Called in the chippy on a day out around Fleetwood and the surrounding area .. having looked on trip advisor for the best we certainly found it !.. by far the best fish and chips I've tried lovely crisp batter on the fish and the chips were light and fluffy definitely calling again when I'm around the area !

We stopped en route to Blackpool illuminations. I had fish and chips. Absolutely spot on. 10 out 10 I could not fault it. And the staff have a sense of humour. They offered us a free refill on our drinks. So I asked does that apply to the fish and chip too lol.All in all unfaulttable.

Ordered the fish and chips special, extremely good value. Chips were delicious but batter greasy. Woman who served us made the place.

Lovely light batter, delicious, not-at-all greasy, fresh chips, lovely fish - I could go on and on! Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Definitely the best fish and chips we’ve ever had!

If in town, this is a good place to stop for lunch as some of the other fish and chip shops are overrated. Very nice fish and chips but found the mushy peas a bit tasteless. Cash only so be prepared.

Great chippy, great meal deal.. two fish, chips, mushy peas, b+b and drinks for £11.50. Great value and delicious fish and chips. Very friendly service too. Always come here when visiting Fleetwood and never disappointed.

Called in to The Chippy as passing through Fleetwood. Ordered two lunchtime special meal deals .. fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and cup of tea for £5.50 each. Meal was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Excellent fish and very fresh. The bread was also very fresh which makes a pleasing change from other chip shops. The eating areas and loo were bright and clean which is always good to see. To top it all, the service was really friendly. Great little chippy and will call in again.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips visited twice here now. Very friendly service with a smile from Reece :) first time had the sit in special for £5.50 lovely presentation of the fish, chips and peas accompanied by buttered bread and a lovely pot of tea. Second time I wanted to sit out so had takeaway fish and chips...once again absolutely delicious!110% amazing fish and chips would recommend this to anyone coming to Fleetwood for sure and for anyone in Blackpool to travel down as it's worth the trip

Just had THE BEST FISH I've had in a long time at the chippy! We parked and had tea for 4 adults and 6 children. The host was so lovely and helpful (even with our loud tribe all excited) and the food was the best I've had in such a long time. Cosy clean and great location! We jumped on the tram on the doorstep into Blackpool to see the lights and avoided the traffic jam. perfect

Whenever I travel now I need to find gluten free food unless I can cook for myself; on this trip I stayed in a hotel where breakfast was catered for but I needed to find evening food; I walked in here and asked about gluten free - was told that threy didn't do gluten free battered fish BUT they could do steamed fish and their chips are cooked in 'clean' fat (so no cross contamination from battered products).I had their special eat in menu of fish, chips and peas (and bread if you aren't GF) and a pot of tea all for £5.50.The chips are cooked in dripping (not oil) and BOY do they taste good - wonderful flavour, the steamed fish was delish and I was happy :-) I could quite easily have eaten in here every day of my visit but thought that that was a bit excessive! Will certainly be back for more if I am in the area............ meanwhile I will be cooking my home chips in dripping!!

I can honestly say it's one of the best fish and chips I've had, lightly battered and cooked to perfection. If there is a short wait in the restaurant it's due to the fact that the food is cooked fresh to order.

Perfect, Called today with my wife and daughter and 1 year old son . Always sit in and tip because the fish is wonderful and the service is excellent.Anybody visiting fleetwood should go , as this chippy is amazing value and great quality. See you next time guys , by then my 1 year old will be eating full portions , so I won’t have to share mine lol

Visited last saturday all of the way from Bolton and my word! We will go out of our way just to come here again.We ordered 2 "sit in specials" The fish is cooked fresh and the batter us do light! No grease! Lovely white fish.The owners couldn't do enough for us and were so warm and welcoming.Can't wait till we visit again!

Everything is freshly cooked, so you may have to wait for your food, but it is definitely worth the wait. Will most certainly go back again.

Not worth the long wait. Fish and chips weren't better than any others I've had and there are certainly much better lunch options in Fleetwood.

