Very smart pub with good home cooked food and a great range of ales. Food was tasty and we were seated in the fairly spacious dogfriendly area as had two dogs with us. Good range of dishes on the menu to cater for all preferences. Special mention to Cameron, our waiter, who was friendly, witty and was clearly focused on his customers and their dining experience.

Love The Bellflower, the decor, the atmosphere, the food, the beer garden, the staff, everything about it is great, just wish I could pick it up and put it nearer to home in Liverpool. The food, drinks and service are all amazing. We have been a number of times since the renovation but more recently visited twice over Easter weekend, once on Good Friday, 4 of us had the Salmon fillet with hoisin noodles, 1 had the Fish & chips and 1 had the Fish goujons children's meal which comes with free ice-cream for dessert. All meals were fabulous, very tasty and great value for money. We also went on Easter Sunday, Gammon, Turkey and Beef roasts with all the trimmings and unlimited yorkshire puddings were ordered, which were the best we've had in a long time! Seabass fillet and king prawns and again the fish goujons from the children's menu were ordered and yes! The Bellflower, you did not disappoint! Once again the food, drinks and service were all fabulous. We cannot wait to come and visit you again! Well done! :)

We arrived at the Bellflower for lunch, as we had heard it had been decorated. Our first thoughts were that it was an impressive building, very spacious, and absolutely spotless. We ordered two drinks 'San Miguel'. San Miguel it wasn't, it was cheep & nasty, & flat . Still paid San Miguel prices though. We ordered X2 cheese pie meals.. The pie was delicious, not sure if it was homemade or bought in, it came with dry frozen chips & peas.. You would think for £15.50 each you would get homemade chips, and not quick short cuts. X2 Drinks X2 meals = £42

Sorry to say. But wasn’t exactly busy! For my burger to been burnt when I asked nicely for actual cheese and brisket on my burger! Not to be cremated then for it to come out with stone cold chips. None of the staff looked interested or happy to be working there. Sorry to be blunt but it’s what I noticed. I know it’s not too Noah food but for a burger to be £17.00 I expect it to be spot on without it been burnt or cold.

Really slow and chaotic service. Drinks took an age to arrive. Food came out (after a long wait) with missing items that were described on menu. Food was rather greasy and the steak was overdone, it should have been medium but it was beyond well. Felt like we couldn't say anything as it had already taken so long to get our food. Confusion over which foods one of our allergen party members could eat. Left without cutlery despite asking for some, ended up needing to get our own from a nearby empty table. To top it off, the food was incredibly expensive! Unlikely to visit again to be honest.

Sat 29th March2025, around 1.30pm as it is the New season to visit our holiday marina, we as a family of 5 adults ages 72- 21 years, and we have past regular visits over the years, we’re looking forward to returning to the newly refurbished Bell Flower. NEVER EVER again. We were not welcomed, at all!!!!! We walked in and went to the bar there were plenty of empty tables and asked if there was anywhere best to sit. The barman very abruptly and rudely point blank said. We don’t accept walk ins. Nowhere on the website on any signs outside is this mentioned. There was no offer of advise how you do then book just can’t serve. I was disgusted by this attitude. If it is a case you have to prebook on line, if you dive past on the busy A6 and thinking of calling to eat. Don’t bother, keep driving and find a more welcoming place. We didn’t even get a drink as we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. If this is how you treat regular customers then you don’t deserve them or loyalty. Some people cant book online if you have no mobile data. If this is the case. I am still so mad and upset about our treatment and the bluntness of how we were spoken to . Such a shame as the referb looks great.

I walked in early afternoon to check for vegetarian options and enquire if they let dogs in. I asked if it was necessary for us to book a table and was told no you don't need to. The male person behind the bar says yes, dogs are welcome. But would recommend for you to come 19:00 onwards as it gets very busy at 18:00. We return to Bellflower on foot, pitch black from Bridgehouse Marina at 19:10, the same person tells us that they are fully booked for the night. This is a Wednesday night, 26th March, there were 4 occupied tables. Not high season. The Bellflower must be raking in to refuse custom due to some mood swing/ attitude. I have never experienced such rudeness. I would like a reply/ a reason for this bad behaviour when pub's are struggling to survive. Plenty more pubs in Garstang with much better customer service. I would highly not recommend.

