Could do with a better range of craft, but the place is clean, efficient, friendly and reasonable value for money. Well worth a visit?

Delicious cocktails in a stylish but relaxing bar, nestled amongst the shops on Garstangs High Street.

Nice pub for food and drinks, the cheese boards looked amazing, even though we didn't try one. Bar staff were very attentive and polite which is always nice, and the female singer was very good as she added her own twist onto many popular songs throughout the decades.. you can even bring your dog!

Nice selection of ales, no food on the weekend that we went in unfortunately.

The staff couldn't do enough, friendly, welcoming and always made sure your drink was topped up. We had a fantastic time.

The lovely people at The Kitchen Tap accommodated 7 of us as a walk in table this evening. Despite being reasonably busy, they found space and we had a great time. The staff were really friendly and professional- attentive but never pushy, helpful, kind and polite. The food was really tasty and reasonably priced. Big thanks to the chef for doing me the burger in a flatbread (both fresh and perfectly cooked). Absolue gem of an eatery - would visit all the time if I lived closer.

Stumbled across this place, and I'm so glad I did. We were after an eggs , avacados scene, and they delivered, very nice food , good coffee too. Fully recommend Good menu, friendly staff,clean, well presented

Just a fleeting visit on the way from the dentist. The beer was on fine form - went well with the Scotch egg. Exactly the sort of place Garstang has been crying out for.

Usually like this place, nice decor and a good feel about the place. We felt a bit let down with some of the food this weekend, particularly with the pizza and loaded fries. Pizzas were a little doughy and needed to be a bit more crispy! The chilli fries and breakfast fries were quite poor. The fries were overdone and too crispy, but I couldn't even get a fork in them, and they were only just warm. The chicken salad was also not up to much....

Food Adequate however I don't think we will be going again

Tried this place for th first time while on a day out in Garstang. So glad we tried it. The owner was lovely and more than happy to offer recommendations. We picked off the specials board. I had the goats cheese wrapped in Parma ham salad with balsamic glaze. Lovely dish ...nice light salad perfect for the sunny day. The other half had the goats cheese and Parma ham pizza .. nice crisp base lovely flavours. We shared a garlic bread and loaded salt and pepper fries which were bloody gorgeous and very moreish .. we nearly fought over the last mouthful. Lovely place very modern decor and clean, dog friendly too even had a jar of dog treats on the bar. Really enjoyed our food and loved the relaxed atmosphere

Friendly staff. Seem to have a variety of offers on a daily basis. Just had a drink but will definitely try food next time. Good that it's dog friendly.

This restaurant is brilliant, the food is lovely. The breakfast pizza is well worth a try. But if its not your cup of tea then anything on the menu is brilliant.

Great place for food or a drink when in Garstang.

Absolutely disgusting services Saturday the 21st I came down with my partner drove 20 miles as we come to drink the hoffmeister on draft and eat the 4 cheese pizzas. I ordered a pizza and a beer we were told that they were going to change the barrel. So I waited our pizza arrived firstly with no beer I asked politely where the beer is the lad said she's changing the barrel then lady said he's changing the barrel. Doing other jobs instead of attempting to serve a loyal paying customer the services was disgraceful. Our pizza arrived firstly Absolutely no beer after 40 mins of asking the question where is my beer. So no beer arrived and they told me oh its the gas we need to sort the gas out why didn't they tell me this in the first place and make me wait for no beer to come I had my pizza with no beer and left no apology or nothing! I'm extremely upset over this as I've been coming as a regular customer with my partner and friends it used to be a lovely place but completely gone down the pan now I'm making all my friends and family aware of this situation as I don't want them wasting there hard earned money at a place that does not value customer loyalty or services I've seen there is another craft beer bar opening up over the road we will be taking our hard earned money there in stead.

Had breakfast with my grandchildren and father christmas on Sunday 4th December what a brilliant morning we had, full English breakfast for all, Father Christmas and entertainment for the children. Great food and service, would highly recommend, excellent value.

We went for dinner last night after seeing the reviews on Google and it didn't disappoint. It was busy but we managed to get a table for two. Great selection of gins, I had the rhubarb and apple which was lovely, hubby had the Hoffmeister weisse beer which he said was really good. We opted for the sharing platter called A Bit Of Both and some salt and pepper fries. The food was great, the platter included a big range of foods. The scotch egg is gorgeous (note: it is spicy). The fries were yummy but in hindsight not needed due to the size of the platter! Good value for money, lively atmosphere, friendly staff. A great find. 🙂👌

Good selection of beers and good food.

