Me and Liza have been waiting for this since August as the restaurant is so busy. But wow it was it worth the wait. Fantastic service followed by amazing food. A Buffet served fresh, and all you can literally eat. Really can't wait to go again, and yes, we are happy to wait until 2025. Thanks again Terry and Liza.

This time I had:- BBQ Pulled Chicken Toasted Focaccia Melt £11.90 Served with homemade chips & coleslaw Tender chicken breast , red onions, cheddar cheese, smokey BBQ sauce Just lovely, all elements of the dish beautifully executed. I did upgrade to salt & pepper chips, definitely the best out there. It’s a cracking cafe, great staff & an interesting menu - it doesn’t rate the highly on TripAdvisor for no reason!

A very nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean and friendly. The breakfast was nice and traditional. Single glazed windows in bedrooms so some road noise early morning but nothing to worry about. Sensibly priced. I would definitely stay there again.

We all really enjoyed our fish, chips and peas. I had curry sauce as well which was unique, and very flavourful (not the average gloop I’m used to!). Battered fish was fluffy, crispy and delicious. Chips cooked very nicely! All really fairly priced, and fish and chips combo even more better value! Good selection of canned drinks as well. Staff are really friendly, highly recommended! This cafe is under new ownership (second week under the new regime) and it didn't disappoint. I visited with a friend at around 11.30am and it was quite busy both with customers eating in and those buying takeaway food too. My friend ordered the butter pie which was served with beetroot and grated cheese. It smelled delicious and was declared to be excellent by my companion. I opted for a blueberry scone and it was light and fluffy and "loaded" with blueberries. It was absolutely scrummy. A pot of tea and a huge cup of coffee completed our order and both were perfect. The takeaway counter was doing a roaring trade with salad boxes and other takeaway food. The menus for both eat in and takeaway were extensive and a wide range of goodies also listed on the specials board. In addition to all of this we received a friendly greeting and smile from the staff. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