Today I went to this cafe with four adults, a three year old and a baby. A young guy and woman were the main servers and both pleasant. However the food took an absolute age and it was mediocre at best. The main issue I had was with some older man who may have been management. I had a hungry and tired three year old boy and who we were clearly struggling with but trying our best to keep him entertained whilst we were waiting serious time for food! It's a chippy so why is it not all ready to go I would like to know? It would have been as long a wait for the takeaway option!

Called in on a Wednesday lunchtime in May. Nice friendly staff. Food was cooked fresh for us. Didn’t try the fish, but between us we had scampi, sausages and chips. All very tasty and good quality.

Wanting decent Fish & Chips, we decided to take the tram from Blackpool to Fleetwood.

We went for a walk with the dogs and fancied chips, arrived at the chippy to be greeted by a friendly couple who gave us time to choose from the menu and then proceeded to cook our food. The chippy is spotlessly clean and the food is delicious. Hubby really enjoyed his Spam Fritter.

After visiting this place on a 5 day break with 3 kids,when asked there choice where to eat before we leave.you would expect them to say McDonald's,burger king,kfc ECT.all 3 chose the chippy.great owners coudlnt be more helpful.the food was delicious.we even took 6 of their pies back to Scotland.so if you go to Fleetwood make it a must.x

I have ordered some chips from here today I waited just short of twenty minutes for a portion of chips in an empty restaurant...

Pensioners Special, Fish and chips, mushy peas, tea, bread and butter £4.95. The Chippy is clean, the staff friendly and the food hot cooked fresh and is excellent. Well worth the money, well worth a visit. Can’t fault it. Check my other revues to see honest revues.

Excellent service, clean restaurant. Can eat in or take away. Excellent value for money. We got the family deal of 2 pies, 16 chicken nuggets, 2 large chips, 2 large sides (gravy, peas etc) for £13.70. We frequent Fleetwood regularly. We'll be back for sure.

I called in yesterday and was greeted by the warm, friendly staff. The service was great and the fresh fish was fantastic. I'll definitely be going back on my next visit.

Visited chippy after refreshing seafront walk .Excellent food at very reasonable prices .Owners very friendly and cafe spotless .Will certainly call again when next in fleetwood would recommend to anyone who enjoys tradition English food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere .

Just had delicious fish and chips at the Chippy in Fleetwood. I was just passing and fancied something different for my lunch. Had the Special which was perfectly proportioned for a lunch and reasonably priced and was served by pleasant, personable staff. Thank you very much. I'll be back in the New Year with work colleagues.

Although we stay in Blackpool we always make our way to this fish and chip shop and have a meal inside.

We visited The Chippy as a large family during a day out in Fleetwood. Can truly say that it was the best value Fish n Chips we've ever had. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to the chippy in just over a month. The food is fantastic, everything was cooked fresh to order; no soggy fish in a warmer here. The staff are all very friendly and it was a pleasure to eat here. Can’t wait to go back.

Was in the area for the tram festival and saw the establishment from the tram on the way in so decided to give it a try. WOW! what a find. It has to score 10/10 in all aspects. The food (fish and chip special) cooked to order was second to none. The whole place is spotless including the toilets. The owner and chef were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Can't be beaten on price and service...Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Very close to the tram terminus and under new management. Lunchtime special, good price, choice of fresh cod or haddock, lightly battered, freshly cooked, well cooked and well presented. Friendly, attentive service and very clean throughout. A great chippy, and highly recommended. Our first visit but certainly not the last.

Dropped on " The Chippy" after watching Stanley play Feetwood off the park and had the best fish&chips; I have had for years. No black eyes on the chips,fish lovely and fresh with light smooth batter and a choice of peas curry or gravy,(baked beans on request) tea bread & butter and all for £4-95 The shop was spotless and the service couldn't be faulted I will be back latter this month or early in October.

A very, very neat and tidy little cafe with friendly staff who made us very welcome. The meal of Cod, chips and peas served with b&b; and a pot of tea (free re fills) was cooked to perfection. At just £4.95 it out valued and tasted better than anything we have been served on our previous visits to the town.
