Went here last nite for first time with my friend.Think the waiter's name was Fazian and a lovely friendly guy he was. He was very attentive to our table and service and food was great .only negative is there was no dessert on menu and the lights in the booths were just a little too bright but the overall experience was good.They don't serve alcohol which wasn't a problem and they only take cash so go to ATM before you go.would definitely return.

Food is nice but very small portions and overpriced I'd say. Almost as though they count the number of chips they give you. Also overcharged the bill which not too happy about.

Excellent food and service by Faizan

Visited first time in Tribez with my husband, and had a butterfly chicken Steak and tender lion steak. Both Steaks were juicy and scrumptious. Enjoyed fully with Faizan's recommended strawberry mocktail. Faizan hosted us with full of manners and helped us to choose the food according to our taste. Highly recommended. Must try once and then you will come back again and again

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning! We booked a table specifically for the 50% off steak deal, but from the moment we arrived, things started going downhill. As we walked in, we requested to be seated in one of the available booths, only to be told they were reserved—yet throughout our 1.5-hour visit, no one occupied them. Instead, we were crammed into a tight corner next to other guests. When it came time to order, we were informed that only the steak itself was discounted, and sides had to be purchased separately—even though the menu clearly listed the price as including both a side and sauce. This felt misleading, as the price reduction should have been applied to the entire dish. We ordered two ribeye steaks and one 16oz T-bone, all with creamy peppercorn sauce and steak chips. We asked for our steaks medium-well. Then came another surprise—we were told it was cash only. In this day and age, that’s beyond inconvenient and should have been made clear when booking. When the food arrived, one of the ribeyes was almost completely raw—pink and bleeding. It had to be sent back to be re-cooked, leaving one of us waiting while everyone else ate. Thankfully, this was corrected, but the delay was frustrating. Throughout our meal, not a single staff member checked in to see if everything was okay. At the end, I called the waiter over and showed him my T-bone steak, which was practically raw. I had eaten only the parts that were properly cooked. A photo proves just how undercooked it was. Initially, I was told it would be replaced, but then the waiter returned to say they couldn’t replace it after all. The inconsistency was frustrating, and in the end, I had to take my steak home to cook it myself! When I questioned this, I was told that because the steak was already 50% off, they couldn’t discount it further. My response? A discount shouldn’t mean 50% less effort, 50% less quality, or lower standards. The worst part? The manager never came over to address the issue. Instead, they hid in the background while the poor waiter had to take all the heat. Extremely unprofessional! By the time we left, those so-called reserved booths were still empty, making it clear that we had been misled from the start. Overall, a terrible experience. The poor service, misleading pricing, lack of professionalism, and badly cooked food mean we will not be returning. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a restaurant and the food was HOT. Lovely food and service !

Steaks were perfect, service was great, but they don’t take cards. So, enjoy the meal, then enjoy the walk to the nearest ATM.

Food was on point as usually, Faizan never misses on customer service.

Super recommend to anyone who is looking for perfectly cooked meat and perfectly seasoned my favourite are the lamb chops and tenderloin steak

Visited Tribez Bolton on New year's eve as a group of 21 people and the owner was very accommodating and gave us a good discount. The grills were amazing, I particularly really enjoyed the mashed potatos as it was unique, never had anything quite like it, the tribez signature salad my friend ordered which I tired a lit was absolutely delicious 😋 will definitely order one for myself the next time I am there. We were served by Faizan and Ahad, absolutely amazing gentlemen, they were very nice, quick and efficient. Thank you very much for the good service. I am looking forward to my next visit.🤤

Fantastic food, real taste of South Africa in the middle of Bolton!!! Server, Faizam, is an absolute Champion! He knows his menu, knew suitable alternatives for young people and was fantastic with the kids. Definitely worth the trip!

Faizan , He provided us with excellent service, he was very kind and attentive, everything was spectacular, an incredibly pleasant atmosphere. I went with my husband and my baby and we were really delighted, we hope to back soon.

The food was absolutely delicious, though it did take a bit longer than expected - especially as we were the only ones there. That said, it was worth the wait. The surprise of the night? Being told it’s cash only. A little heads-up beforehand would have been nice! The decor and vibe fit the place perfectly, though, so all in all, a good experience. Just remember to bring cash! Did NOT accept card payment on our visit. Staff verbally confirmed the food here is halal.

Been coming here for the last 5 years and has never disappointed! Food always comes out hot and is always full of flavour mashaallah. Highly recommend if on the fence definitely pop in, you won't be disappointed.

How is this place not packed out?? Top ribeye steak. Cooked exactly how I asked. Tribez special Pizza was 10/10. Crispy base and doesn't skimp on toppings. Very accommodating for kids especially when little ones fussy eaters. And their kids chicken was a good portion and tasty Waiter good lad and attentive.

Food was outstanding! Sunset burger and wings are so good. Me and my son tried the rochdale site last week and we loved it. The bolton site is smaller, parking is a pain to find but you cannot fault the food. And our server Faizan was brilliant. Friendly, approachable and a credit to the company.

