Mt Everest Nepalese Cuisine in Wirral

1st time here, got great advice from staff on Nepalese dishes. 2 mains chicken methi and special karahi - both with good quality ingredients, spices and heat (1chilli) were just right. Will return soon.

Incredible food, great place and atmosphere

Great food, with quite a very good choice on the menu. Staff were excellent, given advice on the meals to make sure you were making the correct choices. Frist visit, but it won't be my last. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely superb meal. The lamb melted in the mouth, the chicken tikka was moist and fantastic and the chicken madras was perfect with soft succulent chicken. Absolutely top class. Thank you.

Went for the first time tonight with my partner, and we got seated upon entry even though we turned up early. Ordered the vegetable rogan josh with a chilli and garlic naan onion bhaji and chips, my partner got a lamb dish the name of which escapes me and rice. The food was perfect, the naan was possibly the greatest naan I've ever tasted. Prices are very good, £36 for us both with soft drinks. Staff are very helpful and friendly, upon paying they gave us a loyalty card and our next visit we will get 15% off the bill. We will definitely be visiting again.

First time back in Wallasey for a while and what a lovely find. My wife is coeliac and they could make most of the curries gluten free. Lovely meal. Next time we are here we will definitely come back!

With all honesty I can say we were very pleased with the food and service. Certainly authentic food, even though not super special but I'd say 8.3 / 10 and I'm being very demanding. Certainly worth the visit. Hard to believe you can find such a gem in the Wirral and especially Wallasey haha :) Wish this place a good fortune.

Excellent ambiance, delectable food and outstanding service. Highly recommended, must try the food at least once, and you gonna experience the best taste with great service.

Friendly delivery driver and big portions with free poppadoms. However the chips are dried up and not fresh. Chicken in the Korma was chewy and not fresh either. Onion Bhaji was nice and the nan bread was ok. Definitely won't trust reviews again as that's why I ordered.

Got a takeaway from here (first time customer) my usual wasn't delivering. So I chose here. We got the lamb tikka massala with pilau rice, garlic naan, and chicken lollipops for a starter. This is hands down the best Indian food I've had! The massage was creamy the lollipops were tender and we couldn't get enough of the garlic naan! Even the poppadoms were crunch and the sauces were delightful! 100% my new go to and I can wait to try more dishes from here!

We took my mum here for a birthday meal and discovered a new family favourite! A unique and delicious offering with excellent service. We were also glad we booked as, soon after we arrived, the restaurant was full - I hope word continues to get round how good this place is!

Friendly, welcoming & patient staff. Food was beautiful - I would have preferred a little more spice, but I appreciate most people in the area may be averse and not used to it! ;) Haha… The only thing that ruined our visit was a loud, gobby woman shouting on loud speaker or FaceTime to someone… 🙄😏 Not the restaurant staffs fault at all - Just a ‘Everyone look at me’ inconsiderate person sadly.

This was our first time at Mt Everest and we will definitely be back. Their understanding of gluten free was fantastic and the welcome and service was second to none. We loved the Mexican that was here previously but Mt Everest is definitely our number 1 now! Thank you so much for a fabulous meal and we will see you very soon x

First time visit. Absolutely delicious. Can't fault it. Fresh, quick, homemade and unique flavours. Somewhere a bit different from anywhere else on the wirral. Excellent menu and good value for money. Will defo go back.

If you are craving momos right now, simply head down to this shop and be prepared for your mind to be blown away. A huge shout-out to Rajan who is a wonderful person all in all and catered/ eliminated each and every hunger pangs we had if I must say lol 😂 . This was our 2nd visit to this hidden gem 💎 in Liverpool and the chefs at Mt. Everest have always delivered the satisfaction that we sought after... so kudos to those lads. Friday and Saturdays will be jam-packed so make sure that you reserve a spot well in advance. Other must try options are the Rogan Gosh (lamb) and cheese/garlic nans as they are absolutely silky smooth and melts in your mouth straight away...

Ordered takeaway from here for the first time and it was great. Delivery was quick, service was great and food tasted fresh.

I was very excited to try Mount Everest after previously travelling to Manchester to get a decent Nepalese dish. I've now been twice, first for a takeaway, which was so good that we had to go back to enjoy it in person. The food is fresh, full of flavour and full of the natural colours of the dish. I particularly enjoyed the Kwati bean stew, and the Samosa Chaat. When dining in, the restaurant is small and narrow, but there is decent separation between tables. When we dined it was quite busy but it felt comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and not at all overbearing which was appreciated. Looking forward to returning soon.

