The Moorbrook in Preston

Had yet another lovely meal delivered last night. Hot and freshly made as always, and requests followed :)

Food never arrived. Restaurant never answered the phone. Voicemails and messages left. 2 hours and still nothing. Then is changes delivered when it hadn't. AVOID!!!!!!

Excellent pizza and cheesy garlic bread, my son tried a bit and he'll definitely be ordering from you 😀

Lovely staff, always willing to help start cars, serve you food and the best pints in Preston. Offer vegan pizza, sides which is amazing and we always come just for the food. Brilliant value for money.

Original pub experienced in the pre-match with local fans, you can breathe the real air of English football. A shame I wasn't able to taste the very well reviewed pizza! Maybe next time! See you soon!

Chips were nice but could have been cooked 2mins longer so they were crispy as they were very soft and a couple were undercooked, garlic breads were delicious.....will defo be ordering from here again!! Thanks very much

Any city which doesn’t have a place serving food like the Moorbrook should not be regarded as a proper city. The food here is jaw droppingly, outrageously good. If you like bold flavours and high quality ingredients then there’s nowhere else in Preston that does it better.

Really good selection of craft beer. Pizzas are great and freshly made. They've changed the recipe for the PilPil unfortunately. Always have this and it's tomatoey with less butter and tame chorizo. That's more a sad face than a complaint tho as best pizzas I've had.

The best pizza and made in wood fire oven, the most bizarre, unique toppings I have ever encountered. The best cask ale selection within miles. Real old pub feel inside more modern beer garden with ping pong out back SWEET A++ 😎

Moorbrook has always been good for pizza but they've really upped their game recently with the sides. 10/10.

Great pub, beer, food & service! Kept me sane during COVID with take out cask and they continue to deliver some of the best food and drink the Preston pub scene has to offer.

We had pizza, some side dishes and drinks at The Moorbrook. We opened a tab for ease and enjoyed pizza from the extensive menu. There were some specials, but we found plenty on the regular menu. Service was quick and the food arrived in good time. There was plenty for our small family and we packed some away to bring with us. Really enjoyable.

Reviewed a few times but definatly deserves it. 10/10 every time!!! Everything amazing on the menu.!!

Decent little pub, popped in when going to Radio 2 party in the park. Good selection of beers and nice beer garden. Served quickly, staff were polite and courteous. Will visit again.

Hands down best takeaway in Preston!!! Love this place just wish it was taking orders all the time.

Always nice coming back to moor brook Pub we love the reggae days with jonni rockers sound playing. Warm friendly at the bar and eating area.

Traditional pub, with great selection of ales, innovative pizza toppings and service with a smile. One of Preston’s best kept secrets (just like their terrace area out the back👍)

The pizzas are amazing, the staff are always polite and friendly, the place has a great atmosphere and the people that go there are the best you will find in Preston, not to mention the huge selection of fine ales, well worth a visit I went on a Thursday night and the Pizza was half price, there are not many places you can get your supper and a pint for under £10 that was the quality they serve. 5 stars all the way.

I never leave reviews but I felt like a review was needed for here! we only ordered off chance, the food comes super fast, hot,fresh and the delivery staff are always lovely, the portion sizes are big.great prices...an absolute hidden gem (we've ordered 4/5times now) and the consistency is the same.our now favourite go to...keep up the good work there's not many takeaways you can say all this about now!! x

Although I didn't have any food it looked and smelled fantastic. Music was supplied by dub smugglers sound system from Manchester for DJ Dan's birthday treat and bwoy did they bring some weight!! Absolutely fantastic sets by 4 or 5 local MCs had the crowd rocking and swaying all night. Great little venue with a massive punch. Keep the talent coming.

Lovely pub. Friendly staff, quirky and spacious back garden. Also the dub nights they have are immense. Myself, my missus and dog love this place. Amazing pizzas too. Ash is great but he has a doppelganger who is great too 👍

Gem of a pub, perfect for match days too. Food is top drawer, selection of ales is also fantastic.