Some items were on offer on the menu but when the bill came they had charged us full price so we had to complain about the extra charges. My friends had gone when they had offers on for the Steak and they ripped them off and charged them full price for everything even tho they advertised about offers on some items.

We went to tribez on Saturday evening for tea and it was really lovely! Very good prices especially for the high quality of the food. Pizzas were amazing, probably the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time and very filling, burgers were delicious as well. We were served by the manager Sheena who was lovely, very warm and welcoming. My mother in law sent her burger back as it was slightly pink inside (beef burger so was meant to be cooked that way but my mother in law likes her burgers well done) and Sheena was very understanding and got a new burger sent out quickly for us. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for the lovely food🙂

I visited yesterday with my husband in the evening…. I’d like to say atrocious communication and organising Tables booked didn’t get tables on time hours of wait. (Tribez did have 50% of on steaks only which was not advertised correctly! Because sides were not included yet menus one side in the price) marketing went wrong Food! Steaks cooking was not ideal we asked for medium got overcooked twice. Chips came cold mash was forgotten Cocktails came half way through my food Service! Now the lady on the floor bless her she was running and serving all the tables on her own and still managing to smile and asking if everything was ok a man in the back kept shouting your too slow your too slow guessing he was owner he was very rude to his staff even in the kitchen could hear him, disgraceful. Lady at the counter With a baby in her hand going in the kitchen with the baby I wanted to report the mother I assume. the child is at risk in a environment with dangerous things around How can a mother risk her child how! I have reported this now to the relevant authorities for child risk! 19/12/24 First and last time That place is a risk and hazard I am surprised no one has ever reported Someone should investigate this.

We visited on Sunday evening and enjoyed a lovely atmosphere with excellent service from the staff. The starters were delicious—we had pitta with hummus and cheesy jalapeño balls. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as we requested, and the portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money. The Madagascar chicken was well-cooked, perfectly seasoned, and marinated beautifully.

The steak was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, juicy, and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The peppercorn sauce was silky smooth, rich, and flavorful, perfectly complementing the steak. The service was top-notch as well. Sheena, who served us, was warm, attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and created the perfect setting for a great meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a quality steak and excellent service. Ordered food after two years of boycott, still as rude as they were a few years ago. As always their card machine was broken( the usual excuse of desis), food was collected by my blind husband, and he was asked to find a cash machine. When I went back with the cash the person at the till Mr Zulfi was too busy on a personal call, and didn't even bother to smile and ask what we were doing there. After ten minutes of wait one of the waiters (lovely lad) asked us if we needed help and gave us our food. I am not surprised why it is always empty. So no, not for us. Yes food was nice but every time I ordered food, I was shocked by their customer service. It truly disgusts me how some people from our community still lack basic respect and mannerism

I ordered a very well done steak. As that's the only way I can eat it. It came the steak was very rare pink straight down middle. The black pepper sauce was extremely watery and tasted crap. The only good thing was onion rings which I don't like and the chip's. So I complained and they only paying back for steak. So I paid 35 pound and only got refunded 13.50. so basically I paid 22 quid to go in bin. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I went here and they clobbed me with a cinder block and amputated my leg telling me that they needed fresh meat for their “Madagascar chicken” 1.4/10 might not come back

Cash only Decent place to dine with friends or family. Presentation of dishes are very smart. We tried a variety of dishes, chicken salad, burgers, pizza and the starters. Beautiful pizza, chicken salad was very nice and spicey. The burgers were slightly raw on the inside. And the hummous with the pitta had a good zing to it. The steak was Ok. They had their own spices on the steak to give unique flavour but would have preferred to have it basted with butter and oregano.

Pros: Booked a table for a larger party which was ready for us on arrival. Food was really good, we ordered to the platter to get a taste of various menu items and a pizza. The chops were very good, quite spicy but tender...many places they are either burnt, tough or both. Generous portion sizes and food freshly cooked and served as the items become ready. Toilet facilities. Great value for money imo. They provided tap water...always a plus. And it's HMC certified. Cons: not a very big place so may have to wait on busier days, I don't know if there was an upstairs. A little bit noisy, but prob to be expected from a popular place. Didn't appear to have easy access to parking, so had to find off road places. They only take cash payments. The service in some parts wasn't good. Had to keep reminding them to bring various basic items which, for some reason, the waiters kept forgetting. Summary: I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to others esp if you're looking for quality food with a different flavour to the usual Asian restaurants and fast food joints available in Bolton.

The beef steak is incredible. High grade meat. Cooked to perfection. Excellent flavours.

Very underrated restaurant. Loved the food and pricing was very good. My favourite was the chicken pizza definitely 10/10. The place is nice and clean with welcoming/friendly staff.

I came at a busy time yesterday, I was catered by 2 young lads… came with family of 14 and all which were happy and satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. less staff but everything was on point!! Been to Blackburn and Rochdale but this one was by far my favourite!!!

