I have visited Cafe Mila several times both with family and friends. Always excellent food with friendly caring staff. Definitely the best place to eat for breakfast and lunch and always such a nice experience relaxing and chatting with great food in such a lovely clean friendly cafe.

Stayed for one night, room was clean, the shower looked a bit old fashioned. Furniture in the bedroom was a bit sparse, a wardrobe and dressing table but only one chair, two small bedside shelves, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and biscuits, in the bar my wife had sea bass which strangely comes with mash and salad. I had steak and kidney pie, the meat on the outside and the pie crust were hard, looked like it had been warmed up in the oven. In the morning, boiler had not been switched on earlier so we were unable to make tea, the floor was covered in chips etc from the night before, my mini breakfast and my wife's scrambled egg on toast were OK. The staff were very polite and friendly Would we stay again NO If were to stay in the area again I'd look round for somewhere else

Dropped by for the first time in half a century ....... and the interior is how we remember it although the very long tables have been replaced by smaller, cosier tables. Plenty of seating and tables outside which in the good weather is an excellent place to sit right by the canal basin. Drinks and food were good and a great atmosphere ....... only issue was that one of the ordered items had been forgotten and quite a wait ensued. Good value for money and will hope to be back again when in the area.

Any remotely peak time is met with a ridiculous queue. The till guy is working at snail pace and the system they have just promotes massive queues, making people wait there for coffees. The food is average at best and can take ages to come. Staff look as stressed as the whole process appears to be. We’ve stopped going in with our little one on Saturdays as our entire afternoon can disappear waiting for a coffee and food to arrive. Poor.
