EFSI's Indian Takeaway in Wyre

We have tried them all, and this is definately the best in Blackpool. Very pricey, but worth it now and again. Cant praise the food and service enough though. Meherin comes a close 2nd and much cheaper.

Usually great here but the chicken wasn’t up to the standard this time & ended up chewy/strange texture. Not all the pieces were like this but there was a few which unfortunately put me off the meal. However, the Poppadoms & chutney tray both excellent as usual, just a shame about the pathia.

food not as good as it is usually.....missing the sauce with the lamb tikka tried ringing restaurant but no reply....my wife was not happy at all...quite disappointed this time for the price paid we frequently use your service spend a substantial amount at least 3 times month, have to take our orders somewhere else real shame

Great curry. Leaving 1* review for delivery as driver had no change on him so instead of £35.xx it cost me £40. Maybe driver was independent and chose to con me

After moving from Manchester to Fleetwood this is my 2nd attempt at an Indian meal here …and meh. Firstly it’s very expensive for what it is, this price is ludicrous for the quality, and for this price you would get a lush meal elsewhere FACT . Butter chicken curry is over £11 and is full of ghee and garlic, tastes like a bad korma that’s been loaded with ghee. Nothing about the burgers is gourmet! Biryani is essentially tasteless and the bhuna is too salty with hardly any veg. Never again :(

Lovely food, saag paneer and butter chicken special are wonderful! The last few times we’ve ordered with them they haven’t updated the accepted order, cooking, out for delivery etc steps so it doesn’t look like the order has been accepted or started. This always stresses me out as I think the food won’t come. It’s starting to make me not want to order with them.

Food arrived hot and portion sizes were good. The lamb chops however looked massive but when we got them out they were mainly bone and the meat that was on them was extremely fatty. I’ve had many lamb chops from an Indian and these were the worst. Fatty to chewy and not much meat

At last a very good Indian takeaway in Blackpool. The food is fresh and very tasty, I have ordered twice now and I’m not disappointed. A little more expensive but worth is for a decent curry 👍🏻

It tastes good, was a bit cold. Luke warm my husband said. It leaked really bad in the bag. one of the containers was crushed by another. so, a bit of a mess. It was our first time eating here so I am sure we will give them another chance. For the price we just expected a bit more care.

fourth time we have ordered from here and again it never failed to impress us. I had burger this time and it was delicious. the only thing that lets this down on every order is the salad could be fresher but that is the only thing that was wrong.

This is the only Indian we order from now. It’s always pretty good, I do always order the same thing! But tried the masala chips and they were really nice especially with mango chutney dip. We also use the app/ loyalty card so we got £20.07 off our last order which is an absolute steal. love the extra garlic naan, staff are friendly and when we have asked for extras they have always been accommodating to our requests.

Not sure what went wrong, ordered from the best reviewed place in the area but the meat in both dishes was tough. I would guess slightly over cooked, but didn't make a very enjoyable meal. Possibly we was just unlucky, but won't order again.

This is my favourite takeaway - they never disappoint! Whether I fancy a curry or a kebab, there's nowhere I'd rather get them from than here.

Lovely food I really enjoyed but very pricey

Forgot to review this hidden gem. Ordered on Sunday. Got the Thai Akbori, rice, extra garlic naan, chutney tray & poppadoms. Honestly the best curry I’ve ever had, proper chicken strips not the frozen chunks/weird type other places use. It is slightly pricey but you get what you pay for & the portions aren’t small. So you’re paying a little bit extra but are getting a 10/10 curry with bigger portions all around. Even the chutney tray was superb and better than any other place I’ve tried. 5 star.

Delicious spicy curries, loads of chicken tikka in the jalfreizi & pathia & bags of flavour. Jalfreizi Included peppers soaked with flavour too - would highly recommend. Delivered to Cleveleys right on time.

[OVER CHARGED & LIED TO] The menu states that chips are £3.10,boiled rice £3.10,chilli rice £3.90,chicken korma £7.80 & curry sauce £3.90 x2chips at £3.10 = £7.20 boiled rice £3.10 chilli rice £3.90 chicken korma £7.80 curry sauce £3.90 - Total £25.90 I was then lied to by being told that because I am collecting my order in person I get 15% off of my order. 15% of £25.90 = £3.88. £25.90 - £3.88 = £22.02. My bill came to £26.27! This turns out 37p more expensive than the original price then before I was lied to, being told that I was getting 15% off if the order by collecting the order myself. If you take into account the (phantom) 15% discount then I've still been over charged by £4.55... It's not only that tho, as standard of British Indian restaurants go, this is way bellow par - by far! The naga sauce was dreadful, more mild than a madras. As for the korma, it was bog standard entry level, no effort love or care. No attention to detail, nor care for the customer - just bashing curries out... There's no passion behind the food! If I hadn't of ran out of base sauce I would have made better curries at home myself! - With this being said, i can therefore never recommend this takeaway as a reputable establishment. Never mind advise people to spend their hard earned money to then be overcharged!

Tonight's meal was not as good as it normally is. Rice tasted of grease and spoiled the whole meal. The chapati arrived in a plastic bag which meant it sweated. First time trying the chips and would not have them again. Arrived luke warm. Not sure what went wrong tonight but not usually the standard we get from here. Yet the foil container was hot but the curry wasn't.

Food was meant to be ready for collection at 18:00 by 18:50 was still not ready.

Would usually give a 5 star but I paid £3.80 for a bottle of Fanta, the delivery driver turns up, says they didn’t have Fanta and gave me coke which I don’t drink as I don’t like it. So basically wasted £3.80.

I've just had our first order delivered from here, which we got based on the incredible reviews. I understand its the end of the night but the chicken pathia we received is more oil than sauce. Everything was cold, the naan rock hard and the poppadoms soft and bendy. Its a real shame for how expensive it is. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more even, if what you received wasn't a tray of oil and was warm. I don't like giving bad reviews because I know first hand how much a business relies on their reputation; but honestly I'm not going to be able to eat this. £25ish thrown away.

Staying in a caravan park about 10 minutes away, we tried this place for a takeaway. Phoned order through and got a text to tell me when food was ready for collection. The food itself was absolutely superb, really tasty and fresh. Great starter and my main had a really nice kick. Good portions, all the family enjoyed. Will defo order from here when we are back in the area again.

Absolutely love everything I've tried from EFSI,s. Madras is my go to food and can't fault it. They provide great food for the fussy kids that don't like spicy food. Win win for my family. Rapid delivery, lovely staff.

EFSI is the go to indian in the area, always a lovely meal especially the EFSI jalfrezi balti is devine and the extra garlicky naan is excellent, my only issue would be the price i roughly spend £40 on 2 people order but it is good 🤌🏻

First time ordering from EFSI's, ordered for collection takeaway. Food was prepared without delay allowing easy collection with loads of parking. Food was fresh, hot, full of flavour. Only slight negative was the garlic cheese naan, more garlic & cheese is definitely needed and it would of been a perfect 5* all around.

The food was great and the service was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back.