First visit this evening and it won't be my last. Excellent selection of vegetarian options. Very tasty. I saw only one staff member and he was very attentive and polite.

Great food and excellent service

Absolutely delicious food. It was a quieter Sunday so I appreciate the waiter had more time but he was extremely attentive and made good recommendations and talked us through certain parts of the menu. Between four of us, the total came to £93 including the mixed grill main which was £20 something. Outstanding value and there was enough to take plenty home, we definitely will be back or ordering delivery! Highly recommend the Sherpa lamb!

If you’re looking for authentic and savory Nepalese/Indian cuisine, think no more, its the best I’ve had in Liverpool and best customer service, highly recommended.

I’ve been going here now for 7 weeks on a Friday evening. I have to say I try something different every time. I’ve still not found a favourite as everything I’ve tried is so so tasty… the food is absolutely fabulous, the service is amazing and the price is even better! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone to at least try once… If you go for the first time I have to say try something you’ve never tried before! Just a few of the dishes we have tried… wow samosa Chat absolutely amazing!!

We really enjoyed our takeaway - freshly cooked, beautifully seasoned & very tasty food indeed. From the starters I recommend Tandoori Jhinga (king prawn) - lovely! We will definitely be ordering again.

Just had a lovely meal I got myself Aloo Kauli Potato and cauliflower cooked with medium spicy sauce, onion and tomato with egg fried rice and chilli cheese naan bread an a lovely pudding absolutely delicious food an amazing service highly recommended such a lovely place ill be back soon 💯

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. I would like to recommend to the restaurant, when serving gulab janam with ice cream not to put lots of syrup in the bowl please. So happy to see a restaurant here in Wallasey that is authentic as it can be with Indian/Nepalese (khana) food. Much needed here, thanks for a great night tonight. Looking forward to coming again.

Momos were delicious. Waiter was welcoming, friendly and not too attentive - just right. Onion bhajis are always a good test of a restaurant and theirs were light and crispy - full of onions rather than soggy dough. We'd definitely go again.

Gorgeous food, we got momos chicken dumplings, thakali egg curry and aloo tama bodi and all were delicious.. also lots of vegetarian and fish options.

Went here with friends a couple of days ago. Absolutely blown away by the food. Service great, atmosphere very nice. Newly opened, but can't fault the food. Indian style, but with a few Nepalese specials. Will definitely be going here again, it made our evening!

Mount Everest shares the very best of Indian and Chinese cuisines. Delicious food, and a warm friendly service. They also offer delivery or collection, so, as it's very local for us, I'm sure it will become a regular haunt. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed 👍

Excellent food, atmosphere and did I mentioned excellent food? Lots of options, you don't like spicy food, ask for mild options, if you like it hot, flavorful and fiercely hot it there for you. Totally recommended 5/5

Just had a great meal here. Nothings too much trouble, even promised to make me my fave Pina colada that I enjoyed when they were Mexican Bar & Grill. Staff are amazing. Thank you

Cant fault the curries we had as they were awesome but the starters we had were small and nothing special. Place is quite cozy and intimate, which would have been great but for staff and their friends/family talking very loudly to eachother from the bar to the pass/kitchen the whole time we were there. One guy was quiet, saw the issue and apologised but the others just didnt get that customers dont want a floorshow with the food. Pity. We may go back when it has been open a while and maybe the rough edges are sorted out.

Absolutely loved everything about it, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great food. Enjoyed trying to remember my very limited Nepalese with the waiter (Māpha garnuhōs mailē tapā'īṅkō nāma birsēṁ). Can't wait to go back, very fresh and clean tasting. Also do takeaway.

Just had my second visit here with friends and both times have been amazing. Starters are great, loads of choice, the chicken lollipops deserve a special mention, lamb chops, prawns, prawn puri and the mixed starter, all were quality, can't pick any faults. The curries were the best round here by far, delicious lamb with high quality meat and generous portions, the Nepalese spices are delicious n different to your usual Indian. We've tried 5 different curries and they all tasted great and distinct. Really friendly service and nice atmosphere. Finally a little gem in wallasey! Looking forward to next visit already. Also saw a few people getting takeaways