Liked the decor, limited veggie options, however the burger was extremely tasty and well cooked.

I am the first to acknowledge that the acoustics in the Tap are terrible, but tonight the decibel levels reached a new high. The noise was deafening, the child bouncing a ball added to the cacophony at 9pm on a Saturday night. If we had not paid for our drinks prior to sitting down, we would have walked. . Dissatisfied.

Popped in for a local beer. Nice place although could have more beers with being called Tap. Still enjoyable though. Worth a visit

Good atmosphere, very friendly staff, nice range of beers. But don't go seeking any culinary treasures. What food is served is generous, tasty and their fresh baked pizza is spot on.

Nice place and great beer - I’ve been a few times and pizzas are good but my Piccanto had far too much tomato sauce on it and the Margarita had far too much cheese on. Less is more with Pizzas as they be hard to cook properly if too much cheese/sauce on and become sloppy.

Great place, called in today and it was like a breath of fresh air compared with all the old school boozers in the village. Food coming out looked appetising too 👍

Good food and service decent beer selection

First visit, didn't eat. Young artist on. It was really good. Cask ale, decent wine and food looked yummy. We will go again soon.

Have been a few times since it opened, favourite place for me and Hubby. Great beer for him and Rose Lemonade for me, salt, pepper and chilli chips a must.

First visit and won’t be the last. Eggs florentine and Garstang breakfast both cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and great deco. Spot on pint of Hofmeister ( follow the bear ) . Highly recommend, we will be back.

Popped in for lunch was not disappointing. Lovely place for a spot of lunch the ploughman's board was particularly tasty. Staff friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Saturay night, lively, atmospheric, inviting. Cocktail was tastey. Sharing platter on the next table looked so good. We're eating there next time. Staff friendly too. We returned as a family on a Friday evening and had an amazing mixed platter, pizza and French fries which was sooo tasty. Live music at 8 was great. Love the atmosphere. The owner is really friendly and happy to chat. We will be returning.

Great place Pizza's are great and music and quizzes and themed nights on different days of the week. And a good selection of beer and gins. Now I need to try the scotch eggs..

This was a surprise, we were looking for a vegan restaurant but gave up and just went in here for coffee and to our surprise they had vegan options, I really enjoyed the pizza and they have vegan breakfast too.

Nice location, good food and a friendly bar manager. We had all day breakfasts and pizza. Quality seemed good but the time was quite long given we were the only ones in the place. I think they may have a had a technical issue at the time.

We visited this little bar/restaurant twice during a weeks holiday in the area. At lunch we just grabbed a coffee but we were so impressed we decided to spend our last evening here for a bite to eat. The pizzas and loaded fries were delicious and there is a good selection of non-mainstream ales The owners and staff were all very friendly and we will definitely return One point of note we didn't reserve a table and after we had eaten we were told that they would need the table back shortly as busy - we had planned to stay for a couple more drinks to listen the music . However this was understandable as it is quite a small place Look forward to returning

Must be my 4th visit now! Quickly becoming one of my favourite bars/restaurants in Garstang. Food is awesome & drinks are great quality too! Really friendly service and a good atmosphere. I've found the live music can be slightly too loud/distracting not because it's bad but because the size of the place but it's not enough to put us off. Will be back again soon.

Stumbled across the Kitchen Tap whilst attending the start of The Legend Fires North West Stages Rally. My son & I had some fantastic artisan pizza's & the owner Alex recommended some lovely Real ale whilst chatting freely to us both. A little gem of a place and not to be missed.

Enjoyed our pizza. Live music was so so loud we couldn't speak to each other. I've had ringing ears for two weeks since. I wouldn't return if live music was on. Too small a place.

Visited for the first time today for lunch and we were very impressed. We had a couple of drinks and a pizza. The pizza was huge and absolutely delicious. The place itself is lovely and clean, service was excellent and the staff were all super friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic Brunch at the Kitchen Tap. The food was excellent from loaded breakfast fries, Eggs Benedict to their famous Garstang grill. Absolutely delicious. All the staff we met were so friendly, so efficient and genuinely cared that we had a great time. The decor is great and set on the high street of lovely picturesque Garstang, we will definitely back here very soon.
