Good place to eat lovely meal nice atmosphere staff are helpful and friendly Good price for meals.

Best Sunday dinner I’ve had in years, I’ve tried every place in Workington, Whitehaven and cockermouth for a roast and nowhere beats it. Thankyou!

Ordered surf and turf,had to inform staff had missed off the surf side of my order,wife got steak pie ,pie came in small dish with 4 x chips floating on the top,food was good but presentation has a lot to be disered ,had better ,but also had worse,ship Dovenby, still find unbeatable

Visited for the first time tonite, food was fantastic value had the 2 meals for £20 deal expected small potion's but was really surprised I couldn't eat all mine (steak pie) I would highly recommend a visit staff where very professional and helpful, we definitely will be going back

First time at the brewery house and did not disappoint, the food was fabulous, kieran the landlord introduced himself and was very friendly and chatty, all the staff were great, highly recommend and will definitely return.

Food was fantastic. Both had chicken and mushroom pie with chips and veg. Pie was second to none. Chips as always were lovely and veg cooked to perfection.

Had another great meal at the brewery house had the steak pie and lasagna both were lovely also their new beer beartowwn is ready nice and great service too 👍

We recently had our Sunday lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was beautifully served, nice and hot, and reasonably priced considering the cost of living these days. We would highly recommend The Brewery House to anybody looking for a lovely home cooked food, and we will be going back very soon.

Fantastic meal and the staff were awesome give it a try if you haven't already.

Very helpful and alternative staff took a booking of 9 adults and 2 children age 3 and 14weeks at short notice. Food was freshly cooked and served all together for everyone in the group to start.

The food and staff were superb. What makes this such a fabulous place is the extras they do. Staff even put a ramp down for me so I could take my frame to the loo. As I’m on a long road to recovery this gesture has helped me so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I actually feel human. The simple things of going for meal we all take for granted. A local Business that will definitely have my ongoing support. That’s why I have given 5 stars. Thank you so much I actually cannot recommend this place enough.

Nice pub and good food, recently refurbished to a good standard & good selection of beer. The car park is a little tight so be careful.

Warm welcome and good beer at a good price

Called in for a drink with a few mates, we were all impressed by how nice the refurbishment has turned out. A good selection of draught lagers but could possibly benefit from a nice real ale. The staff very friendly and had a nice atmosphere. They are starting to do meals shortly and if the food is as good as the rest of the pub it will be a great place to go for a meal in a nice place. We all go out regularly and it was a place we will definitely go back to and I will go for a meal once the kitchen is open

We went here for a meal as they had advertised that they catered for coeliacs. A wonderful choice of gluten free meals to choose from , but I chose crispy coated chicken with sweet and sour sauce , chips and prawn crackers .....beautiful meal, plentiful plates too and ver6 friendly service

Food was ok but won't be visiting again for a while

Called in on a quiet lunchtime, seated and drink order taken. Food came and was ok ... roast beef dinner nice, kids goujons ok, Cajun chicken burger ok, cumb sausage onion rings rock hard , mushrooms over cooked (deep fried). Went to bar for bill waitress came from a side door with a smell of cigarette smoke as she opened the door . I did tell her bout the slight problems and said ok sorry bout that . Been before any was much better service / food

Been to the BreweryHouse 3 or 4 times in the past and have always had a great meal and beer. Today we both ordered the homemade steak and ale pie . Unfortunately my wife’s pie was rather gelatinous and she could eat it. The staff were informed and a replacement was offered although their offer wasn’t taken up. My pie was fine as where the home made chips. Due the previous great meals we have had in the past, including mine today I think this was a one off but the management are now aware of a possible problem that may sneak in (hate it when people complain but don’t tell the people who need to know).Ample portions !Pleasant, attentive and helpful staff.Ps you need to sort the gents toilet door lolCheckout their web site for menus and offers.

I popped in with my wife I had the chicken curry it was tasty with fresh big chunks of chicken plenty of spices had chips and rice the rice was fluffy this is a perfect curry for everyone no matter how mild or hot you like it, the portion amount was spot on. My wife had the lasagne it was not juice sauce like some it was a large chunk of lasagne plenty of mince and sauce not dry at all this came with chips and garlic bread this is definitely a great value for money meal. The staff were polite helpful dressed presentable didn't wait long at all the food is freshly cooked highly recommend if you're in the area

This is the best Sunday lunch Ever. All home cooked fresh tasty proper cook veg not hard fantastic roasts and best ever gravy. Yorkshire pud small and crispy not to big so it doesn't over take your plate great mash. Very helpful and friendly staff good value for money would highly recommend this pub It should have a 10 Star rating would be there everyday if lived hear well done 😆👍👍👍👏👌🥧☕🍴🍽️🍺🍰

Food was excellent, plentiful, and great value. I had the lamb - it was tender and delicious, served on a bed of roast veg, with a lovely gravy and plenty of potatoes.I had left a rather confused voicemail to book our table, but I soon got a friendly call back from Paul. It was typical of the same lovely service during our meal.

We went for a meal and the front of house was full so had to eat in the back room. It just didn't have the same atmosphere, looked a bit cheap and ran down. Food was alright. I had the scampi which was nice but my plate was manly salad

Consistently good food served by friendly, helpful staff. Steak pie was great. Wife had a turkey dinner. Good sized portions. A really friendly,old fashioned type of pub. Highly recommended and we will return soon.

Went to brewery house last night for a meal with my partner, waiters kept walking past us for about 20 minutes wouldnt even make eye contact when passing as you could clearly see our menus were closed ready to order. After ordering we waited an hour for food. My portion was great couldnt complain. My other half on the other hand never complains but to be honest i would of when you seen the difference. He mentioned to the lady serving us about it as soon as she put the plate down and she said she would have a word with the chef. She never came back to our table or apologised or anything. No body even checked to see if everything was ok. Definetly wont be back.

I had the cheese pie which was really nice and a change from usual vegetarian fare. Hubby had fish and chips which he enjoyed. The sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous Friendly staff Didn't wait too long We will be back
