Sangam Heald Green in Stockport

Excellent food, service and ambience. Menu varied and extensive. Although traditional 'English' style curry favourites are available, there is a wide selection of dishes on the menu. I am going to have to go regularly. On my last visit I had curried lamb shank - delightful.

Always love the Sangam. The food is banging and the staff are always so lovely. We were served by Shahed who was very friendly and went out of his way to make conversation. He even gave us a lollipop at the end. Would definitely recommend the Sangam for your Saturday tea.

I went for the buffet lunch on a Sunday. The place was fairly empty, but there was a large group in for an event, which may have been why the service didn't seem overly attentive. The food was ok, but nothing special. I would certainly consider going again though.

We visited today from Liverpool, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer setting and the food was absolutely phenomenal 😍😍 each course was beautiful and the staff couldn’t have done anymore for us. Our waiter shahed was amazing and helped reccomend new dishes for us based off what we would normally order! Leading to us trying something new and delicious! Thanks for the great experience and we can’t wait to come back soon 🫶🏼

This restaurant has all ways been my late grandads favourite place the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and good value for money first time for me doing their Sunday buffet which has a good selection of dishes

They hosted us, a large party, for an 18th, and everyone had an amazing night, everybody was very friendly and accommodating. Shahed was our server and sorted everything out for us. Food was so tasty, biryani was the best i’ve had in a while! naan was soft and fresh.

Really great curry. We stopped in here en-route to the airport, and we're so glad we did. Great selection of dishes, awesome curries and attentive service. No complaints whatsoever. I think this may be part of our airport journey tradition now!

We had a fab Xmas day at Sangams. Usual quality food and service levels handled it being super busy as well. Tarek and team do a great job and we left fit to burst.

We went as a family of 7 for christmas dinner. Well we were well looked after the waiters were very well prepared for the day and the food was excellent. Would not hesitate to book again.

Best curry around Manchester airport, well worth a visit. The food is amazing and the service is on point. Loved the lamb and the chicken.

We went on a Saturday evening. It was not very busy, I don't know why,, because it was superb. There were 4 of us and we had 4 different starters and 4 different curries. ALL the food was fresh and delicious. It was a high standard. The service was spot on and friendly, helpful staff. There was a 10% service charge on the bill which we didn't mind as we usually tip 10% anyway. Definitely recommend and will go again.

Very nice chicken tikka, chicken jalfrezi, naan and roti. Also, the barman makes an excellent Cosmopolitan. Pleasant staff as well.

The Sunday buffet is a great addition to Sangam 3. The choices are great and replenished very frequently. I like it as you can try many dishes all at the same time. On Sunday the lamb bhuna was especially nice.

Visited sangam in heald green tonight , first time since it opened , some early reviews had put us off , but decided to book a table for nine for a family birthday. Not the easiest of tables to sort with a mixture of kids and adults , service was fab , very understanding and the food was superb , one of the tastiest jalfrezi I have ever eaten. Everybody enjoyed the food and no complaints at all everything from tandoori to chicken nuggets ! Brought out a complementary dessert for the birthday boy and as we paid (as didn’t want parents to ) mother decided to have a dessert after we had cleared the bill . They gave this complementary on top and refused to take the money . Thank you for a great meal and making a family occasion one to remember .

The food is delicious. Everything is fresh. Tarek - waiter- was helpful, nice and professional. The atmosphere is friendly, everyone is smiling. The restaurant looks nice and clean. Service charge is extra added to the bill.

I organise a curry night a few times a year to raise much needed funds for my preschool. I have to say that quality food, attentive staff and restaurant ambience add up to a great night out and wonderful fundraiser.

I was looking for a quiet restaurant for Sunday lunch, and I was pleased to find this one. I went for the Sunday lunch buffet - a range of traditional Indian favourites - and had Vegetable Samosa, Onion Bhajee, Chicken Korma, Saag Aloo and Pulao Rice. Everything was tasty and it was an enjoyable meal. The decor was smart, the staff were friendly and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. I would certainly come here again for Sunday lunch.

This is our favourite restaurant to visit as a family. Food is delicious but what really makes this place special is the staff, so attentive and nothing is too much trouble.

Large enough venue to accommodate birthday parties, large groups and couples. Shame to add a 10% service charge automatically to the bill .... other than that, there's a huge amount of choice, service is superb and the food absolutely delicious.

Complicated reason for choosing this restaurant. I was flying in to MIA and my partner was picking me up. However, her daughter and BF were also arriving at the airport three hours later. So we decided to go for a meal locally to pass the time. I got the train to Heald Green to avoid two trips to the airport, and Sangam looked a good option. Very glad we chose to eat here. Food and service was excellent. Menu has the right blend of 'Indian standards' and alternative dishes to tempt the more adventurous. The pilau rice and Peshwari nan were especially good. Very friendly and competent service. would definitely like to go back.

The best spot in the area for an Indian. We have been going as a family for around 20 years. The food is exceptional and the waiter Tarek was great would highly recommend!

Fantastic food and atmosphere, staff were amazing it was my Son-in-laws birthday made it very special for him, nothing was to much trouble, always smiling and happy. Best Indian meal I have ever had, would definately recommend.

The interior of the restaurant is really nice and was greeted with a smile by the staff. Very friendly and we were given few minutes to select a drink and then once our drinks had came, we were asked promptly for our food orders. The food itself is very nice, we shared a starter which was lovely and both had different main meals. The tikka masala is nice but does need more flavour in my opinion (I always think a more red and rich masala is super tasty but appreciate every chef does it differently). My partners main meal which has paneer is was lovely. They add 10% service charge onto the bill which many places do these days which I don’t mind at all (as long as they give good service). All in all a great place to enjoy some nice food and great service, we will definitely return in the future.

Came to Sangam3 for Father’s Day for the fab buffet. Super service from Hussain. All very tasty but our favs included bean salad, kebabs, lamb rogan josh. Espresso martinis and Pina Colada cocktails were delicious. Thanks again Sangam - we’ll be back soon. Best wishes Greg Debbie Jack & Sid xx

Food and staff were polite, the restaurant has a nice setting and is decorated nicely. I had the Venison main with a peshwari naan, and a mixture of starters. Overall very good!

I went today after a long time. The staff were friendly and the restaurant is very beautifully decorated. Food was fresh but a bit on the pricey side. I wasn't happy how a £7 service charge was slap on the bill. The waiter took it off for me. But it was an ok experience for a one off

Meal was pretty expensive but just about nice enough to not feel overcharged, however I hate when the service charge is already added on ,pure pressure tactic that goes against what a tip is. Mild mannered people would just pay no matter the service quality. I left 5% instead of the 10 on the bill. I tip more than 10% alot but the choice should be purely down to the customer. Will not return.
