A real shame I was looking forward to trying out this new place, but found the chicken in the chicken byriani really dry. Also portion sizes were small for the steep prices

Sabza is a firm favourite of ours. This evening was the first time ordering for pick up though JustEat; with that in mind, the food tonight just wasn’t up to par. Both the Butter Chicken and Masala were bland (I don’t mean mild) and having had them both from Sabza before, not what we expected. Masala ended up in the bin 😞

Worst curry we have ever had. Looked promising as food arrived hot. However, upon opening our curries, they were like soup - tasteless and inedible! The popadoms were soggy so had been left exposed to the air (obviously not fresh). The chapatis and naan were stale. £35 for two curries and some sundries - absolute rip off. Really disappointed and would not recommend.

Had several meals from here last night, curry floating in oil,raw garlic pieces no base sauce at all.The standards seem to have dropped shame this place previously was so good.

I'm from Birmingham and have tasted the best.. but Sabza surprised me with amazing dishes and creative cuisine.. ive never experienced before.. Highly recommended

There isn't a zero star! One of the bad takeaways I've had. Mutter paneer came as chole paneer rather than mutter. Paneer starter was rubbery with no flavour. Ordered non veg starter platter. Prawn and Sheikh kabab was very rubbery looked like leftover food. I wonder how they have 4 star's in Google reviews. I believe customers are being fooled by this being called as Indian food and reviews. Avoid at any cost.

We celebrated my birthday here. The food was excellent - good sized portions served on warmed plates. We had king prawn bhuna, special butter chicken & special chicken naga. We took our own wine.

We booked a table for seven people, all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service all good and a nice ambiance to the place.

First time I have been here as my daughter wanted to take me somewhere new for fathers day I enjoyed it so much everything was fantastic even though they don't sell alcohol as you can bring your own so my daughter and son in law brought some for us all it started the night off on an high and it carried on like that for the rest of the night wondering around a few pubs in Garstang and finished the night off at the clockwork bar

A bit odd this one but I'll give it a crack so here goes..... I think I've been a bit unlucky on the two occasions I / we have dined here. The first time we ate here we arrived on spec not far off their closing time but we were seated. We were VERY much made to feel like we were inconveniencing them and after a "word" with the manager, they settled down. Brilliant food tho! Recent occasion.... We were shown a table and seated (four of us) and then attended to by the most impatient, unkempt and spectacularly rude waiter I have ever come across. So awful in fact, we found it quite funny rather than annoying. We ended moving as the table behind us was so noisy I thought that one of female diners was giving birth or laying an egg. Once we were moved though the food was quick to arrive, there was plenty of it and tasted absolutely top rank - amazing food quality in every way. If you appreciate well presented and well prepared great tasting food with chaotic waiting staff akin to Basil Fawlty you'll love it. As said before, we may have been unlucky timing wise on both occasions eating here. That said, if you stand your ground and like to just chuckle rather than go ape with anger with the rudeness, the food is out of this world and will not disappoint! Honest!

We ordered tonight from our holiday let in Pilling. Worry about food being delivered to the property, from ordering to delivery customer service absolutely perfect! I do love a good Ruby! To find the Naga on the menu I was a little sceptical as it’s my go to dish. The food was amazing! We ordered 7 dishes and absolutely faultless..! Well done Sabza! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ keep doing what you’re doing 👍🏻

Just had a takeout and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. So much meat and very tender. It was ready in about 30 mins and they let us know when it was ready. The App was very easy to use too. Would definitely recommend it. 👌

Our favourite place for a delicious , fresh and authentic Indian meal. The staff at Sabza are always very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We have eaten from here at least 5 times now and it has never failed us. The food has always been top notch, fresh and tasty. My particular favourite is chicken tikka Bhuna and my 5 year old son says it is the best garlic naan bread he's ever tasted!

We are fortunate to have SABZA in our local area, the food is excellent and will be our go too Indian restaurant for a long time

Love SABZA. Lovely little restaurant with very friendly staff. The food is always top drawer when either dining in or chilling at home. Bring your own alcohol helps as you can take what you need and it keeps the bill down. If you haven’t visited the restaurant, it’s a must!

The BEST Indian in Garstang! If you have not tried Sabza it is a must! The food is gorgeous and fresh, you cannot fault it! We frequently get Sabza, and the food standard never fails. I would definitely recommend any biryani, tandoori mixed grill or lamb masala. Takeaway is just as good as if you were ordering in the restaurant - you always know you’re going to get a good meal from Sabza.

