First visit, pleased with the results. Ordered by phone, food was ready spot on time which is great. Prawn purée starter, good East n spice Methi special, excellent Peshwari naan, great. There is another option in Garstang but they seem to always struggle with timings so think East n Spice will be our new go to in the town.

Visited east and spice last night ordered 2 x chicken madras and 1rice last few times I’ve visited it was very poor and not much chicken and very watery So I mentioned it to the owner saying that I was going to give it one more go and try their food again and he was ok with my complaint He showed me the amount of chicken in my trays and he was very generous with the amount When eating the curry at home it was very tasty and 💯better than the last few times visiting and it’s good value for money Thank you east and spice may it continue I’ll be coming back definitely Regards Paul

Atmosphere,- staff pleasant as always but the lighting is a bit on the 'dim' side too much ( I dislike v.bright lights even more! )- and the newspapers & magazines to while-away the few minutes are very, very old.

First time visit,Just had an amazing meal, chicken Madras was lovely, wife and son had lamb bangladeshi Bhuna which they enjoyed, all meat cooked perfect, bursting with flavour, be back soon👍

I have been using East N Spice for over 20 years now, always the same friendly welcome, always the same lovely food. We have tried most of the menu over the years with family and friends and only ever had compliments. The meats are always tender and no matter what you order, full of flavour. The vegetables are always cooked nice too and in particular I do love the vegetable Samber! We are lucky to have you serve our community as you do. Thank-you.

After a break of a few years (not their fault) I've started buying takeaways from this local Indian restaurant again. It's still first class. I'm getting the mixed veg options which are tasty and well spiced (balti and bhuna so far), with onion bhaji as an extra, delicious. The meal was ready when promised and the manager welcoming. I look forward to future meals!

I have been coming here for years AND I won't lie It has been up and down not always on point BUT last night our food was absolutely amazing!!!! Everything tasted amazing so fresh and hot. The chicken was lovely and tender NOT DRY!!! we got 6 main meals with rice some chips and 15 popadoms with mango chutney and it came to £83 I think

Have always used East n Spice as my no.1 choice of Indian takeaway in Garstang. Consistently excellent food with a friendly greeting and chat from Ali and his chef. High quality and good value. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

They served halal. Only take away. But it's a Bangali taste.

Friendly staff, meat was tender and delicious, sauce was extremely tasty. The price was extremely good, especially for the quality of food. The peshwari naan was also great. I'll definitely be ordering again!

We have been using this takeaway for over 15 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, food is fresh and delicious. We couldn’t find a menu on line so decided to add for everyone looking. The tandoori and balti specialties are very good, the nans are fresh and one is never enough. We have tried other Bangladeshi and Indian foods in the area but this is the best. Enjoy.

I visited this takeaway for a birthday treat. The staff are friendly and you can see the food being cooked. It is excellent quality and good value. Chicken Madras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Saag Aloo, Cauliflower Bhajis, Samosas, 3 x naan breads. 2 x rice, poppadoms and dips. Total price £40. Brilliant.

Ordered a meal of 5 different dishes for Friday, they don’t deliver so we collected & oh my word it was absolutely delicious, chicken korma, dupiaza, tikka starter, lamb Bhuna, egg rice & both Keema & peshwari naans, 10/10 👏

Curry and rice is good but I feel like the naan bread is really poor. Just had one recently and it was like cardboard. Disappointing when you are really looking forward to having a curry night

Feel very lucky to have this Indian in Garstang. In the 10 + years going there i have never once had a bad meal. Brilliant food all cooked in front of you by very friendly staff. Only downside is i can't give them more than 5 stars

Bad customer service on the phone ordering, rude, obnoxious, food was probably the worst curry I've had no taste cheap meat blended veg slopp, best part of the meal was the bread, try Chinese down road

I ordered for five peoples by phone and man was not polite with phone order. He was very rude. I asked to pay by card before making order and he didn’t accept. He had not nice word. I disappointed.

This Indian takeaway is local to us and quite simply the best around. We order over the phone and pick up, never have to wait longer than a couple of minutes once you go to collect. The dishes are always delicious and the popodoms are the absolute best ever.. All in all a really good, popular takeaway that's well established in the area which speaks volumes about the quality of the dishes and just a nice touch, the owner remembers your name on each visit

Very welcoming and friendly, can't fault the food was very good.

Not impressed. We ordered a chicken tikka Bhuna and a chicken tikka Madras. All we could taste was tomato and chilli heat. Both curries very watery Naan bread ok but rice very clumpy so suspect this was reheated. The chicken was full of gristle. Staff not particularly welcoming either on the phone or when I collected in person. The Barton Bangla is a much better experience. To summarize poor customer service and worse food. One to avoid I'm afraid.

First time and last,food tasteless, plus they forgot one curry. Not impressed.

I can’t believe in 15 years of living in Garstang, and having take outs from here, I have never posted a review. Added to that I am also surprised only one person has! I had a take out tonight and ordered a Tandoori mixed grill that was superb. Full of flavor, salad, rice and condiment all for £9.50. Value for money whilst being able to watch the food being cooked and the tenderness of the meats is fantastic. I have had take outs for one and take outs for 6-8 people using a large variety of the menu. The time to cook and the standard of the food is faultless. Well done and thank you for providing the best Indian cooking. John

Love this establishment love to watch them making their culinary dishes, one of our favourite dishes is Tandoori chicken.

Very friendly staff, good prices and most important of all, excellent curry! 🍛 I usually have the chicken tikka balti which consists of massive pieces of succulent chicken in a tasty Indian sauce! Definitely a 5 star takeaway - recommended!

The chicken dishes were disapointing it tasted cheap and the curry sauce did not have complex flavouring. I wouldnt rush back

Nice people (otherwise it would be 1 star), awful food. All the worst things about a curry; all grease and no flavour, naan bread doughy and bland.
