Beautiful Sunday roast 😋 the whole family enjoyed the food. Staff were very friendly & smiling. Great experience. We shall be back

My partners food was cold, it was sent away to be microwaved a second time. My food was soggy and bland. Not a single thing was made fresh as it came to our table in under 10 minutes and considering we ordered a lot of meat and veg, I don’t think this is possible. The atmosphere was similar to a run down cafe in the middle of town centre. A pint of larger and a coke £5 each. Our food and drinks came to a total of £43. Far too expensive for microwaved food that arrived both soggy and cold.

Great place by the sea with excellent food and staff.

Went for a birthday party here a few weeks ago. It was a cute little venue perfect for a party. However the bouncer on the door was very strange and stroked my arm when I said I was cold. Overall she made me uncomfortable. Drinks were very expensive but this was kind of expected.

Always enjoy the food though potions did seem smaller this time.

Brilliant restaurant right on our doorstep. We have eaten here many times and feel that it deserves our praise. The menu gives great choices every time and the staff are professional and friendly. My wife chose the seabass fillets last night which were absolutely delicious. She said that they were far superior than the seabass we had in Tiggis in St Annes last weekend. I had the chilli which was equally good.

As always excellant, wirfe has dietery problems, they coped magnificently many, manly thanks.

Disappointed in the meals we had for what you pay, and the two soft drinks were £7.25 which I believe is expensive. Shame not as good as it once was. Got same meals as last time but less of it, don't know whether we'd go back.

I had the Turkey Sunday lunch very disappointed as the roast potatoes and other veg were way overdone and not fresh very disappointed.

£5.95 for a pint of lager, even more for a pint of cider and don't get me onto the price of soft drinks. A total rip off!! Shame on you.

We had lunch all four of our meals were excellent quality and all different items, the whole experience was really pleasant from being greeted when we arrived and being served by the friendly staff.

WE HAVE BEEN TO THE VENUE FOR 3 DAYS OUT OF OUR WEEKS HOLIDAY. THE FOOD IS GREAT, AND THE STAFF BRILLIANT. WE ARE REGULAR TRAVELLERS, AND EAT OUT IN RESTAURANTS ALL THE TIME. WE HAVE TO SAY, THIS IS BY FAR, ONE OF THE BEST PLACES WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THE VENUE, TO ANYONE. LONG MAY IT CONTINUE. OTHER RESTAURANTS SHOULD TAKE NOTE, OF THIS VERY ORGANISED ESTABLISHMENT. NO LESS THAN 5 STARS FOR BRILLIANT VENUE.

Our favourite place to dine. Service is always fantastic, speed of food arriving is generally very quick, and the food is always excellent. Nice choice of drinks at the bar too.

We regularly visit and drink cafe lattes when we get together with friends for Sunday morning coffees. The varied menu suits all tastes. The views of the Irish Sea are splendid. We often see the Isle of Man boat ' The Manxman' on the horizon and watch as it sails into Morecambe Bay.

It was very busy today, but the staff were amazing, very efficient and friendly.

We decided to bring a friend to have Sunday lunch here as he was over on holiday (plus we hadn't been here for a while). The greeting on arrival was very courteous and we were promptly shown to our table. Given ample time to peruse the menu, our drinks were then brought to the table by another member of staff who afforded us the same level of courtesy. Our order was taken and I have to say that the Sunday lunches were absolutely fantastic: very, very tasty (and the roast potatoes were fabulous, just like my mother-in-law used to make). We chose the bigger portions which I managed but unfortunately it left me with no room for a dessert. That's next on the agenda so we will be back. Every single person there is a credit to this establishment.

What a lovely little hidden gem this place is delicious food reasonable prices and just on the beach from wonderful on a sunny day.

The ambiance is serene and conducive to relaxation. I visited the establishment for a cup of coffee, which was expertly crafted and delicious. The only potential area for improvement lies in the pricing, which may be considered slightly elevated. However, the overall experience, coupled with the exceptional atmosphere, justifies the cost.

This is my go to place when I’m in Cleveleys. We have had many birthday celebrations at the Venue and also my mother’s funeral afternoon lunch. I have been twice this weekend, once with my son and again on my own. The food is first class and so is the service. I will continue to be a regular visitor. Thank you to all the staff and managers.

Spirit nightclub Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here last weekend. Management/Staff were brilliant - food, music all excellent. Great venue for a party.

