Great food, lovely ambient feel to this lovely place

This was a lovely place to go to a meal for our mother’s 60th birthday and retirement. Thank you so much to all the staff for helping us make the occasion special. There was a nice atmosphere, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here.

Love this place. Been a few times now and although the menu isn't extensive, the food they offer is great. Staff are friendly and happy to help. I am gluten and dairy free diet and they accommodate this in a few dishes. Good for children too. Will definitely be back.

The owner seems to be a person of few words, but pizza is great.

Nice place, steak was excellent, no choice of anything but salad with your meal, this could put me off returning. The Rose Pinot Grigio was poor in my view, but the Puglia Red was excellent for the price.

Good Italian food, decent veggie options. Garlic mushrooms with Garstang blue cheese, tasty, hot. Asparagus pesto risotto again tasty and hot. Service attentive. Arrived about 6pm Friday night, nice atmosphere and seated straight away we hadn't booked. Got very noisy towards 8pm with loud music and people talking, couldn't hear the person opposite! This was our second visit so may just attend a quieter night in the future.

The manager/ maitre ‘d’ was rude and I accommodating. Initially keen when he thought he was getting a large booking but when informed the party was smaller than anticipated he claimed the restaurant was now fully booked! Having dined at many Italian restaurants, this place is definitely one to avoid- unless you’re a big group spending lots of money!

We only just discovered this place. Food is great and prices are good value.

To be honest, the food here is first class. Proper Italian pizzas with flavours to die for. However, the atmosphere seems to clash. It's traditional Italian aesthetic with how they've decorated the seating area and surroundings is lovely, with also being able to see the kitchen. Plus, the toilets are very clean. However, the music and feel of the staff completely clashes with the authentic Italian feel it should have. And unfortunately, they tend to burn the outsides of the pizza. Other than that, it's a lovely place and I'm sure it's hit or miss.

Nice food, nice modern interior I'm sure they could take more money if they table checked and asked about desserts/coffees/extra drinks etc when they cleared. We would probably have had an extra drink or a coffee but they didn't seem interested.

Needed a quick evening meal after a very busy day. This place did exactly what was needed. Good selection of dishes. Reasonable looking prices and a small wine list. We had two starters and two Pasta dishes for the Tue to Thursday deal, only £18 per person. Great find and I will be going back.

We have been coming here since it very first opened I have never once thought to write a review! This is the best Italian in the area/ and mostly in the uk we would never go anywhere else, the food is absolutely beautiful we have had many meals here including some big party meals for birthdays and they have never lets us down the service is superb even when they are run of there feet. Couldn't recommend this place anymore! Well done guys Some photos I got the other week as I never take any as we just want to tuck in straight away!

The food was delicious. My first visit so I had to try the pasta I had a Sea food pasta dish absolutely gorgeous perfect pasta Shell fish all cooked to perfection with a lovely sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive

It was my second time back and it was a Monday night. They took our order and proofread it yet they still got our order wrong! I had the fungi penne and the sauce was lovely but unfortunately the penne wasn’t homemade. The music was far too loud and it was hard to hear for the elderly I was with. Maybe it was an off night, food was good but it wasn’t an amazing experience.

Extremely good quality food, authentic Italian cuisine that was truly delicious at good prices. Kids had pepperoni pizza and a kid portion of lasagne. Grown ups had a mushroom penne pasta, a calzoni and a salmon & prawn tagliatelle. All delicious. Highly recommend,

We went, as a family, for dinner. The atmosphere was lovely, very relaxed and hospitable. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and the customer service was excellent. Although busy as it was Friday night, we were not rushed and were given plenty of time between courses. The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye also, the décor is modern and fresh and location perfect. The complimentary sweets and lollies pleased the children. Thank you. We’ll be back for sure.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Nonna Carla. My girlfriend and I are vegan, and we agreed that these were among the best vegan pizzas we have had anywhere, absolutely delicious! Our only complaint was the total lack of vegan desserts, and while I know not many traditional Italian deserts are vegan, even some simple sorbet would have gone a long way. There was also no dairy free milk alternatives for coffee after our meal which was a disappointment (we normally go for oat milk). Would definitely recommend, but I will cross my fingers that if we were to return that the vegan offering would be a little broader, though very grateful for our fantastic pizza!

