Difficult to score . Food lovely . Restaurant fairly busy for a Tuesday night however the music so so loud couldn’t hear each talk . Previous reviews mention this . Won’t be back

The best food with great service. I'm pretty sure this is one of the best Italian food restaurants we've been to and recommend it.

First time for me. Fast friendly service considering it was very full No wonder it is popular. Food really tasty. Prices good.

If you want to experience Italian food at its best, accompanied by a great atmosphere and friendly staff look no further than this place. We've been many times before but on this occasion, took my wife, father in law and eldest son so celebrate him passing his C2 (expert) in French earlier in the week. The service was great as usual, and the food second to none - and that was for all three courses. My father-in-law, 87, said it was some of the tastiest food he'd ever eaten! Highly recommended and great value. Go!

Bloody racist italian! Called them to change a booking for 6:30 instead of 7:30 to which they did agree even ask them if we can come in early and were happy to sit at the bar and the guy at the bar when we arrived was the most racist, disrespectful italian i have ever dealt with in my entire life! Not only he was raising his voice to me, he was saying that they can’t accommodate us bcoz they are fully booked. He even said that he will call the guy i spoke to on the phone which never came out to talk to us. We were stood there like they dont care. Its my baby girl 1st bday and he just ruined it all for us as we then have to find somewhere else bcoz theres no way they are taking money out of us. Never ever going back to this place ever again. There are better italian restaurants nearby that are worth the penny with excellent customer service.

A very nice and satisfying place

A fantastic Italian restaurant that I can't recommend more highly. If you haven't been go! I've been several times in the last few months and each time has been wonderful. The food is amazing. The focaccia is the best I've ever had and all forms of garlic bread are truly delicious. We've had a range of the starters which have been so good but the sauce with the king prawns is unbelievable and the daily fresh pasta which you can have as a starter or main is a delight. The pizza is the best around for miles and miles and all my family love the different pasta options. We've also had range of the fish and steak options - let's just say this is our favourite place to go for any celebration. One last point, the staff are so welcoming and friendly- they really add to the whole experience.... Forgot to mention the deserts....heaven.

We usually have take away but came for the Valentines night tonight. Food was delicious! Very generous portions, so generous we didn’t have room for desserts sadly! We’ll have to pace ourselves when we return. Staff were great. Nice atmosphere. The attention to detail for the decoration with the heart confetti and chocolate was so cute! Was a bit cold when we arrived but we were there from opening and it did warm up once more customers arrived. Can’t wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful evening <3

Wasn’t blown away with food , the duck was tasty but veg was almost raw and you could hardly see it, good service but food wasn’t hot so a bit disappointing

I wasn't blown away by the food, however it was still tasty, hot and freshly made. There wasn't much zucchini in my batter (starter) and the menu stated it came with a flavoured mayo and mine was plain. I could've had more duck in my pasta main but my husband said his pizza was good and his bruschetta (?) was loaded with tomatoes. The service was outstanding. Very happy attentive staff and the atmosphere was excellent. A very popular busy restaurant. Prices as you would expect. An enjoyable evening 😊 ps wine was lovely 😍

Thought we'd at last found a good, authentic, Italian restaurant on the Fylde coast. Disappointed. On a Thursday evening the atmosphere was loud. You had to shout to have a conversation. And one of our bottom line criteria for an italian - minestrone soup - was absent. Risotto was over cooked to the texture of rice pudding. Carbonara was bland. First and last time for us.

Went in on Christmas Eve with my family. Had great food in a lovely restaurant. Highly recommended.

Visited for a work event; food was outstanding and so fresh - highly recommend the Burrata - wow! Soft and creamy, lovely fresh ripe tomatoes, pesto and extra toasted pine nuts. Food is excellent and all the staff also excellent. A gem!

Great find, bustling efficient friendly and value spot for pre theatre, post shopping or just dinner out. It looks dark and closed outside- that’s good keeps tables for those in the know - it’s anything but inside!

Fantastic meal, two of us are from the festive dinner menu, it was super tasty and I think they have hugely improved since I went last around 10 years ago. I would normally opt to go to Pulci in Poulton for an Italian, but after some recommendations I decided to try this one. I'm really glad we did. I will be back!

Food was excellent and big portions. Staff friendly and helpful with choices. Only issue was the restaurant was cold, people sat in their coats.