We weren't expecting much as it didn't look all that from the outside. When we got inside, it was a lot bigger than we expected. And again didn't look anything fancy. This all changed once we were seen by the waiters on the waitresses who were very accommodating, very professional and efficient.. Then the food arrived. I'm definitely going there again and if anybody asks me. I might not tell them because it feels upso quickly. We might not be able to get a table next time.

Called in for the beer festival. Made a day of it. Good selection of beers. Good food and the entertainment in the evening was spot on.

Amazing a la carte food. Not what you'd expect from the dated exterior. So it was an extremely pleasant surprise to find exquisite food. Highly recommend the halloumi fries and sea bass.

I'm no connection with the review below however, as a local who doesn't usually go in The Venue as it's not the cheapest in the area, we went in midweek with friends and encountered the said member of staff who wasn't exactly polite. 19/07. Had I been in on my own I'd have turned tail after passing a few comments myself.

The family and I visited on Saturday and we had the most amazing meal. The venue isn’t the cheapest however it makes up for it in quality and service. I hqad the steak pie which I can honestly say had to have been the most amazing pie I’ve ever tasted. The staff were so polite (thank you Leigh and Jen) our experience was just lovely and we will most definitely be back again.

Cool place food very good I had mixed grill which was very good and the steak was amazing nice flame grilled flavour been before had lamb massaman and that was also amazing won't be disappointed with this place

Our lunch was amazing. Excellent quality and very fresh. Service with a genuine smile. Even our four legged companion was catered for with her own menu. Highly recommended. Will go again next time we visit our friends

This glorious dog friendly Venue which has always served us hot, tasty, food, has let us down today. Really relished the prospect of a £10 lunch club with a nicely varied menu. Unfortunately our food took over 25 minutes to arrive and was mostly cold. As my diabetic husband had already taken his medication in anticipation of food, we could not have complained and awaited replacement meals. Hopefully this is not the new normal.

Just on the off chance went for Tea/Dinner at the Venue. Partner has to be careful as he is Coeliac so we have to be vigilant. There was quite a lot of choice for him and I had the small Turkey/stuffing/potatoes/veg etc., The food was spot on, lovely staff, dog friendly. Will be going again soon. Thank you Venue!

Lamb £20 served with a selection of potato's mash not much in the way of a selection .. served with yorkshire pudding ???missing must have been with the other potato's!! Lamb microwaved as hot middle and warm outside certainly not fresh boiled veg crinckled cornered carrots. When informed of above .. OH il let them Know thats £60 pounds please poor very poor paid as rest of food was fine

Attended for Father's day, didn't book, but was seated immediately, service excellent, choice on the menu brilliant, if indisicive you might be a while because everything sounds so very good. We ordered the steak and ale pie, Massaman Lamb curry, and kids smash burger, my partners steak and ale pie was absolutely amazing, perfectly slow cooked meat in nice ale gravy, double dipped chips, side of gravy and braised veg, she was very happy, it's one of the Venues best dishes. Because it is Father's day, I wanted to try something different, opted for Massaman Lamb curry, with garlic naan bread, honestly was stunned meat was perfectly cooked on the bone falling apart, while in the past I've had Massaman currys that have a creamier sauce and are focused on coconut, this one was more like a Lamb Jalfrezi with potatoes, however, it did not disapoint, good balance of spice, and absolutely plenty on my dish, see images, the garlic naan was very nice with slight mint, garlic and char taste. I have not been in The Venue for good while, some other reviews saying its hit and miss, it was definitely a hit today especially considering its Father's day and its very busy, keep up the good work, and pride in the food and service. My only negative would be on the drinks, very expensive, £6.00 for a bottle of Old Mout, £4.90 a pint of Wainwright, Half a Lemonade £2.85 ( refuse to tip when the prices are inflated ) Was tempted to remove a star for this, but it's Father's day, and they did so well on everything else.

I went along with a group of friends. Others enjoyed their meal, but I had chosen the 'fritto misto'. The fish on the meal was nice enough, but I couldn't eat the salad underneath it as it was absolutely swamped in dressing. Literally swimming in it. It spoiled the meal for me.

The food was lovely and coffee first class. The £10 lunch was excellent value.

Food is a bit hit or miss. I have had some beautiful food here and I've had some average food here. I'll still go back though as its a great pub in a great location. Gave it an extra point point for food as I love that they have a dog menu!

