Food & Service is top class. Absolute fantastic place and I will be returning again.

The food is exceptional, my particular favourite is the Yorker Kheema starter, followed by the staff curry for main. Most Indian restaurants leave my stomach a bit off the following day.. not this place. The following day, I can't even tell I've had a curry. Staff are also lovely and friendly.

Our first visit yesterday evening was a delight. Superb food (loved the tasting menu!), charming hosts (one of whom turned out to be an accomplished mezzo-soprano, and proved it!) and a friendly atmosphere. This will be a regular venue!

Me and my colleague visited to discuss partnership opportunities between Stockport College & Bombay to Mumbai and was kindly gifted with the butter chicken to end the meeting. The food was absolutely gorgeous and hearing about how all their food is fresh and the excellent social values behind the business made is even tastier! I will definitely be returning with family in the future

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Lovely, contemporary decor and great to see an authentically Indian menu, showcasing contemporary Mumbai street food and other dishes. Good portions, great flavours. Staff very helpful and attentive; will help you choose if unsure of a specific dish. Free street parking just outside. Highly recommend a visit, we will be back!

Visiting. Been to restaurant before. Takeaway this time, specifically because it is Indian food. Very little to recommend it. Naive, simplistic and not as exciting as the menu description.

For the second year running, B2M has just been included in the Good Food Guide’s “100 Best Local Restaurants” – one of only 13 in the northwest. The Guide judges places not just on the quality of the food but also the warmth of the hospitality. And, as long term customers here , we know it scores highly on both counts. It seemed like a good reason to go and have dinner and offer congratulations in person. Bhel puri is always good here. Crisp puffed rice, bits of potato and tomato, chilli, a freshness from coriander and a citrus zing from tamarind chutney. Chicken simmba brought strips of chicken coated in a very clingy spicy sauce – more glaze than actual sauce. We’d not ordered this before but would do again. At this point, there was a bit of a surprise. We’d gone on one of the Sunday evening where, along with the normal menu, they offer a tasting menu of different Indian regional foods – Goa in this case. Donya brought us a couple of samples to try – a lovely minced lamb patty made to the recipe from chef’s nana. And a Goan take on a fish cake – mackerel, potato, spices and a semolina coating which crisps as it fries. Just lovely. For main courses, there were a couple of old favourites. Sindhi Seyal lamb is from Sandeep’s family heritage in Sindh province (in Pakistan since 1947). It’s like a traditional bhuna but, with the addition of yoghurt, has a nice little background sourness that sets it apart. Bharli Vangi is from the Mumbai area and is one of the tastiest things on the whole menu. Baby aubergines are long cooked in peanut based sauce – so there’s the earthy sweetness of the nuts which have been blitzed down to form a smooth, quite creamy sauce but one which still has well rounded spicing. We shared rice and a roti.

Had a lovely meal with the family here. It's a little bit different from your standard Indian restaurant and all the better for it. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking. Service was also excellent.

We booked late for the Sindi tasting menu, so glad they had a spare table. The meal was excellent, starting with a superb soup with various delicious courses finishing with a tasty kulfi. Highly recommended either for one of the occasional tasting evenings or the usual a la carte menu

We have been coming here with family and friends for year and it only gets better. The owners and staff are lovely and the food faultless. The 7 course tasting menus that they do from time to time are not to be missed.

Wow, the food was fantastic. Unique twist for an Indian restaurant with the owner singing Carmen. Food was well presented, and the kids loved the food, too. By far, my favourite Indian across Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Handforth, Cheadle towns.

Visited recently for the second time and yet again was not disappointed. The food was delicious! Well presented and arrived fairly quickly after ordering. A good varied menu with some interesting, authentic dishes on it. The place is very clean and the ambience is relaxed and pleasant with good background music too. I like the modern decor but in keeping with the theme of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Price wise, I’d say on a par with a lot of restaurants these days, but worth it. The Masala Dosa is very tasty! Well worth a visit

When I visited India I had the best meal, rajma chawal and I've never been able to find it in the south of England where I live since. I travelled up to Manchester 238 miles as I unbelievably spotted it on their menu. It was just as good as being in India, I also had to pick up some food for my daughter to take back and it was all equally as good. We had the Pakoda thela, Dal tadka, Dal makhani, 2 rajma masala's, garlic and plain naan and because I had another 238 miles to go home I was kindly given something to eat in the car Vada pav - I had to unfortunately stop eating it so I could let my daughter taste how good it was. I got home in 4hrs, 9:30pm and the food was still warm (so there is no excuse saying you live too far away). It was more than 10/10 I'm so grateful that I have put one in the freezer as I don't fancy doing that drive every weekend. The owners are so lovely and can't wait to visit for a sit down meal soon. Just an amazing food experience. Have visited before when in the area visiting family and happened to be able to eat here on valentines night and have the 7 course special on the night. Each dish took dining to a new level with my tastebuds in overdrive with the wonderful flavours coming through. So enjoyable Service as before absolutely spot on and the staff have always made time to have a chat when I’ve been in. Absolutely a must visit restaurant

The restaurant was recommended to me and i really enjoyed it, a really nice welcome ordered soft drinks and popadoms, the menu is so different to the usual Indian restaurant we ordered mixed bhaji's to share and the chicken sizzler and butter chicken with roti, we had desserts and our plates were clean on all courses,we sat chatting and didnt relalise it was 10.30 but they didnt push us or hint for us to leave, we will be back soon, thank you for a wonderful evening guys and gals

It was very busy with it being Christmas but that didn’t stop the service being excellent and the food fantastic. Even tho we go a lot they recommended a dish that I wouldn’t have & never have chosen but it is now going to be a firm favourite of mine.