Great pizzas however the chicken goujons had a fish after taste. Not sure if they were cooked in the same oil as fish I hope not for those with allergies. We wouldn’t order them again but the pizzas were great!

Lovely pizza, but delivery was quite late. Admittedly, we live in a new build estate so our house can be tricky to find, but that would only account for the last few minutes of the delivery.

The reviews would have you believe this was a must visit. Left me wanting. Decent trek from city centre and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I may be wrong, so it'll need another visit at some point. Have seen other reviews about the clientele and their views on race. Slightly worrying that this seems to be a theme.

Took just over an hour for delivery but was well worth the wait . The food was hot and delicious

The order was ,missing an item, the contact number for the restaurant is disconnected and thus I was unable to call to deal with the missing item. The restaurant took over 30 minutes to mark the order as delivered; so I had to wait to say there was something wrong with the order. Food quality was okay.

Missing items in order and contact number not working

Argyle on tour! Up at 4am to catch a 6hr train journey to play Preston. This was the pub of choice for "we" regular pals from all over the country to meet. And a good choice too. Cracking atmosphere, home and away fans having good banter and having a pint....or two! Lots of good choices for real ale, cider and lager. I was drinking "memento" brewed in Reading apparently. Excellent service considering how busy it was. Unfortunately we lost 2 - 1 undeservedly......brilliant match and atmosphere!!

If you’re after a proper pub, with friendly staff, top notch pizza, the best beers in town and a bit of music to go with it, look no further…

Its better than i expected. Pizza and a couple of halves of nice beers I haven't had before. Not the cheapest, but I enjoyed myself.

Amazing food, had pizza, halloumi fries, chicken strips and house brewed beer. Amazing service, amazing food arrived early and will 100% be ordering again!

The bottom of the pizzas were burnt black! Garlic bread was cold so the cheese wasn’t nice at all.

This is a great pub very welcoming and friendly staff has a large and constantly changing selection of drinks and knowledgeable staff who know a thing or two about beer has a good beer garden and great food the choice of music played is good and not too load so you can talk

10/10, quick delivery and delicious food! The chips were lovely and the halloumi pizza is definitely recommended. Food arrived half an hour early too.

Had a great night here last night best pint of Guinness I've had in a while. My friends were drinking IPA's and as far as I know there were pretty happy with their drinks and the food was spot on too. I don't have dairy in my diet so I had a vegan pizza. Thanks to all the staff for a really enjoyable evening. I highly recommend the Moor Brook pub.

First time we’ve been here since moving back up to Preston and was blown away by the quality. There were some genuinely top drawer dishes - the pork belly bites being particularly notable - and it was great to have such a great choice of unique pizzas. Will recommend widely and will certainly be back!

Food was absolutely amazing. Could literally eat till I died. Had double fried chips, halloumi fires and jurassic park pizza. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Utterly disappointed with tonight's order, having ordered previously we know the quality of the food which is normally delivered. However, either something has drastically changed or they no longer have the same chef or they are on holiday. Firstly portion sizes in comparison to our first order had halfed. The pizza even came in a noticeably smaller box and looked much smaller, toppings such as bacon seemed undercooked. I don't normally mind a nice Woodfired char on my pizza. However, tonight pizza was burnt and that was the overpowering taste. The loaded fries again, normally came in a large box this time arrived in the normal large box but in a tinfoil tray, the pulled pork fries last time left us craving them. However, what turned up tonight were dry and chips undercooked. The quality of food has changed so much it has honestly put us off from ordering again. Unsure if this is just a lapse and we've been unlucky but in comparison to the normal high standard this was disappointing.

Food was delayed but they called to explain why and were very apologetic. Well worth the wait though. absolutely gorgeous pizzas full of flavour. need to visit so can have a nice drink with it.

Great selection of cask beers… Very quite, although it was 9.30pm… Southern Switch 5.5%abv from Blackjack Brewing Co Camper Van Brewery was a cracker along with the Stout by Two by Two from the Wallsend at 5.6%abv was another great choice…. Well done guys…. 🍺

Great range and quality of beer, also does fantastic pizza. Very traditional looking pub with a lovely outdoor area at the back. Can get very busy!
