I have known this family a long time! I even worked for them being 16 years old! When he had his chippy in Altrincham. Gente and his wife are really humble people. Amazing food. One of the best fish and chips shops in Stockport, Ryan Hession 🙏

First time ordering from here and will be the last. Sorry but the food was awful. Delivery was orgionally 4.50 but kept changing and finally arrived at 6.20pm. Some of the order was wrong and mostly only just warm despite only being about 15 mins away fom us (Disabled and unable to walk to collect it) Don't like to leave negative reviews but sorry couldn't do any other.

Very small portions. £11.99 for fish n chips and there were no more than a dozen chips. Fish was cold and stodgy.

absolutely gorgeous! piping hot, delicious and will definitely be ordering again.

Heard good things and would of gone back but was charged £15 for a kebab, 2 sausage and portion of chips and a can which i now know was too much

Lovely meal from here tonight and such friendly service 😊 fish was so delicious and a really big generous portion and the chips were just right. You can’t go wrong with steak and kidney pudding which were cooked just right. Not been for ages but will definitely be back 😋

Recently moved to the area and went I. For a couple bags of chips. They were delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly! Looking forward to going back and getting a proper chippy tea!

best chip shop in area. chips and fish are excellent and always fresh. lived local to it and moved. happy to see on just eat, even with 15 min delivery was lovely, much better then anything ive tried in cheadle hulme/bramhall. writing this review waiting on another order..... mmmm

very great scran. sadly the atmosphere was very dry as sabrina carpenter and billie eilish were the only ones in the music scene getting played. I'D PREFER Dolly parton and pharell williams. maybe a bit of mambo number 5 aswell

Best fish either myself or my mother have ever had. Having just read a previous review which didn't rate the fish, I had to come on here and give my opinion from the point of view of a regular customer. The chips are great too. Ive even been in there when the guy from the Chinese takeaway next door has been in there for a fish. Best chippy in the area.

I just took a chance on this, as our usual chippy was closed. This will now be our regular chippy! Food was delicious, generous portions, good prices. The food arrived on time and was hot. Give them a go, you won't be sorry.

I had the pleasure of dining at Stockport Fish and Chip shop, and it was an absolute delight! The food was of the highest quality, with the fish perfectly crispy and the chips wonderfully golden and fluffy. What truly made the experience special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners, Toni and Maria. Their friendliness and dedication to their customers made the meal even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough for a delicious and heartwarming dining experience!

Very Disappointed. First of all food arrive cold, then again putting cold drinks into the food bag will probably contribute to that. Ended up having to microwave the meals!! Also the chilli was unbelievably bland and had no flavour to it.... Really disappointed with the whole order and won't be ordering again.

Clean and friendly staff but sadly the fish let them down. Ordered 2 fish and chips and both fish were over cooked. I had to throw half of mine as it wouldn’t cut and left the other half as it was super dry, same with the other fish. Chips curry and mushy peas was alright but wouldn’t come back sadly due to the fish.

I got the wrong order no food just lots of drinks not mine. Nothing to eat

We stumbled upon this place for lunch. We ordered fish (£6) and small chips (£2.80). Friendly staff and we watched the boss dip the fish fillets into the batter for frying. At least the fish were freshly fried and not pre-fried and left aside to keep warm. I was very impressed with the fried fish. In my opinion, it was far better than the Tony's Chippy (used to be no.1 in Manchester) in Ancoats. The batter was crunchy but not greasy with a hint of paprika (I think). The fish (I'm guessing cod) was fresh and not overcooked. The chips were good too: thick and were generous in portion size. Ultimately, the highlight was the fried fish! Strongly recommend this chippy and hopefully we can stop by for lunch again.

Really disappointed with the portion size one ‘scoop’ if that of chips and a over cooked fish for £11 won’t be ordering from here again. The curry sauce was nice tho.

New to the area, glad to have found this chippy. Fish and chips are perfect crispiness and portion size. Friendly service and they take card. Couldn't ask for more😀

First time using these guys & very impressed. Delivery was quick, hot & tasty. Proper chippy tea. Also really appreciated the tracking app that i've only see with this company that was very accurate (other restaurants should take note) as my address sometimes leads people astray.
