Elachi in Wirral

Decided to eat in for the first time here. Previously had a delivery which was excellent, so expected great things and was not disappointed. Arrived early by Indian restaurant timescales at about 7.00pm and the only other activity was dispatching delivery orders, so all seatsing as available to us. We were a group of 3. We shared 3 very interesting starters, the for mains I went for the 'not quite' Madras with garlic nan, whilst the other 2 stuck with the biryani (one each). We only just finished it all as there was a lot. Food was all piping hot and quick to arrive, and service was attentive without being intrusive. Only downside was the over £70 bill excluding the tip which seemed a bit high. Other than that it was perilously close to 5 stars!

Went to Elachi online to look at the prices for 2 mushroom fried rice, one meat platter, 1 chicken tikka starter and 2 popadoms for a total of £17.90. Drove to the restaurant and ordered face to face, only to be told that the total was £22. Obviously I was taken aback so I picked up a menu that was on the front counter and the items still did not add up to £22. Also not happy with the fact that I am talking to him and he answers the phone and interrupts the conversation even when there was another staff member standing there doing nothing., who could have dealt with the call. After the fella gets off the phone more than 2 minutes later, I explained that I should be paying the prices listed in the menu. Stay with me as this gets even more unpleasant for customer service, as the fella says I cannot sell you food based on the prices in the menu as the menu is an old menu and he has to charge the prices that are programmed into the till and would need to call his boss. I explained that it is unlawful to misrepresent goods based on the paper menu compared to the prices on the till and that his boss should know this and inform customers of what they really should be paying. I left after telling the staff that I wanted to leave the order and it seems they don’t mind hard earned money walking out of the door due to poor communication, customer service and an owner who puts prices up however forgets to make customers aware. Very disappointed to say the least!!!

Had a takeaway tonight, great experience. Delivery was prompt, driver friendly, all food was hot, fresh & full of flavour. Would struggle to find anything negative to say about elachi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered food for delivery, it was amazing! We had garlic chilli chicken with madras sauce and chicken sagwala. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food, great and plentiful vegan options (specific menu). Ordered takeaway a few times and can't fault any of the dishes we've had! Recommend the vegan tikka masala!! Amazing!

Came in on a Thursday night it was quite and we were the only people in there we ordered the prawn cocktail and when it arrived it still had the poo sack inside so we decided not to eat it moving on to mains my friend had the chicken korma and a piece of the chicken was still RAW! they explained they pre buy the chicken already cooked so they didn't take any responsibility and blamed it on the supplier service wasn't great as they kept speaking in a different language laughing at me and my friends after we complained we spoke to a manager later on and Alls she could offer was a 3 course meal why would we want to visit again after our experience Alla that was good was the popadoms

Visited Wednesday night,prebooked our table,arrived 7 30,staff very pleasant,we just had the main meals,food amazing, sorry no pics,it wasn't to busy,and you can take your own alcohol in,all in all lovely staff lovely food, certainly will be returning,

Have eaten in a few times and food had always been good... Got a takeaway this time,it was awful poppadoms tasted stale meals were just warm & nann bread was cold. Very disappointed 😞

This was recommended to us, so we went today , the food was delicious and tasty definitely a must go to place

Ordered mixed platter and chicken Madras amongst other things. The mixed platter was afloat on 10mm of oil in the tray and the curry was watery beyond belief. I've never seen a curry so bad before. As an amateur cook I'd have been embarrassed serve that to anyone. Really disappointing meal.

Fantastic food and great service !

I cannot recommend Elachi enough. We went for our first meal in last night for a double birthday celebration after a number of excellent take-out experiences. The staff are wonderful & the food is really excellent - definitely get the garlic naan 💛

Eaten here 3 times , so I obviously like it, food is excellent! Only negative, and I hate saying this, but side salad was so tiny, not really worth having 😂!! . The waiters are great!.

Ordered a takeaway at 5pm on New Year’s Eve to be delivered for 8.30 for a birthday treat and they cancelled at 8pm leaving us without. Disgraceful.

Always order from home but we have been this restaurant a couple of times and food is amazing staff are very friendly service is great .

Great food, great service. Mixed kebab starters are almost a meal in themselves, definitely recommend a single main between two if you have these as a starter. No complaints though, just absolutely stuffed :)

Great, considerate service. We were served promptly with both our starter and main course. We love the chutney tray here - bags of flavour and a couple of unusual dips! Our main courses were attractively presented and piping hot.

First time trying here and we will definitely be back. Looks lovely inside and we were given a nice booth to sit in. We took our own wine and we're given an appetizer while we read the menu. The food, salad, sauce and naan were all lovely and reasonably priced too.

This is a fantastic curry house. Highly recommended. You can order a curry anytime, but the dine in experience gives this curry house an extra edge. A must in the area!

This was the worst Indian I have ever had. The woman who served me when I picked my order up was rude and sullen. She was shouting at another member of staff. He seemed scared of her. I ordered onion bhajees and there wasn't an onion in sight. I don't know what the hell I got but it was disgusting and actually made me sick; it was dry and so bitter. I had to throw them in the bin. It put me off the rest of the meal. Some of the starters were very greasy. I would never go to this place again.

We had a lovely meal at Elachi Indian restaurant this evening. My partner and I ordered from the Sunday special menu, which included two popadoms and a tasty chutney tray. For the starter I chose the vegetable samosas and my partner had the Chicken Tandoori....
