Best food in suburbs of Manchester, a true hidden gem , will be back soon

One can get the real tastes of India cuisines. Our go to place for street food and starters. Food is so authentic that there seems no other place like this near by. Ambience is cozy and may get busy sometimes but totally worth it. Staff is cool. Reserving a table is recommended.

Excellent food, great range on menu and staff happy to adapt menu to taste or special need e.g allergy.

Despite our last-minute booking, Delhi Dream delivered big time! The Seekh Kebab and Tandoori Broccoli starters were delicious, and the main course curries and breads were absolutely spot on. Kudos to Delhi Dream for not letting our lateness affect the top-notch food quality!

We had a lovely time for my daughter’s 26th birthday last night, very friendly staff and a superb chef. We enjoyed a wide range of dishes washed down by several beers. Very good value too. Thank you for looking after us so well and bringing a complimentary desert while singing Happy Birthday to her! We will certainly return.

Very tasty food plz come and try it

Our first time (dining in) since pre COVID, and we were told the place has changed hands, but the Railway Curry was still absolutely outstanding. Together with a Chicken Kadai, the Popadoms basket and a nan bread (which we added as an afterthought once our food was served but was still brought very promptly to enjoy with the meals), we had an all-around very enjoyable dine-in spread. We could taste lots of spices, the food was very fresh – especially the lamb - and none of it was unnecessarily “over-chillied”. I also enjoyed the draught Cobra at under £5 a pint.

Excellent authentic British style Indian food. The lamb byriani Hyderabad is top notch, especially when accompanied by a madras sauce & a nann bread.

I visited here during my business trip to Manchester, i tried this restaurant, it offers indian cuisine & have lots of vegetarian options as well, all the items which i tried were delicious, i highly recommend this place if someone is looking for Indian Cuisine

Always love eating here. The staff are so lovely and always looking after our every need. The food was absolutely gorgeous and consistently tasty. Would definitely recommend. We had their meat platter, gobi manchurian and butter chicken and naan this time and can't praise the chefs enough. Spices and taste were on point so really really enjoyed our meal out. They never disappoint. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for good authentic indian food. Thank you. We will definitely see you again soon 😊

What a let down! Out of town, staying in local hotel and Only came on the back of a glowing google score. Empty restaurant on a Friday night??? Lamb chops were black charred beyond adding flavour. Tasted bitter. The onion Bhaji’s were 2/3s flour and were like pakora batter, not really mostly onion!! Not nice, these were left. We ordered 2 chicken tikka curries, the chicken was ok, but both curries were bland, just tasting of salty base gravy. Disappointing. Service was excellent. People are lovely but this is not great British Indian curry. Lots of locals seemed pleased but I am used to much better.

Been a few times now. Everything here is consistently brilliant. The people are warm but a restaurant is about the food and the food here is blinkin' awesome. Not just your standard curry house fare but genuine home style dishes. One minor suggestion would be the addition of some alcohol free beers and wines to the menu. We'll be back for sure.

The food quality is good and the service is fast and nice.

I can honestly say that it's the best Indian food I've ever had... and I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants over the past 25+ years. The starter alone was like a work of art, and had the flavours to match. The prices are very reasonable as we I'm really glad I stumbled across this gem, and will always call in if I'm in the area.

My wife and I were visiting from Leeds for the evening and fancied a curry. After reading reviews on Google we decided to give Delhi Dreams a go. We were not disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff and very well priced delicious food. I had the Railway Lamb curry, it was fantastic. My wife stuck to her usual chicken Korma and said it was the best korma she has ever had. The only downside to the restaurant is that they don't deliver to Leeds!

First time here to celebrate my Husbands birthday and came because of the excellent review, which this restaurant really deserves. The friendly personal service is a bonus however it is the quality and presentation of the dishes that makes this place special. The taste of the authentic spice’s, which the delightful owner reveals come direct from India permeate each dish. It is a great experience eating here and hats off to the Chefs and the whole team. Was in the area and really fancied Indian food… this is the one we picked. So glad we did as this is one of the nicest Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible, amazing flavour and not flooded with greasy oil like many others I’ve been to. Staff service very good, great prices and again some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the UK.

An early dinner for my parents anniversary meal, was really tasty and also tried some dishes I've never seen before, I can definitely recommend the pineapple tikka! And what my nephew referred to as hulk chicken (avocado chicken tikka)

Insanely good food, great service and a really good price! Lots of unique flavours and interesting things on the menu as well as classics, even the pilau rice was better than what you’d expect from your usual curry house!

Authentic Indian taste for a moderate price

Had a lovely delivery meal. But was shocked at the price of the popperdom basket. As it was broken bits of popperdom and there was proberly only 3 popperdoms and it cost £3.95 that works out at more than a £1.00 for a popperdom which i class as a starter and no onions

Just been to the restaurant and dined in, customer service was excellent. Great recommendations had the ragda Pattice, lamb kebabs and chicken madras and a paneer madras - which they made off menu. Taste was yummy very authentic and I’m Indian! Not too oily like most places either. Loved it

While working away and being based In Cheadle, I found this place by chance and what a joy it was. Possibly the most delicious Madras I’ve ever had, not much heat but plenty of flavour in the base. The naan was fantastic, charred a little just how I like it! The waitress was attentive and full of personality, she was exceptionally professional and interpersonal. The restaurant was well dressed, very clean and well lit. I enjoyed my experience. Would certainly revisit and recommend!

Amazing Indian restaurant with delicious food. Took Kashmiri Lamb starter and Chicken Bhuna (hot) with Bullet naan- perfectly spiced, individual ingredients can be differentiated.

Delhi dream is a literal dream of an Indian restaurant! Especially for someone with an allergy or intolerance (such as myself with a gluten intolerance).The descriptions of every dish are clear and distinct and marked for the main allergies; gluten, nuts, mustard, celery as well as vegetarian and vegan options and more dishes marked as available to be made veggie with substitutions. I cannot express enough at how impressed I was with the readability and clarity of the menu and am beyond disappointed that this is the first and only menu I've ever had at this clarity. On top of the loveliness of the menu, and the staff, the food itself is incredible and VERY reasonably priced for what you receive. Every dish was flavourful and distinct. We had two different lamb curries and the meat melted in the mouth but each dish tasted completely different from the other. We also had a meat platter which I cannot recommend enough. The lamb shish was spicy with avocado chicken that perfectly cute through the spice and very flavourful chicken meatballs in a tangy sauce and tandoori chicken wings that were very juicy and chargrilled perfectly. Every dish was flavourful without being overpowering and I can't wait dine here again (or order in as a takeaway)

Dropped in en route to the airport and had a super meal. This restaurant is a brilliant find, I'm only sorry I don't live locally. The food is gently spiced without being harsh and the service was perfect.

The reviews are great for a very good reason. Some of the best food I've had in a long time, and I am no stranger to an Indian meal let me tell you. Service was superb, food so fresh and tasty, everything from popadoms to naan, Biryani with Lamb was so succulent, not chewy like some cheapo places, personal fave was the railway sauce. Absolutely fantastic. Prices all reasonable too. Considering ordering again tonight. Well done Delhi Dream.
