Enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning with friends. Prompt and friendly service. Definitely will be returning to sample the evening menu.

Great little spot on Garstang high street, only a few minutes walk from the car park at the top. Soon as you walk in you get a warm welcome from staff and the decor is lovely, all cosy and autumn vibes! We ordered drinks and they came quickly, good choice on the menu. For food, I ordered from the specials, cheese and potato pie - BEST pie I have ever eaten, it was so good! My partner had the JD chicken burger and really enjoyed it. I also took a homemade scone home which was delicious! 100% worth a visit, I will be definitely be returning and taking family this time. I Also saw on the boards they do live event nights which would be perfect for a date night!

Easy to locate, the perfect temperature, and a delightful autumnal ambiance. The menu offers a wonderful variety of options. Our server arrived promptly to take our order and allowed us time to decide. The food was beautifully presented, the plates were charming, especially the main course dishes, and everything tasted exquisite. The cobblers have monthly live music nights which are a must! The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. The seasonal cocktails were absolutely the highlight—we enjoyed plenty of those! Looking forward to my next visit!

Enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal, excellent seabass and poached pear 😊The entertainment was a lovely female singer , brilliant voice and song choice. Service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be calling back very soon. Highly recommend.

I had the worst bacon sandwich I have ever had. It was cooked and recooked until it was inedible. The bun was dry and hard. I was offered a sharp knife to cut it and in the end not charged for it. New owners who are really going to have to up their game

A warm welcome and a nice atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The only disappointment was that they stop serving the small breakfast at midday, which my husband enjoyed and have replaced it with an all day breakfast, the quantity is far too much for him.

arrival - easy to find perfect temperature and lovely ambiance the menu has a lovely range of stuff ordering- quick to come and take our order gave us plenty of time to decide food- served beautifully, plates are so cute especially the main course plates and it all tasted gorgeous. the duck leg especially was out of this world- honestly, it was the best duck me and my partner have ever had. it came right off the bone, was so tender and the flavours were beautiful. I’ll be dreaming of that dish until I get to go back. music- there was live music when we went- we loved the mix between acoustic, jazzy and crowd pleasers. added so much more to the already amazing venue. staff- super nice, helpful and friendly, not pushy. overall- the seasonal cocktails were the best ones - we had plenty of those my only complaint is that i wish i ordered more. thank you to the team, we can’t wait to come back.

Popped in today, Saturday 5th Oct 2024, my Wife had the Welsh rarebit which was delicious. I had the homemade tomato and basil soup, two coffees, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, what's not too like.

Called in for a bacon n sausage butty I can honestly say that's the best butty iv had for a very long time, and dog friendly

Lovely location for a great breakfast. Market day in Garstang on Thursdays, so this place opens at 9am. Proper, loose-leaf tea (makes all the difference), a beautiful dining area with comfy seating, although I must've been in an internet dead spot: it's a solid old stone building with thick walls and I was seated in the corner, but my meal arrived promptly and I had no reason to regret a lack of internet connection. A nicely-cooked, decent-sized breakfast with all the right components of a proper Full English, although I do wish that back bacon could stop getting used in favour of streaky, which actually crisps up and tastes far better, but that's a minor quibble. Two thick slices of toast on the side and - one of those little bits of thoughtfulness that goes a long way - beans in a pot of their own on the side, to make sure even fussy types feel looked after. The gents toilet is equally considerately designed, with enough space for anyone using a walker to get in and out comfortably. Dog-friendly inside, but pets aren't allowed up on seats for sensible reasons. The server has what seems like an encyclopaedic knowledge of pop music tunes - I reckon she'd be deadly in a pub quiz or a radio phone-in! Overall, a great find. They've got a wide selection of interesting-looking drinks on offer as well as lunchtime and evening menus too. Well worth a visit.

My first visit to Cobblers and it was a very pleasant one. I called in for coffee before going for a circular walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. I looked at the cakes but as it was only 10.30 am thought it was too early so decided on a brunch. I just had poached eggs on wholemeal toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, exactly as I like them. The very thick cut toast was very nice but I couldn’t eat two large slices. The cappuccio was lovely and frothy. A very pleasant visit and I will visit again.

Excellent food and service, popped in for a bite to eat at lunch time and was very pleased we did. The food was freshly cooked and presented lovely. Would definitely recommend. 👏👏

Lovely, lovely place to eat. Lovely decor and even more important really friendly welcoming staff. I'm coeliac and they happily made me cheese on toast as an alternative to the Welsh rarebit which I couldn't have because it had gluten in it. Questions were welcomed which made such a difference because I always feel awkward. My husband had a cooked breakfast and said it was the best he'd had in years. We'll definitely be back when we come back to Garstang.

This is a really nice bistro restaurant on the main street. The menu has a good range and the prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and attentive. They also sell a good range of bottled beers and wine.

