First time ordering from here. Not a balti or rogan josh in sight, just fantastic, flavourful vegan food. So many choices & it was all delicious. I’ll definitely order from here again.

Went to bhaji pala last night with my wife.. I’m not a vegan, and didn’t know what to expect, well… the food was a taste sensation.. everything we had was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and very knowledgeable about all the ingredients, definitely recommend, and will definitely be going back..loved it..x

Every time we come and dine here, we're in for a real treat. All the dishes are freshly prepared with love and attention to presentation, flavour and texture. We are regular customers who have yet to try everything on the menu, though we do have our favourites such as the Masala Dosa, Lobia Curry, Tandoori Pineapple and Onion Bhajees, and of course, mango lassi! The service is excellent, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive and are careful with certain food allergies and intolerances, making sure that we have confidence that nothing served will be a risk for its diners. We highly recommend this vegan restaurant with its huge choice of delicious dishes. We're sure that once you try it, you'll be back time and again, too!

Unbelievable food. My new favourite!

I want to start by saying that the food at Bhaji Pala was absolutely amazing at least, what we actually received from our order. However, the service was chaotic and disorganised. We visited on February 14th, so we expected the restaurant to be busy, but given that most diners had likely pre-booked, it felt like they were severely underprepared. It took over an 45 minutes just for our order to be taken. Then another 90 minutes for only part of it to arrive. The biggest disappointment was that our mains were never served. After waiting for two hours, we were first told they were being prepared, only to later find out they had been delivered to another table. I completely understand that service might not be perfect on such a busy night, but if they knew they were understaffed, they should have either limited online orders or reduced the number of dine-in reservations to ensure a better experience for guests. Despite the frustration of driving an hour only to leave without eating our mains, I would still consider visiting again because the food itself was excellent. If the service improves, would keep visiting, else permanently black-list it from our places to eat. I’ll be happy to update my review accordingly.

Lovely afternoon lunch buffet. So nice for vegan food to just be "the norm" and it was delicious and reasonably priced.

Service is very poor, we were there for 2 hours and only received half of our order. They didn’t even get the sizzler that we had ordered for 2 hours and when asked we were given a silly excuse. If it is busy then it is better to serve the people inside the restaurant properly than running around delivery services and making customers who have travelled from far unhappy.

The food was not only late but also not delivered in full. I had ordered 2 masala dosas and 2 veg hakka noodles. I got half a masala dosa and one hakka noodles that looked someone had opened the package.

One of the best vegan or vegetarian restaurants I've ever been to. Food tasted delicious and the value for money was excellent.

Updating my review to be more specific, this restaurant is excellent. Each dish is so full of flavour and the staff are wonderful. We really love the aubergine and peanut curry, favourite dish is the potato and chickpea starter 👌

I have eaten food from here plenty of times and is my favourite indian restaurant out of everywhere and I've been to alot. All the dishes are unique to the establishment and the style of cooking is outstanding and unlike anything else I have tried in 35 years of eating Indian food. Only obstacle on me ordering more often is the cost, the portions are ok and I believe due to the skill fo the chef are well worth the money, but I find myself wanting more after I have ran out of food, because it is so delicious abd when eating for the family its out of budget except on a treat. Honestly the food is enlightening to how vegans can still enjoy delicious culinary experience. I am not vegan.

The food is very authentic, healthy and delicious. As Vegans, we loved the choice on the menu and just how tasty it all was. I had a Thali and my partner had the Jackfruit Curry with Cumin rice. We will be back for more delicious food as I'm aware they do a buffet and change the Thali's up to represent different Indian regions.

Highly recommended! Not only is the food flavourful, filling and delicious, the service is fantastic too! They cater for no onion, no garlic and are also able to do dishes mild for those who don’t like too much spice. The drinks are good and the desserts are even better. This has become our regular place to visit!

Highly recommended - the vegan food range, fresh quality, service and price has been consistent - for the past few years. Come here if you want good quality food and time without breaking the bank. Mint Cardamom Lassi is my favourite drink! Not too heavy and refreshing.

I have been to Bhaji Pala several times and it’s an excellent place, really nice vegan food and as an Indian myself I can say it taste really good. I have recently had their new Thali’s and they are really nice and fun to eat. Will definitely recommend it..

First time trying this restaurant. Really enjoyed it ! Didn't think anywhere could match up to my favourite Indian restaurant in South Manchester, Sanskruti but this is now a v close second that I will visit again and recommend to my vegetarian/vegan friends.

Bhaji Pala are in my neighbourhood so we’ve been here many times. The food is always delicious and as its all vegan different from what you usually get at an indian restaurant. We love the beetroot and jackfruit curries and the tofu makhani. Service also very friendly

For anyone doubting you can get good Indian plant based food, this is the place you need to eat! Just had another fabulous meal here & cant recommend it highly enough. Delicious food, lovely staff & a cool vibe. Totally recommend 👌🏼

the food is generally very good but the Makhani tasted like heinz tomato soup so I wouldn't order that again. Everything else is really nice. Gorgeous samosas. The delivery left a bit to be desired tonight, and I paid a delivery tip in advance. The driver needs a refresher course on Google Maps. He got the food to us but I think he drove past the street a couple of times.

