Bistro Italia in Wyre

Great food & service! We came here for Valentine’s Day and it was really lovely. The staff were great and the food came out pretty quickly. I went for the gnocchi and my partner got the spagbol, which were both amazing. We also got the lemon cheesecake for dessert, which I highly recommend.

What a fantastic time we had here, lovely food, drinks and staff. Couldn't fault it, will be coming again, perfect if you are having a special occasion or just like us a catch up with family and friends, you won't be disappointed 😀

What a hidden gem. We have passed by so many times and thought it was a small restaurant not a 'tardis'. We went with our dining out group of 30+ and they coped very well any mistakes were rectified without a fuss. Food was very good, wonderful atmosphere. Owner was hands on and friendly. Had an amazing dinner experience at Bistro Italia last night! The service was exceptional - attentive, warm and welcoming. The food was amazing and the atmosphere great. Will definitely come back.

From arrival to leaving the experience was shocking, staff didn't seem to want to be there, staff clearly needed to be trained on how to wait and dress as one waiters skirt was so short you could clearly see the top of her tights. met friends there and was passed from one staff member to another with the attitude of being an inconvenience, One member's response to been asked to seat me was I'm busy ask someone else. Another member of the party had an inedible starter and asked for something else then as he was eating his new starter our main courses arrived and the waiter placed our mains down in total disregard to what was on the table and we had to move our starter plates to one side, our main courses where not the best, they seemed to use the same sauce from a starter as they did on the steak and the chicken dish the best part of the evening was leaving the building.

Visited bistro Italia 3 times recently. The food was excellent, the service brilliant, the staff very polite. The lady manager was very good and has completely transformed the place to the better. It was a very pleasant experience!! Strongly recommended!!

Went for my husbands birthday as always had a fabulous time lovely food. A lovely surprise from the owner am sure she is the owner she’s always there to greet you. This lovely lady really made my husband’s birthday memorable she did the birthday music and a bowl of ice cream with a candle just so lovely & thoughtful. I would 100% recommend this place the staff are lovely the food is gorgeous & the atmosphere & surroundings are lovely & petty. I’ve been coming here for special occasions for quite few years now & never once have I had a bad experience. It gets busy so recommend you book before hand.

Food came far too quickly in-between courses. In and out within 1 hour. Also was charged double for all our drinks, had to go back next day for our refund.

Won't be returning here again, for the money the food wasn't worth it, the service, they want a fast turn around we asked for a 10min break after starter and it came out about 2mins after we finished. The prices are to expensive for thr food and check you drinks bill as they charged double for every drink, my parents went back and ended up getting £60 back and she blamed the staff, it wasn't, the owner has done this little trick before.

Visited Bistro Italia as part of a birthday with a party of 8. The food was delicious, however we requested we had a break between the starters and mains. Within a matter of minutes of finishing the starters the mains came out, and therefore we struggled to finish. Also upon returning home we realised we had been overcharged by £52, so had to return the next day for a refund. Disappointed as I enjoyed the food, so hopefully it was a one-off.

Good atmosphere, service a bit less than average. Food poor, as in very poor. Wife ordered chicken, came with rice, basically a plate of white food. I ordered peppered rib eye steak. Dined here with a large party of friends and family. We were squashed onto a long table that just wasn't suitable for the number of people dining. I felt crammed in for thebentirity of the meal with no space side dishes. I ordered steak and chips which consisted of a very average piece of meat with only a few frozen type chips on the plate. Nothing else. Dissapointing for £25. Nice restraunt but there are better locally.