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Garstang. I always have a flat white, but on this particular occasion it wasn't quite as good as normal. Atmosphere is lovely, and the service is also good.

Michelle and her team accommodated our large group at short notice due to being let down by another restaurant. The food was brilliant and the service was excellent, I would highly recommend!

All I can say is fabulous ,The staff are brilliant and very dynamic seeing to guests needs .We ended up singing our heads off with DJ Alexa providing the choons for my birthday night out with another couple . food brilliant as well. What a fabulous little place this is, we’ve been coming to Garstang for years and have never eaten here as I didn’t realise they allow dogs. There was a group of 8 and 2 well behaved dogs, they asked us to preorder our meals as there were so many of us, this wasn’t a problem, it arrived promptly and tasted fabulous, even sausages for the dogs. I cannot fault anything from our experience everything was lovely so thank you.

We called in on a very wet lunchtime between xmas and New Year. It was quite busy, perhaps helped by some of the other cafes in town being closed. I liked the different takes on the traditional brunch menu. I chose chorizo, njuda, eggs and beans on toast. Very tasty with a noticeable kick. My brother had the breakfast baton with bacon and eggs. We thought it would be a good idea to be able to add extra items to your choice. Excellent coffees with a complimentary biscuit. It wasn’t cheap at £22 for 2, but the food was excellent.

We visited this establishment last Saturday. Met by very helpful lady who provided menus and came back a few minutes later to take our drinks order. We took our dog who was welcomed and they brought him some gravy bones which went down exceptionally well. Young lady came back and took our food order which came within 15 minutes as it is all cooked fresh on the premises. Food was excellent as was the service, friendly atmosphere and dogs welcome, quite a few dogs were in the restaurant. Would recommend this friendly establishment and will certainly return .

Doing a quick bit of Chrismas shopping we called in at cobblers for a morning coffee. Instantly greeted by an elf who found us a nice table. We only had coffee and toasted fruit bread and butter. The service was speedy and the staff were brilliant. The specials board looked really good and the plates of food that passed us on the way from the kitchen looked very tempting will make a point of having lunch there next time we are passing. Thanks for a great Christmassy start to the day

Can't fault the food or staff but the kitchen is very slow. Three times now had to wait 40 mins for a small breakfast. Either not prepped up fully or short on kitchen staff but avoid if you are short on time

Lovely cafe, very friendly staff, small vegan selection (the soup was delicious) and and dog friendly.

I must say the food and service were excellent, I really couldn't fault it. The lamb hotpot was so tasty and loads of lamb, pie was superb, and the mushroom risotto full of flavour! It's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. I'll definitely be back! 🍽

Evening bistro menu is small but the dishes are perfection! The best fillet steak I've had in Years. If you go in the daytime the coffee is the best in town!

Very busy place full with locals inside and out on the pavement. We stopped for a latte whilst visiting this lovely country town, the coffee was lovely, I would try the food next time the menu looked very interesting.

really nice bistro/bar. food was very good. steak and ale pie for me and smoked salmon and prawn salad for the other half. staff superb and couldn't do enough to help. good value for money too, nice selection of drinks too.

The girls working were so welcoming and attentive. The food was served quickly, well presented and ridiculously yummy. We had the full breakfast and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. The venue is dog and child friendly and has the most beautiful atmosphere that feels private without feeling isolated.

Visited here in the evening- an extensive menu with additional specials - opted for the Pan fried Salmon fillet with tagliatelle which was excellent. Found the beer selection to be on the more traditional side after previously being in Gin & Brews. Can’t have everything I suppose?

Very nice food. Best breakfast I've had in garstang! Was quite busy today but they managed to shuffle things about to fit my mother in who's a wheelchair user. When I left I had accidentally left my mums beaker and the lady behind the counter even brought the beaker back to the nursing home. Nice food, friendly service. I can see why it's busy. We will be returning.

Popped in after a lovely day in Lancaster with the other half. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely staff. So nice to see so much enthusiasm and passion from a young team. The place itself was lovely and clean. Modern decor with a cosy touch. The food was delicious I had the charcuterie with gherkin butter to start and the hubby to be had the prawn, salmon and avocado stack. Both very well presented and very tasty.. I wasn't expecting to like the butter but it worked really well. Mains I had the mushroom ravioli with pesto from the specials board and he had the lamb cassoulet also off the specials board. My ravioli was really well done the earthiness of the mushrooms were complimented by the basil pesto. The cassoulet was amazing the lamb was so tender it melted in the mouth and the sauce was just delicious. Fantastic food, fabulous service in a lovely cosy environment.