Came for wedding anniversary, as we do every year, as well as several times a year for birthdays etc,. Food was brilliant, staff attentive and want to deliver the best possible. Even remember us from previous visits. Highly recommend and will 100% be returning.

Went here expecting an average Italian meal and a long wait to be served. It usually happens to me so I was prepared. I got it totally wrong. The meal was not average, it was lovely. One of the best I've had. All served fast by efficient waiters and waitresses. The missus and I came out with full bellies and cheesy smiles. Ya gotta go and experience what we did. It's a very special place.

Pulcinella is one of the best Italian’s I have ever visited. The staff were friendly and welcoming - they provided outstanding service. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. They produce the most incredible, authentic dishes. I can honestly say I have ate the best garlic bread I have ever had - credit to the chefs, I felt as if I was in Italy. I cannot recommend Pulcinella enough. I have been to Italy on multiple occasions and this restaurant provided better, more authentic food, atmosphere, and service than anywhere else I have visited. I will definitely be coming back!

Went here for a quick tea before the cinema, food was stunning atmosphere was lovely and decor was lovely. My only criticism is the head waiter manager should smile and the male staff when serving the food to the paying customer should be focused on them and the food not having a conversation in italian to other members of staff. Other than that it was perfect. I will go again.

Food fantastic, my daughters face when she saw the seafood spaghetti 😁. Service very Italian dining as in they serve you if you need them but otherwise leave you too it, having said that it was difficult to get the waiters attention at times. main courses were absolutely fantastic husband had steak cooked almost as rare as he likes which is a rarity 🤣, my chicken was beautiful and moist with crisp skin (how do they do that) desserts were something else kids and husband had the profiteroles which they loved, I had the canoli omg it was fantastic 🤯😋. drinks -9.50 for a large wine I found expensive and I live in a tourist trap 🙄 overall £157 for nibbles 4 mains and desserts 2 large wines 2 pints of lager and a coffee negatives = the ladies bathroom omg I was nearly sick with the smell and the bin was overflowing with paper towels this was not cleared the entire time we were there 🤢

The service was generally good, friendly and attentive. The pizzas looked a little charcoaled in places but otherwise good. My pasta meal was too salty but I'd happily go back again.

This was a lovely place. The bill was not expensive. There were three off us,for starter each, main, and one drink, it was under £80.

At this restraunt, we would rate the overall experience 4/5 stars. We ordered the lasagna al forno, the spaghetti bolognaise, seafood paella plate, chips, garlic bread, and an Americana pizza. For the food, all was great apart from an area of improvement for the pizzas, this would be that it could do with a lot more tomato and cheese, more evenly spread across the pizza as it was more in blobs- other wise the taste was great. I’d especially recommend the garlic bread there, I get this everytime I go. The service is good aswell, along with a romantic atmosphere- perfect for dates- but can get very crowded and loud as it isn’t too large. We waited around 20 minutes for food which was great, and after our main meal we had the gelato ‘affogato’ , and the warm chocolate sponge, both very tasty. Considering there aren’t many places to eat in Clevelys for a nice meal, i would definitely recommend this place as a couples or small intimate group of people place. Only issue we had with the restaurant is on one of our previous times visiting with family members we waited for food for over an hour. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5

Lovely Italian! The staff were so lovely with us after we turned up having not booked a table. After initially being disappointed they couldn’t fit us in, on asking again the second time one member of staff really went out of his way to accommodate us. After finding us a table he was so friendly and you wouldn’t have realised we were an added extra! The service was great, food delicious, I would highly recommend the tomato garlic bread! The atmosphere of the restaurant and friendliness of the staff was certainly a highlight. I will definitely be returning. Grazie!!

Way too noisy very disappointed with food

Absolutely brilliant food. We had a steak with chunky cut chips & pasta & pizza they were both some of the best I’ve had by far! & the pasta is true Italian pasta & flavours. The pizza is true Neapolitan pizza in an amazing oven cooked in seconds with a true char!! Soooo good! Definitely worth visiting & returning