When we stay at garstang, this is our go to Indian restaurant. All the choices taste different to each other, great flavours, and will adjust spices at your request The service is also very good, cheerful waiting on staff and can have a laugh with them. The last time we stayed at garstang we had a takeout delivered, and the food was just as good I definitely recommend this restaurant for first class food and service. We have been back since this review, and can again, say that it's up there with the best food we've had. We try different dishes each time we are there and there are such different tastes in our choices. The restaurant is very clean and tables are set up ready for you to eat and enjoy your drink that you bring, I love the wine glasses 😉😉 (which are sparklingly clean) If you have an issue with your meal (which never have had) I would suggest you mention at the time you are eating, the staff will always try their best to rectify. I'm sure it is better to try and sort out at the time, rather go home unhappy and leave a rubbish review about something that might have been easy to sort out. We'll always go back here without a doubt, when we are in the area . Thank you for your fantastic service with a smile 😃

Was asked to remove my review with the offer of a £20 voucher but when I came to take up the offer they did not reply The original review mentioned that the food was stone cold and some of the meat had a terrible texture and very chewy. Most of the curry sauce had leaked so went through the paper bag making a terrible mess in my kitchen

Hi we came to the restaurant in october. Picked our order up of A lamb madras. A chicken korma 2 potions of garlic rice 4 poppadoms with mango chutney.. onions and a potion of chips...WELL got back to our caravan has we were staying in Nateby. Opened the bag to find only 1 rice 2 poppadoms 2 pots of mango no onions. The chips were over cooked and like rubber. The madras was like water and tasteless and the kormawas usually under par.(definitely not like this place normally). So the wife phoned up to tell them our problems. Only to be told the manager will ring us back. Half hour passed and still no contact from anyone from the restaurant so the wife rang back. To be told the manger will ring you back when he's back from his holidays. I mean how laughable is that. We have spent hundreds at this place with no problems at all until the one's in question. It's us who is out of pocket. This place is normally 100% spot on. We fell let down and dissapointed with how they have just brushed us under the carpet. I'm sure the managers name is fuad. But upto now still no correspondence.

Curry was very bland I could hardly taste it and the chips were disgusting. £13.50 for king prawn bhuna and didn't even come with rice. The was early though and hot.

Great food recommend the chicken and spinach, great fresh hot poppadoms and one of the nicest pickles trays I've had. Really nice staff that will recommend food to your taste. They also remove coriander from the dishes for my friend.

This review is mainly directed to the management of Sabza who I can honestly say have acted honourably after reading my first review which I have now retracted. After reading my 1st review the management offered to put things right, straight away but I decided not to take up his offer, but to visit the restaurant anonymously with my wife. Our experience was that the food and service was top rate and we enjoyed every minute of it. I can only say its a shame that it takes reviews like my original one before things are put right but I can now say if you want the best curry restaurant for miles around then it must be SABZA ! Good luck for the future and a happy new year!

Having travelled extensively through the uk, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining in. The menu is extensive, the staff attentive and helpful and the food is as good as I have ever had. The sharing starter was very generous and flavoursome and that set the standard for the rest of the meal which was stunning! Highly recommended *****

Recently ordered a takeaway from SABZA Indian Restaurant and it was the best Indian takeaway I’ve eaten for a while, I would highly recommend SABZA. Staff very friendly.

Our prayers for a quality Indian restaurant/takeaway in Garstang were answered when Sabza opened its doors for business. The takeaway food is of the same high quality as the restaurant and the staff are willing to tweak the menu to your satisfaction; my personal favourite is the chicken Pathia, Madras hot with onion rice. If dining in the restaurant does not have an "On Licence" but feel free to bring your favourite tipple. Highly recommend

Disappointing service when I took my husband for his birthday tonight. Served boiled rice up as pilau rice and when we queried it we were told the chef and waiter were being trained! We didn't ask for the bill but we were presented with it and then told the staff wanted to go home - this was at 10.15pm even though it wasn’t due to close till 10.30pm and my husband hadn't even finished his drink.Never felt so uncomfortable and pressurised to leave a restaurant. First and last time visiting this restaurant and will be celebrating my husband’s birthday somewhere else next year!