On our arrival on the morning of the 18th of April 2023, we were greeted by a lovely lady, who rushed off her feet she was very attentive to everyone and very helpful. The lovely Cobbled Bistro is a real Gem when it comes to quirky, Parisian ambiance with some very nice interior. We ordered 2 big breakfasts although some of the other dishes flying out looked very fresh and well made. The sausage was very tasty and bendy, not a catering sausage in sight whole tomatoes just how I like and the toast was bready and delicious too. The attention to detail of the food and cleanliness of the bistro was top standards and coffee's were also attractive. I would definitely return for other menu items. Thanks for a lovely breakfast.

We are regulars here, because it is such a welcoming and friendly place. It can get very busy but they will always do their best to accommodate you. The food is always generous and good value.

Lovely food, freshly prepared, clean, good price. I'd reccommend it for a cheap and cheerful lunch. One complaint that the waitresses fiddled with their hair a lot. Probably should tie it back out of the way and leave it alone.

This a brilliant place to visit in the daytime for lunch and a coffee. It is even more impressive for their evening bistro service. The new chef has settled in and turning out the best freshly cooked dishes in Garstang! The wines are equally as good but the Mediterranean Bistro dishes are just stunning!

The quiz night in cobblers bar Is a fantastic night that is not to be missed . We were treated with such warmth by 3 wonderful staff members Cliodhna, Lorcan and Connor who also played on our team . The pints are brilliant and thr service is to be commended we will 100% be back to cobblers bar and the Wyatt Hotel

Came here recently on a Monday afternoon for lunch. We had to wait a little while to order as the girls who were working were to busy stroking one of the regular customers dogs… I ordered the fried chicken burger and my wife the fish and chips. After what seemed like a lifetime our food finally arrived, on biting into the burger I was disappointed to find they use chicken thigh instead of breast, a cheaper cut and it’s obvious why, but the main issue was the burger was swimming in grease. (I feel sick just thinking about it) It also came with the strangest coleslaw I’ve ever seen.. no mayo just the cabbage/onion and carrot?! The wife enjoyed her fish and chips but it’s safe to say we won’t be returning.

Fabulous find! Delicious food, excellent service and a welcoming relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful choice of well sourced local produce and the best decaff coffee I've had in ages. Can't wait to go again.

Visited this cafe a few months ago gave it 5 stars unfortunately can't say the same when visiting this week.Meals were lukewarm poorly cooked will not be returning.

This could be a really good cafe but sadly for me inprovements could ne made.. Cappuccino not hot enough and only half a cup full., no napkin given with food, staff not particularly friendly I found.. Table service but you have to stand and queue to pay at the end...

We stumbled across this gem of of a place last week... Walking in we were greeted with the biggest smile from a lady called kerry... Drinks and food were ordered quickly, still in keeping with covid. Excellent hygiene standards. The food came hot the presentation was eye pleasing.. The taste was even better.. Fresh smoked salmon bagel with dill cream cheese with a side of home made chips.. A crisp glass of savingnon blanc finished it off perfectly. .. Will be back soon.. Also dog friendly which is a bonus 💕

It's Monday at 3pm. I decided to pop in for a takeaway hot chocolate however I was aware it was Monday and thought it might be closed. Although it said on the door opening times it was closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there were people inside so I went in. There were no staff anywhere so I waited, still no staff so I called out" Hello" several times still no one came. I then walked in to the back towards the kitchen and peered through the door. Staff looked at me as if I'd broken in? I then said' Are you open?" Yes was the reply. Oh I said. A young girl came out and made me a Hot chocolate which was lukewarm I handed it back and asked for a HOT chocolate. At the same time a older couple were complaining about their coffee having no milk in them despite them being flat whites?? I asked the girl why it said on the door closed M, T and W? She said 'oh that was last week's times"???? These two girls were about as lively and dynamic as a dry sponge. Not good enough. It was painful. Unsure if I would return but hopefully it was a one off???

A few niggles with service (no cakes listed on the menu, no spoons served with coffee) and food not being available but value for money on coffee and cake

Stopped here for coffee, toast and fruit bread. Toast and fruit bread delivered to table, despite being advised coffee was on its way this was not the case. We were halfway through eating which by this time our toast and fruit bread were no longer hot and had to ask again for our coffee. Cannot stand eating without a drink. Not good service.

Popped in for a hot chocolate and cake on a girlie shopping treat. Really impressed.

Don't walk past this bistro if you are in Garstang. A warm welcome, good range of food and drinks available and all at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely coffee. Had toasted tea cake which was yummy. Plenty of butter which came as slices rather than those difficult foil wrapped butter portions. Friendly attentive staff.

1st time here. Friendly upbeat staff, lovely and cosy decor and a good choice on menu. I took a star off because after my order had arrived I noticed dogs under the table on both sides of me (which I didn't realise) I have a fear of dogs so felt anxious during my visit.