Came here with a friend for tea. We were seated really quickly and given menus. They explained they had a deal on for starter and a main for £17 and showed us the specials board. We just had soft drinks but unlike most places that give you small glasses they were really big glasses. We ordered a portion of mozzarella sticks and the goats cheese special to start and then 2 pepperoni pizzas with garlic mayo for main. Both courses were delicious. The mozzarella dippers were perfectly stringy and a good portion size with nice sauces. The pizza was baked to perfection, tasty sauce and toppings. The garlic mayo dip was so nice to dip crusts into. We couldn’t finish all of our food and they offered to box it up so we could take it home. When given the bill it came with some little sweets which was a nice touch. It was my first time here but I’d definitely visit again!

We just ordered from here for take away and me being a greedy sod I thought the pizza looked a bit small but the meat feast I got was absolutely banging. Really great ingredients, amazing taste and it definitely filled me up. I think I forgot what great food tastes like. This was hands down amazing and I definitely recommend going here. Very upset. I have been using this restaurant since moving here, nearly 2yrs ago, regularly for me and my family. On this occasion my Son went to pick the food up as we only live across the road. Within the order we got olives. These must have been tipped when putting in the paper bag carrying the main meals and the oil made the paper bag fall through, all the food in the paper bag ended up on the pavement near the shop. We took photos of the bag,food and then tidied up what we could. When going back to the restaurant to show pictures and explain the male worker tried to say we lied and the pictures aren’t enough he wanted the food out of the bin. We have never been so insulted. We spent a lot of money with this restaurant to be called treated like that over two meals.

First group to be seated on a Thursday evening and background music already a little loud to talk over by the time we left restaurant full and very noisy, however the food was excellent. We shared some starters as previous visit experience was that they were generous, beautiful salmon and prawn pasta dish followed by best I've ever had tiramisu. Friendly and attentive staff. Had a really fantastic meal last night. Garlic bread was the best we have ever had. Followed by stuffed garlic mushrooms. It was great that after having a large starter I was able to order a small portion of lasagne. All washed down with beautiful Italian Merlot. It was a really busy and buzzing environment and the service was really great. Definitely need to book to avoid disappointment.

Came for a family meal with 8 of us. The food was excellent and priced correctly. Please don't change anything!! Everyone enjoyed it.

Very disappointed... 2 pizzas take away ... Tried to charge £5 extra for takeaway ...that didn't happen... Meat feast was no feast ... 5 pieces of salami and 5 very thin slices of griddled sausage with some ham dumped on the middle ... The seafood one had 1 anchovy and what tasted like some cold tuna mush dumped in the middle and a few prawns ... Been meaning to try here for ages as we only live over the road but £25 was not worth it at all especially when you see the guy running to the coop for the ingredients.. I know co op is dear but not this dear...as much as I prefer to support local it would be better value driving to dominoes as they don't deliver in this area. Overall it's a no from 2 of us..

My wife and I booked for an early evening table. All the staff were very nice, the atmosphere was very good, service was first class, but most importantly, the food was of the highest quality, we both had a 3 course meal which was reasonably...

Food was brilliant. Had a couple of really delicious pizzas, served quickly and super tasty. Fairly loud environment, with dining room within a simple industrial shed (nothing to absorb sound) but food more than made up for it. We weren't rushed at all, all very relaxed - we struggled to get attention of waiting staff (partly because they were busy, partly because they just left us alone to enjoy our meal). Would definitely go again and have already recommended to family. Go, it's brilliant.