Absolutely lovely service and great food. The Mirchi Balwaan is a new favourite. As a Celiac, there are plenty of gluten free options on the menu.

Every dish was outstanding. Chaat platter great combination of textures and flavours. Excellent Masala Dosa and some unusual and exceptional curries. Gourd dumplings in spicy, creamy sauce perfect and mixed veg curry fresh, varied veg with bite. Friendly service and great value.

Truly amazing place to try Indian vegan dishes, wonderful staff happy to help and kind.

The atmosphere is very tidy and nice. Also well-designed. I particularly liked the cuttleries and plates. The food is great, and every menu is vegan which was special. Staffs were extremely kind. I cannot complain about anything. The only advice is that perhaps you may want to find a table far away from the airconditioner. The food easily get cold due to the wind. I guess it is personal prefererence though. Toilet was clean as well! They have high chair for babies.

Staff are always very attentive and friendly, menu has tons to choose from and everything I’ve tried is absolutely divine!

This is seriously the best Indian food I’ve ever had, not because it’s Vegan, just because it’s incredibly tasty. Ps. I’m not Vegan so not biased, just really do yourself a favour and come visit, you will leave very happy!

My review is about Bengali thaali. We went as a group of friends for their much advertised Thaali meals. We chose Bengali. It’s a shame that not much was Bengali there!!! The pickle was store bought. There were hardly any recognisable Bengali dishes, there were two sabjis that were not specific to Bengal. No puchkas, no rossogolla, no mishti dahi. Very disappointing and expensive too! 30£ for a very non Bengali, tasteless meal!

Having heard great reviews about a vegan Indian restaurant, I finally went there with my family. My family tried the jackfruit biryani and panini puri, and I had the dosa buffet, which was £15.99 per person and included 3 mains, 3 starters, dosa, naan, and tomato rice—absolute value for money. I was mind-blown by the simplicity and flavor of the dishes here. 5/5

We had a very uneven experience - the food was all good, although a few things were unavailable, but the service and ambiance weren’t great. First we were sat under an irritating flickering light, which we were told “would stop soon” but didn’t. Our waiter was extremely casual to the point being almost rude, we waited ages for drinks despite the restaurant being very quiet, and probably most irritating was someone who worked there going in and out of the door countless times in the space of 10 minutes or so, meaning some of our group had to put their coats on. Having eaten here several times previously and always recommended it to everyone, unfortunately based on this experience I probably won’t do so again

The food is delicious, like; everything is at least good - if not great. menu is fantastic and offers enough variation without being too broad. The staff are very friendly but not overbearing. This has become our favourite place to go.

Worst service I've ever had. I never ever review anywhere but it was so slow I have to warn others. In the space of 2 hours we only had our starters and the place was half full.

I am a hardcore carnivores, and this is the only veg/vegan restaurant I eat at, now if I am saying this, imagine the amount of delicious the food might be!

I recently visited this restaurant and had the uthauppam, broccoli manchurian, and thali. The food was absolutely delicious and felt more like home-cooked meals, with an authentic taste. Despite being a very small place, it’s one of the best spots to try if you're looking for Indian vegan cuisine. Most of the menu is made from soya, and I highly recommend it. Prices were very reasonable too...!!

This was clearly a badly made order. didn't provide spicy chutney at all, had terribly extra salt on the puffed rice filling. It was extremely sweet as well. clearly won't be ordering from here again. Shame that this Vegan restaurant is cutting corners.

I absolutely love this place. Being Indian, I am very critical of Indian restaurants I eat at. I went last week with friends who had not been before. I am not vegetarian but never leave this restaurant without a tummy full (but not heavy) of food and a heart full of love and admiration. Never disappoints. Unusual dishes cooked to perfection. Was here on Sunday and had the Sunday Buffet. All the food was not your typical banglideshi/Indian food you normally get in restaurants around here. They had way more authentic food. You can order Dosa (a think rice pancake with filling) as well as helping yourself to the various different starters ,curry’s and dips. I had masala dosa x2 with coconut chutney and the Samber which was delicious. There was also fresh poppodoms and chutneys and veg spring rolls and and unusual dish which was made with tofu which I didn’t think I would like but it was tasty. They had a chick pea curry and a creamy veg curry on also. I’ve travelled in India and this is the most authentic Indian food I’ve tasted in this country

I think this might be my favourite Indian restaurant in the world (and I eat a lot of Indian food). Food is amazing, the fact that it's plant based is a bonus. Go with a group, go on your own before a morning flight from Manchester airport, whatever just go!

The concept of a vegan Indian restaurant is quite novel, but the quality and taste are exceptional . I highly recommend their Sunday buffet, which includes hot dosas served right at your table .. A must try for all peeps out there to to go out and experience the ever so versatile Indian cuisine

We had a delicious meal at this lovely little restaurant. The food was amazing - done of the best curries we've ever had, perfectly cooked naan and it was all clearly freshly made. Such a high standard and the service was also fantastic - really friendly and efficient staff.

Fantastic food and service. Ate here while staying at airport for a flight the following day. We even ordered two Dosa's for breakfast the following day, they were cold obvs but still delicious. Definitely eat here again when in the area.
