was okay but must admit could be better having 1 server instead of 3. Get the pizzas well done as if you don't they look anemic. The flavours were good but had better. Only issue for me was my husband had a ham and mushroom, not on the menu but they had ham and rocket I think. As it was two for one we paid for my pizza and a margarita was added then charged for my husbands toppings as extras. The other pizzas had toppings so not sure why they charged us extra. All round okay but only on 2 for 1 as not worth over 15 ponds for a pizza with little toppings and underbaked. Definitely get well done.

I went to Urbano32 however when I paid for my bill and asked for a receipt I checked it and realised I had been charged for charity as well as service charge without any communication with the staff regarding this. Just be careful when finding out about these hidden charges. I won’t be returning.

We ate there a few days ago with my friend. We ordered the surf and turf pasta, the pizza named king and a bruschetta. The food was really delicious and waiter/waitress were lovely.

Fantastic sour dough pizza with amazing flavours. Starters are great also, especially the chicken wings ad gnocchi. We come here a lot and the service is always quick friendly and efficient. There are new pizzas being added all the time we had the smokey manzo this time around, delicious 😋