Love this place ! I park in their carpark and inform them I'll be back for lunch ! On a dry day I have a walk along the beach with my dog then it's back to the venue for lunch, The menu is quite comprehensive !. I usually go for the small Roast beef served with peas carrots green beans and a Yorkshire pudding. Always good quality.

This place has been refurbished to a good standard. Just called for a drink but will return for food. Beautiful view on the promenade of cleveleys. Dog friendly also. Menu has been added and looks 👌

Have used The Venue twice now for Wales Good value for money food and great service. Perfect for the occasion.

Great food great experience friendly staff

We held a wake for my mum on 1st May in the upstairs function room. Food was fantastic, staff very helpful and view from the window out to sea fantastic.

Just had another gorgeous meal here, the pate is amazing. Staff are always friendly. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend x

We have absolutely loved coming back to this place! The food is great, had the chicken and chorizo burger. The dog meals are brilliant, £3.50 for a bowl of chicken and a separate bowl of sausage. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Definitely will be back 😁

Not as good as it was pre COVID.staff always pleasant but food too hit and miss these days.Too much batter on our fish even though asked for lightly battered.prices gone up everywhere so don't expect any offers wouldn't say avoid just acceptable food offerings nothing amazing as it used to be.

Food excellent the only thing was on the menu it just said vegetables which was ok until it came i dont eat cheese and it came with cauliflower cheese on my plate my daughter got most of the cauliflower off got a serviette and wiped away all the cheese sauce off my plate so I could eat my Sunday dinner service was fine except the waiters didn't come round to us so my son-in-law got up and went to ask if they could take our order it didn't spoil our day and as ive said food lovely.

The food was very good and you got the choice of a small or large portion. Plenty to choose from on the menu plus a Sunday lunch menu. The staff were friendly.

Great food and service as always

An excellent place to dine but they do close early during the week as we've passed at 9pm and they are closing. However they cater for dogs and the food for both the mutts and for us was delicious. I find it a little pricey and more of a treat than a regular occurrence.

One of our favourite places to eat on the Fylde coast. Always a warm welcome, and food is always nice. Never had a bad meal yet. Staff are very attentive and polite, and a lovely view over the Irish Sea. 😎😎

The restaurant is right on the front with great views. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. There is a big car park for customers.

The BLT 'ciabata', I think, was gorgeous with 3 rashers of bacon and my wife enjoyed the 'light' all day breakfast. Both quite filling for a lunch.

2nd time of being at The Venue. For Christmas Dinner it was amazing. The food and service was exceptional. Would recommend it for anyone. Nothing was too much trouble

All the staff where very friendly, had the xmas dinner, it was awful, sloppy stuffing, not eaten, two tiny slices of turkey one roast potato, mash, looked like mixed frozen veg, only good bit was the Yorkshire pudding and gravy. All the other meals I could see looked fine and my friend had fish and chips and that looked fine. Could of complained about the meal but didn't, just won't go again, other people also said the turkey dinner was awful. Maybe get a different chef.

We held a memorial for my Hubby in their function room. The food was excellent and the staff were most attentive. I do think a member of staff could have been provided rather than "help yourself" hot drinks but overall I can only say good things about The Venue

I do think the Venue as improved since covid days but it still needs to improve. The food is OK but using frozen veg instead of fresh not very good. I think the price is expensive for food and drink because the quality and quantity is not really good. I will praise one thing,the lady that served us ,blonde lady was really very nice and kept asking if we needed anything.

Called for steak and chips after walking from St Anne’s . Place was immaculately clean . My waitress was really helpful and pleasant. Steak was sirloin and a lovely cut of meat . Chips fresh and crispy. Red wine lush ! I’ll be back x

Attended The Venue for a wake so we used the upstairs function room. The space was clean and well set up all ready for our arrival. Staff where attentive and polite. Food was spectacular! They served a variety of foods as part of a buffet with a sever. We had Lasange Chips sandwiches rice dishes etc. We had a quick look round the restaurant itself and it had lots of space and lots of happy faces. Nappy change available downstairs

It was my first visit and I was not disappointed, There was a fabulous view across the beach, the food was fantastic quality and very reasonably priced, great service, safe free parking opposite. Well worth a visit.

Went in for something to eat, good menu, reasonable prices for the area, portion sizes are really good, and really enjoyed the meal. The place itself is well done out and is very large so it doesn't feel cramped like a lot of places I've eaten in before, staff are efficient and polite, there is also a huge car park to the side if your driving, recommended 😀