Visited this lovely little place last Thursday 3rd August. Not been for 6 years, but glad to report the food and service are just as excellent as the last time. Me & the family were having a little staycation at our caravan in Fleetwood, decided to go for a few drinks in Cleveleys. Got in to Pulcinella's around 8, we hadn't booked and it was very busy, but they managed to find us a table next to a birthday party. Starters - Olives Tapenade & Hummus. They came with little breaded dips. Olives were crushed in a blender with a garlic sauce. Absolutely perfect. Wife had Soup of the day (Broccoli & Cauliflower) and loved it. Mains - Spaghetti Burrata, wife said it was the best she ever had. I ordered Spaghetti Allo Scoglio. Seafood dish and there was so much of it to eat. All the seafood was cooked perfectly. Little side dish and wipes to place the leftovers. We ordered a bottle of Pinot that was lovely. Italian run, perfect service. We even had a shot on the house at the bar afterwards. One of the best meals I've ever had (and we eat out a lot) Highly recommended. 10/10

Fantastic food, outstanding service and lovely atmosphere. I had the rump steak which was cooked to perfection, my wife and her sister had the lasagne which was the best we've had anywhere. The prawns in chilli and garlic were outstanding as was the mushroom starter. We will go back there if we're in the area again. Thank you all for a pleasant evening.

We are locals but not visited the restaurant for sometime. Service was poor and also the food. We had a garlic bread to share as a starter which was so oily and salty. My sister ordered lasagne which she sent back. It was dry no sauce hardly any meat inside and very burnt. She was offered something else to eat but she had half of my pizza. We were not charged for this when the bill arrived. My granddaughter who is 11 had two scoops of the so called “chefs” vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce. I was charged £7.50 for this!!!! How can the restaurant justify this amount for ice cream!! We won’t be returning.

Pulcinella seems to be an all male service and is a rarity in the world of Italian eateries as it's LGBTQ+ friendly. This visit is only a 'fair' overall food rating in that the fish and shellfish stew contained a large piece of 'off' fish. I spat it back onto the spoon and informed the staff. I was told I had already eaten half so I could pay for the half of the dish I'd eaten. Okay. We totally understand there are fraudsters out there. We aren't those people. In the end we were not charged for the fish/shellfish stew. Such a shame about that one piece of fish (assuming it was just the one as lits left on plate) but these things can happen. I chose the stew with expectation of a delicious soup base with carefully placed high quality seafood. A light hand from a confident, calm chef might have seriously helped the food experience overall (every diner is a food critic). My stew would have been improved by a 'less is more' approach - less pink trout/rock salmon and gungho plating to start with, and more use of the human nose to detect rancid fish prior to cooking. The shellfish were seriously overcooked which was such a shame. Pulcinella has an early doors set menu 'tho we preferred the full menu options. Other half said the hand made pasta was lovely but the weird addition of crunchy demerara sugar on top spoilt it. I sampled and had to agree. Ask to leave that out if you do choose to eat here. House white was lovely - shame I left the undrunk wine behind whilst paying. Oops. Asked for and got a crispy canoli as dessert, which one of the waiters said I was very lucky to get so I say thank you so much for going to that extra effort. My review is based on personal experience of dinner service on 19/07/2023. I pride myself on giving reflective and fair reviews.

Everything here is amazing, the food always tastes really good, the staff are all very friendly, its the best place ive been and id recommend everyone to go!

Our go to favourite place for a quality Italian meal. Excellent food served by a friendly team. Our guests were really impressed and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Will be back soon.

We were staying at Cala Gran on holiday and wanted somewhere nice for dinner, stopped in here early on Thursday evening and managed to get a table, the food was amazing service was good waiters were friendly and it was reasonably priced, highly recommend

Nice interior and friendly staff. However, the fish of the day “Today from Fleetwood market” was not at all fresh, overdone and tasteless. Disappointing as the restaurant came highly recommended. The rest of the food was anglicised Italian, but competently done. Nothing to persuade us...

Sadly with lift not working was unable to sit on the terrace otherwise a good visit

Wonderful pizzeria! Serve the best pizzas in the whole of Lancashire and possibly some of the best in Britain! Incredibly friendly and welcoming and consistently brilliant! To be highly recommended

Really friendly place and great food. Just off Victoria Rd and a great choice of pastas, pizzas, risottos and authentic Italian dishes. Well worth a visit!

Second time at Pulcinella's and had the Zuchini starter again which is lovely. The Chicken Supreme and Sea Bream all delicious, John was very impressed so will be returning.

6 of us ate here at the weekend to celebrate 2 big birthdays. Had an early evening table & it was already really busy with a cosy buzzy atmosphere. We had a variety of starters & mains slight problem with one but this was rectified...

This is the most authentic place in the area, food is amazing and pizza chef is just amazing at what he does, if you want good quality and authenticity then visit this place, really is worth it.
