The Coffee Bar in Wyre

Came here a few weeks ago, ordered a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Coffees were lovely however I had to take these outside & was not offered any help or assistance. I’m a capable guy and managed but to open a door and balance 2 tall coffees on a large circular tray at the same time was difficult. There was plenty of staff and it wasn’t very busy.. after that we sat on our table & decided to move into the sun. The new table we moved to was unbalanced and as we put our coffees down the table tipped and my latte went all over the show. I’d only had a few sips and was enjoying this, anyway we were not offered any replacement or alternatives and not offered say another latte at half price? It’s just poor customer service in my opinion and the young male waiter suggest we move table instead of offering any other alternatives… fantastic advice. Maybe I should’ve offered my advice that they place tables correctly so they’re not uneven and mistakes like this do not happen in the future? I understand the business doesn’t have to offer another coffee or do any half price deal but there was an opportunity there to get repeat custom as the coffee was actually really nice. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

My husband and I were intending to have coffee here 2 days ago. Walked in and sat down only to be screeched at by woman behind the counter words to the effect of " that table is taken". You could have fooled me, no one was sitting there, and no possessions had been placed there. We promptly stood up and left. It was highly embarrassing to be bawled at in front of other customers, and no way were we going to spend money there after that. We will not be returning, and will not recommend this place to anyone else. Coffee shops employing unpleasant staff need to understand there are lots of coffee shops in Cleveleys with polite and helpful staff. This isnt one of them.

Great alternative to Costa. The drinks are cheaper but just as good. Good selection of food and in the summer ice-cream. Staff make for a good atmosphere and have a great rapport with the regulars. Very patient. A smiley coffee for a happy review.

Great place for coffee and snacks with friendly staff. Didn't eat on this occasion so can't rate the food. Coffee was excellent however and it's nice to support a local business instead of one of the big chains.

I went in I am diabetic. I paid out £560. Got a bar which was rock hard. So I went back to get a flap jack. The lady at the back of the counter was very rude to me.she also said you have to get a minimum send of £5.or there will be a minimum amount you have to pay. What a big joke. I am diabetic how would she feel.??? I will never ever go back into that coffee shop. I don't care if Joe blower is the boss. It's robbing people out of there money 💰. Out of ten I give it a big fat 0. Any coffee ☕️ shop you should hell to just get a coffee. She said I was looking for a go at her. Which I was not. I didn't sware. What a daft shop uncaring for diabetic.

Great place to stop for food and drinks. Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Proper pot of tea each, lovely sandwiches and cakes but also lots of other food on the menu. Reasonably priced and good location on this busy shopping street. Outside area for when there's a nice day. Staff really lovely and helpful, very friendly too and happy to chat with you. The whole place is lovely and clean as are the facilities. All in all 10 out of 5 for me 😊😊

The don’t allow dogs inside, only outside so only good for the summer

Atmosphere completely ruined when visited Sunday afternoon 26.11.23 around 1.30 pm - by a member of staff screeching like a banshee to what appeared to be her BF - who was in the seating area. Laughing like a hyena and lowering the tone big style, discussing a planned night out. We had to leave it was so annoying and uncomfortable. We won't visit again, which is a shame as otherwise it was good coffee, but that staff member needs sacking. The owner has spent a lot of money on that place, and it's shame that one staff member is losing them trade. Appalling.

We had coffee outside on arriving in Clevelys, as we had our dog with us and the staff were marvelous . Today we had coffee and bacon barms to take out and they were the best we had ever had. We couldn't eat the whole barms in one go. Will definitely call again.

Fantastic Café in a brilliant location and great transport links (bus stop opposite and tram stop a few minutes walk if that, traffic dependant), delicious food served at competitive prices. Friendly and helpful staff serving a brilliant service to customers. Cakes and hot drinks are fantastic here, definitely recommend to anyone...

I recently had the misfortune of visiting a café that left me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. The overall experience was marred by abysmal service and beverages that were nothing short of a disaster. Allow me to elaborate on my unfortunate encounter with this establishment. First and foremost, the service at this café was atrocious. The staff seemed disinterested, untrained, and lacked basic customer service skills. It took an eternity for them to acknowledge my presence, and when they finally did, they greeted me with an apathetic attitude that made me question whether they actually wanted my business. Throughout my visit, they were inattentive, constantly chatting amongst themselves, and neglecting the needs of customers. Now, let's discuss the main reason people visit a café—the beverages. To put it bluntly, the cappuccino and espresso I ordered were simply undrinkable. The cappuccino had an unpleasant, burnt taste that indicated a complete lack of understanding when it comes to coffee preparation. The foam on top was lumpy and lacked the velvety texture one expects from a well-made cappuccino. It was a far cry from the rich, creamy delight I had hoped for. As for the espresso, it was excessively bitter and lacked any complexity or depth of flavor. It was clear that the baristas lacked the skill and expertise to extract the best from the coffee beans they were using. To add insult to injury, the café itself was unkempt and unclean. The tables were sticky, the floor was littered with crumbs, and the overall atmosphere was far from welcoming. It was evident that the establishment did not prioritize cleanliness or upkeep, which further detracted from the already dismal experience. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of passion and care in a place that should be a haven for coffee lovers. As a customer, I expected a warm ambiance, friendly service, and beverages that were expertly crafted. Unfortunately, this café failed on all fronts. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting this café if you value good service and quality beverages. The apathetic staff, abysmal cappuccino, and bitter espresso are a recipe for disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a different establishment that truly understands the art of coffee-making and the importance of customer satisfaction.

Our favourite stop off for coffee, when we are holidaying in the area excellent staff and service. Much better than your branded chains.

Good hot chocolate, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Just had afternoon tea and it was amazing. My mum and I often visit the Coffee Bar and the staff ate always so nice and work so hard to make your visit worth while. Thankyou Nat and team

It has been a very experience. Feeling stressed as well as very hot (The sun, and being pale and ginger is never a good mix 😄 ) I decided to give the place a go. The lady behind the counter was helpful when I asked about the different coffee. I ended up with a frappacino which was very nice. I have tried iced coffee from the big chain shops and never truly liked them, but from here it was great. It definitely help me cool down. I will definitely try and come back again.

Really nice little coffee shop/cafe. Contrary to another review it was dog friendly. Really great coffee and we had sausage and bacon rolls or barns which were epic. All in all a very pleasant experience

Meet up with friends on a Saturday morning for tea, coffee hot choc and a lot of natter. We are always made so welcome and never been rushed. Staff are always lovely and drinks and food are excellent.

Nice place for a sit down and and coffee and outside seating if brave enough to watch the world go by. Excellent service as usual and friendly staff Only down side is perhaps a tad expensive.

Not as good as Costa one reviewer said? Must be because they don't pay any taxes ...coffee really good ..toasties good ...service very friendly ...no complaints ...soulless big chain or local business ...you decide .I have ..you pays your taxes you take your choice

The home of the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Seriously, the staff do make good Hot Chocolates but the best ones are the ones made by Tracey. Have one next time you're in, you won't be disappointed.

Great coffee bar pleasant staff would recommend

Is open only for take out drinks/snacks/sandwiches, but the experience is one that I look forward to daily. Great food/drink and made even better by the staff and their friendly banter. Can't wait until lockdown eases, so can really enjoy a great dining/drinking experience.

At the moment it is take away only and because of the new strain of covid19 they are closing on the 23rd and will open again when covid alows them too. The coffee bar is my favourite place to have a coffee.

Great find. I am type 2 diabetic so this place is a godsend. Unsweetened soya milk and sugar free syrups are a great help. Can personally recommend the latte, very nice coffee. Very friendly staff as well.