Despite having empty tables and the place not being busy at 5pm on a Saturday we were turned away and told we could not dine there. My guess is we arrived on motorbikes and weren't welcome. We had enjoyed a long ride out and just wanted some food and to warm up little before continuing on our final stage of journey home. Quite disappointing, but the next pub along The Roebuck.were happy to see us and serve us. So if you ride a Motorcycle give this place a miss and spend your money elsewhere. Lovely inside, its been done up nicely. Sadly that's all that was nice. The Sunday roast beef was tough as old boots and had to leave most of it. Whilst I like al dente veg, the broccoli was raw. Waitress who took our order, the blonde girl was lovely and friendly. However, we noticed she didn't appear to go wash her hands after stroking some of the dogs. She wasnt serving food though, just taking orders. The younger girl with dark hair who served the food seemed like she didn't really want to be there. Hardly spoke two words and looked put out when I asked if we could have extra gravy. Not a word uttered and gravy jug plonked on the table like it was a chore. Such a lovely place, but won't be rushing back.

Went for Sunday lunch. This was our first visit to the Bellflower. My wife and I ordered the vegan roasts. They were one of the best we’ve had. Good portion sizes for all meals. My mum really enjoyed her turkey roast and, as she’s not a big eater, the pub kindly wrapped up the rest to take home so she had a meal for the next day as well. The food is a step up from the previous offerings, and all four of us who went here for lunch were very satisfied with the food and service. Waiting staff were friendly and engaging, food was well presented and sufficient. We had a little wait for the coffees but that was only because there were others who'd ordered at the same time. Newly refurbished. Went along week before to check out etc. Found perfect seating for us as we have a really well trained but nervous dog. The manager said not to book on Line, ring and reserve that particular table. We did this with Jasmine, went along a few days later and when we went in someone was at the table and when we stated we had reserved that specific table the manager himself who recognised us said they do not reserve specific tables, virtually calling us liars and then remembered we had spoke to him the week before. Not really bothered as they were busy and seemed understaffed. Offered us another table totally unsuitable, so we just left. Waste of an hours driving. Don't bother booking. 23/02/2025 although a poor review, Jasmine was good enough to personally ring up to apologise and explain why our table requested was not available. New system with a few bugs. Good old pen and paper still works for me 😃. Thanks for taking the time.

The Bellflower has had a major revamp and recently been taken over by the Manchester based brewery J.W Lees. The Bellflower has had a complete facelift, from what was a cold, unwelcoming and uninspiring restaurant is now a modern, welcoming, warm pub that puts the focus on human customers rather than putting canine customers first unlike the previous owners. The service from our waitress (who we think was from South Africa but didn’t catch her name) was absolutely brilliant. She was attentive, had a laugh with our party when we were being fussy with our orders and she is a credit to the bellflower. We all enjoyed our two course meal, my Sunday roast was superb and was allowed to upgrade so I could have all three meats. Sister in law had fish and chips and I couldn’t believe the size of the portion! Excellent value for money. So glad our local pub has got its character back and will be making sure to pop in for a pint each week to support them.

Lasses with ice and making up table orders. Completely ignored me. In fact came to within 5 feet of me repeatedly for glasses and ice. One Lady taking meal payments at the bottom. Completely ignored me. And several very young waitresses sloping around with iPads and no desire to help also completely ignored me. Finally I just walked out After 10-15 minutes. Shame I had already paid on my card because there is no way I would have paid full price. I couldn't be bothered with moaning at the time so hear is my review (Very poor meal)

Always good food and service however disappointed today as they have taken the Birra moretti offer off. This has been on for a few weeks now, but does make a difference when the offer is on. Alot of people were walking out when they realised the offer wasn't on. Come on brewery put the offer back on !!

Stopped here when passing by for the first time and was pretty good. Good service friendly staff and not bad value for the food quality.

A really friendly place and a great reception from the manager, a great guy! Huge open and light pub with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are well trained, smart and attentive, food is simple, beige and reasonably priced. Curry was good and plenty of food. Thank you 😊

Stayed for one night, room was clean, the shower looked a bit old fashioned. Furniture in the bedroom was a bit sparse, a wardrobe and dressing table but only one chair, two small bedside shelves, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and biscuits, in the bar my wife had sea bass which strangely comes with mash and salad. I had steak and kidney pie, the meat on the outside and the pie crust were hard, looked like it had been warmed up in the oven. In the morning, boiler had not been switched on earlier so we were unable to make tea, the floor was covered in chips etc from the night before, my mini breakfast and my wife's scrambled egg on toast were OK. The staff were very polite and friendly Would we stay again NO If were to stay in the area again I'd look round for somewhere else

Good service, but bang average & expensive food. A BLT should NOT have cheese on it and a Jamaican style goat curry actually needs meat. Mine had hardly any, and even after sending it back it still came with hardly any in there. What is it with seaside places, you always seem to get ripped off. I had a bad stomach before it changes hands so Avoided it like the plague now they tried to reinvent the wheel. Make your menu, more focused, a bit better value and you’l get better reviews.