I have never been treated as abysmally in an establishment as I was this evening. I have lived in Garstang for over 10 years and tonight, myself and my partner decided on a takeaway from Sabza. I placed an order to be collected at 17.40. When I arrived, there was one table seated and myself. I approached the bar/till area and spoke to a young man to confirm my order. He disappeared to the back, so I sat on a stool next to me and waited. He returned and said, verbatim: "It's going to be 5 minutes, go and wait outside, there's seats there." He didn't ask, he told me. I thought it a bit strange and didn't much want to sit outside on my own on a Bank Holiday Sunday night in the cold and wind, but did so. Five minutes pass and nothing. While outside, I was treated to the delights of screaming drunk people around me, some of whom began throwing each other through the doors to the restaurant. Ten minutes pass - a restaurant worker obviously doesn't like the fact that the glass doors were wide open from the drunk people being thrown into them and closes the doors, all while leaving me standing there. Now the icing on the cake - while I've been cast outside like a leper, other people who have placed orders for collection are stood inside the restaurant, away from the cold, waiting for their orders - one couple, then a fella, then another - the last straw came after 15 minutes of waiting outside in the cold with nobody saying a word to me. I go back in and asked the guy who ordered me to wait outside why he did it when other people were allowed to wait inside, to which he replied: "I thought you'd prefer it out there..." I'm not a dog, why on Earth would anyone prefer to wait outside in the cold, surrounding by drunks, fighting on a Bank Holiday weekend? I got no answer so another man asked what was going on, I explained - then the young guy said: "She was only waiting outside for like 5 minutes".....Oh wow, when your own receipt is time stamped 17.40 and it's now 17.55, and you think that's five minutes.... It goes from bad to worse when this new guy says: "The thing is, we ask people who have takeaways to wait outside because it's very busy in here on Saturday nights" To which I replied: "That's absolutely fine, except it's not Saturday night, there's one table in here and I was the only person who was told to stand outside and I'd like to know why." I've never been treated so disgustingly in a restaurant in my life. I still really want to know why they specifically treated me in such a disparaging manner. I was nothing but polite until I'd had enough of being treated like a dog. Do they routinely have problems with completely sober, 40 year old women in flowery hats? I'm honestly at a loss.

Food was okay but the cheese garlic naan bread was small, dry and tasteless, hardly any cheese. It was extremely thin. Definitely over priced for a curry on its own for the standard. I understand the no serving alcohol and that you can bring your own drinks although every 5 minuets customers were nipping to the shop for a bottle of wine. Slightly strange atmosphere. Staff friendly. At our usual Indian restaurant we pay around £42 including a beer for the same food & here we paid about £51. Would never go back. Wouldn’t mind paying these prices if the food was to the standard. I know they will probably say inflation…

I've been coming here since they opened around lockdown time, and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own or bring from the pub nextdoor. It is our favourite Indian now both due to the food and the customer service. The Currys can be on the spicier side compared to others but overall very enjoyable

We called in by chance without booking and although very busy we were accommodated, it was our first time and didn't realise not licenced but was told we could take our own alcohol if wanted, It wasn't a problem as we ordered soft drinks. The food was excellent, all served hot and well portioned, the service impeccable, staff were pleasant and very helpful.

The takeaway delivery was half an hour early. 5 stars, the food was gorgeous. Especially the chicken tikka masala sauce, which tasted wonderfully of coconut, but not too overpowering. Please keep doing what you're doing! :)

Good environment. Friendly staff. Serving halal. Everything halal.. But very little quantity nothing complimentary. Like Rita salad etc. But tape water can be served. Washroom has lotta but on male side

Just had a great take-away from Sabza. It was a big order and every dish was excellent. The Lamb Jalfrezi and King Prawn Balti were delicious. I didn't get to try everything because others in our group were quicker than me. However, everyone agreed it was the best Indian Takeaway we'd had for a long time. Good portions too. Thank you.

We had a meal for 3 Adults 2 kids - We had a mix of heat in the dishes - I enjoyed the hot special and it had a great level of spice, my daughter had a low spice dish and loved it. The restaurant is clean, modern with a really nice ambience. The staff were friendly and attentive. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will come back

Ordered my food and told it would be ready in half an hour. Got a phone call after 20 minutes to say it was ready. The food was amazing. Lamb was so tender melted in my mouth. Staff really pleasant and very friendly. Will definitely be back.

My Mum won the Facebook competition and received a £30 voucher. We ordered takeaway and it was piping hot and just as good as what you would have in the restaurant itself. Service was fantastic and super helpful on the phone to answer questions we had.
