Beautifully cooked, quality food… and lots of it. Absolutely delicious. Recommend the Salmon with pesto sauce. Staff lovely too!

Fabulous Sunday roast dinner. We opted for a 2 course lunch starting with the ribs and chilli crispy beef, both were full of flavour and with the rib meat tender and juicy. We then had our carvery Sunday Roast and I have to say it one one of the best I have ever had. The beef and gammon were cooked to perfection, my grandson who is almost 1 could eat the beef it was that tender! Served with a large variety of vegetables, I just opted for the red cabbage, creamy leeks & cauliflower cheese, all full of flavour and accompanied with a good Yorkshire pudding and nice roast potatoes ( mash also available). I would recommend booking if you can but we did do a walk inn. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely look forward to dinning here again when in the area, it’s about 10 min drive from ChesterZoo too!

Our first visit. Good food, attentive staff, pleasant venue. We enjoyed our meal and would return.

My Granddaughter held a fundraiser event in the backroom. Anne and her staff decorated the chairs and tables beautiful and the bar service was exceptional throughout the busy night. Anne kept coming through to make sure everything was okay.All in all absolutely amazing service once again from Anne and her lovely staff Thankyou so much it was a fantastic night.

We have stayed at The Cottage in the Wood near Keswick for over a dozen years, enjoying their journey from simple restaurant-with-rooms to a Michelin Starred triumph of The Lakes. Now under Beth & Jack’s new leadership we are excited to experience their new chapter. Our two nights stay and two different dinners were excellent food, exceptionally prepared and present with care, in a friendly relaxing atmosphere. This feels like home but with food that stretches our imagination. We will be back next year.

At last a very good Indian takeaway in Blackpool. The food is fresh and very tasty, I have ordered twice now and I’m not disappointed. A little more expensive but worth is for a decent curry 👍🏻