Food was amazing, however the service was terrible. The staff do not smile at all. When you walk in it's all grumpy faces like as if they are thinking, "who's this burden that's walked in?" When they serve the food, they just throw the food onto the table, one plate was given for two people to share and the cutlery was placed onto the the plate in a pile. Half the meal was given, then the sause came 5 minutes later with the drinks when the lamb chops were cold. Alos, they don't accept card payments, there's no sign saying that neither do the staff tell you before you order so if your stuck after you've ate then you have a fee issues. Biggest issue is that they still sell coke and fanta despite 99% of takeaways boycotting them.

Although the food and service were great, I have decided to comment and leave a low rating because of the fact that the owner is still selling Coke and other boycotted drinks. I was disgusted! People all around the world, from different backgrounds and faiths are making efforts to boycott coke etc and this owner still has not made an effort to replace these with alternative drinks. I will not be coming back here...make a change! How laid back and ignorant can you be?

We had the salad, chops, pizza, burger and the chicken as well. Everything was good. The pizza was amazing and the chops were delicious too. Its a bit expensive but fine. Have good service. And quality of food is good.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant, I had low expectations. The location and venue itself doesn’t wow you. The steak however, for the price was a delight! Shocked at how good it was and everything was gobbled up! Give it a try!!!

The waitress was inexperienced, the meat in my burger was almost alive (didn't ask how I would like it) I had to ask for a few things a couple times, at the end they gave me the bill and said "cash only", they should tell me that before eating, and on top of that the toilet was a mess.

The food is excellent and quick service

My cousins and I decided to give TRIBEZ BOLTON a try and it was an excellent choice! We ordered firstly the BITES PLATTER which was a great variety and starter to begin with in preparation for the mains. In the main we ordered two RIBEYE STEAKS with sides and a BUTTERFLY CHICKEN with sides. The caramel onions were perfect and juicy, the Chips were proper Chippy chips, humus was good along with mushroom sauce. To top it off my cousin couldn't resist ordering a 12" AFRICAN SUPREME PIZZA, the base was well cooked and it had plenty of cheese and topping and tasted great 👍🏼 The prices were reasonable considering how good the food was presented and prepared. The atmosphere was chilled, the restaurant was super clean and they also have an onsite toilet. Child seats are available and the staff were very polite and courteous, all in all this is a great place to eat with friends and family so make sure to give it a try 😉👍🏼

Fist time visiting this place in Rochdale, we travelled from Sheffield and i would like to say we was not disappointed. We was greeted from the very beginning with a warm welcome from Asfah, she not only delivered great knowledge of the menu but also with recommendations. Very satisfied and worth the trip. A*

I won't lie; l've been very excited to try this place as I am South African and read online that they use South African braai methods and spices! For starters, we had Cheesy Jalapeños, which were coated in a thick African-spiced batter. Hubby had the "Durban Double," which was two flame-grilled chicken patties, cheese, and Turkey rasher. I had the Madagascar 1/2 chicken, which was marinated in lemon and herb. I must say this tasted exactly like it came off a braai in South Africa! >= They really did bring the flavours from home to the UK! Absolutely loved every bite at Tribez; they have flame-grilled their meat to perfection 10/10

I can only comment on the Gourmet burger. It was a cheap frozen patty and not made with 100% meat. Its not gourmet but priced as such. Tasted bad

I ordered the t-bone steak , chips and peppercorn sauce , it was so so good. The steak was massive and so succulent! Clean plate all round Will definitely try again and recommend to my friends. Well done 👏

Food was quite average, however what was not acceptable was their service. Firstly not enough napkins and cutlery were given which is the absolute basics and then when it came to paying there were no signs of cash only payments and the person at the till said they had no card machines. It would have been nice to know upon walking in to the establishment !

Pricy but got some tasty food. Had the bushmen burger🍔 , their T bone steak 🥩 and the special pizza 🍕 . Burger 🍔 was huge and grilled to perfection, tasty and it came with fries which were fresh. T bone steak 🥩 was also grilled really well and had that flame taste to it. Pizza 🍕 was tasty and the toppings were of high quality!

Visited this place yesterday evening with the family. We ordered the platter of lamb chops, chicken wings and whole chicken. Firstly the lamb chops were made really well which is rare. Flavoursome and not dry and overcooked. The wings and chicken were also well cooked and tasty. The portions were super generous. I didn't try any steak so I can't comment on that. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

We decided to try this steak joint out in Bolton ... they managed to fit us in last min to book a table. Staff were very good especially our waiter Munaf. The food was absolutely delicious ...its been a while since I have ate a steak which has been cooked to perfection!

Don't come here bad service! Came to tribez bolton for a BIRTHDAY meal. Food was okay. I explained how to bring out the surprise cake and when in detail. We had finished the food so I indicated for the cake to be brought out. I thought it were going to be brought out in a special manner in wooden special tray, as agreed but no. It were brought out all covered in white bags. Here you go your cake. The surprise was immediately ruined as who presents a cake in covered white bag how I brought it from the shop. Ruined the surprised because the member of staff couldn't be bothered! I were absolutely disgusted as that was really disrespectful. Underminning customers special moment.

Top Quality well cooked delivered. Only thing that needs checking is the jalapeño cheese balls… no jalapeños in taste or sight lol.
