Lakeside Kitchen, Hydrotherapy Pool & Sensory Room in Wyre

We hired the pool for an hour which I thought was at a reasonable price . It was heated and having it to ourselves was brilliant as we had a toddler with us had coffee and a cake afterwards which were delicious and fairly priced all in all a 5 star experience

Recently visited lakeside kitchen as we were at Moy Vets and was so pleasantly surprised a little haven tucked away. Was lovely to see a bit of nature and the kitchen was superb. Half expected it to be well overpriced, but no very reasonable considering my wallet was emptied at the vets. Will definitely pop in again next time im in the area even if it's just for a coffee at the lakeside. Pizza was one of the best I've ever had too.

We always visit this little place when we come up to see my mum. No matter what time of year it's always so welcoming. The food is good and changes quite regularly with a specials board. A different menu on Sundays, slightly more limited. Great place for coffee and cake as well, always a nice selection. There is seating available outside overlooking a fishing lake, so you can share your crumbs with the ducks and hens that roam about. We love it here x

The food as always is delicious, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is always relaxing.

The food was ok, probably average for the price, but the service was really poor - they had numerous waitresses so you'd expect it to be quite attentive, but they spent most of the time stood together chatting and ignoring customers, one even took our desert order, and served it to us whilst the dirty pots from our main meal that we'd finished 30 minutes earlier were still on our table, she just pushed them to the side so she could fit the deserts on! Pretty brainless. Also the manager is quite obnoxious, she was a touch old, so maybe has been in the industry a too long and become sour with age - first and last visit

Nice place and beautiful setting. Pity about the lack of cooked breakfast choice - poached eggs only! The eggs are poached with vinegar in the water which spoiled our meals. Full english and an eggs benedict (all eggs done in water with vinegar), with 2 coffees £25.70. In response to your long defensive posting. Simple fix, offer choice of fried or scrambled eggs with Heinz beans not a concoction of beans with onions. Check out service very slow, no issue with paying the menu prices but better if you had a table service checkout. We will not be back, many 5 star choices in the area.

Lovely cafe and heated pool for my client who is physically disabled. The place is very clean and a nice place to go for an escape from your usual dailey routine. Lake on view everything is perfect.

Call in today for breakfast for 12 of us and looked a very nice place until we started to order food thebreckfast was a sent breakfast not aloud to change for different things in fact the women serving was a bit skittish an as for the baked beans they had tomato’s in an onion the eggs was not cooked full of slim not cooked enough so charged us a lot of Money so not be going there again not satisfied at all

Went for breakfast yesterday morning and we went for lunch today. Fantastic place in a serene setting. Plenty of staff lovely menus good coffee and reasonable prices.

I would recommend this place to anyone its a fantastic setting overlooking a lake and you can rent accommodation for a holiday which gives you access to the swimming pool and hydrotherapy facilities

First time going to the Lakeside Bistro absolutely fantastic the food was fabulous and the service was excellent. The setting was also fabulous a little gem hideaway will definitely be going back.

A real gem - tucked away over Wyre.

It was overpriced. Everything crammed into one place. The reception in the bistro . It was noisy and cramped. Nothing on the afternoon tea was home made.

Charming Bistro in semi-rural location with excellent quality food and superb service. The Koi fish pond, hydro pool and small handicrafts for sale add a unique touch. Brickhouse Lane holiday lets on site. Parking can be a bit tight during busy times.

Friendly staff, beautiful location, good food and coffee

Had no idea this place existed, and what a place it is. The bistro food was lovely, its very modern, clean and well staffed. It was an easter menu when we went, but the normal menu looks very good, especially the pizzas. It's also dog friendly everywhere, which we always love. The Lakeside lodges and fishing look lovely, although I've not tried any of them. It's really is a hidden gem of a place. Worth a visit

Really quirkly and modern place and the staff are lovely. The air conditioning, along with the locally-made ice cream (really yummy) cooled us down in no time. There is a pond which is half outside and half inside and is full of very large carp. It's quite soothing watching them swim around. The toilets smelt really fresh and were very clean. Definitely worth a visit.

Have visited here on a number of occasions and been really happy with everything. My meal arrived today and it was cold. I took it to the counter, and advised I was more than happy to have same meal reheated - when one of waitresses tested it with her finger...not sure if I got same one back...think I did, as rice was cold by that time, and pitta was cold and soggy. Hope the curry was new after someone had touched it....

Asked waitress if I could have a small portion of full English. She went away & asked & came back with yes. Ordered 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 black pudding. Received 2 sausage, 2 bacon 1 egg & no black pudding. Then asked for black pudding. She came back with it & said it was left in the side in the kitchen. Then charged £10 for full English!!! Disgusted the way I was treated. Rude, inexperienced staff. Totally disgusted given the fact I had asked about smaller portion. Staff need some serious training. Breakfast items I had really were not that good. Certainly not value for money

We are only using the pool and the service is pretty bad. Although the pool temperature and the whole atmosphere were good, but other factors led to this rating. First the pool management decided to close the men’s changing/ toilet from the pool side and open it from the bistro side (the changing room/toilet had two doors one opens from the pool side and the other from the bistro side). My husband wanted to use the bathroom, so he had to leave our three year old child and leave the pool area to use the bathroom, luckily I was with him. He opened the door to have access from the pool as he found no sign showing that there are any problems with the bathroom/changing and the management again decided to lock it from the pool side without explaining or putting any signs. They also decided to remove the big changing trolly from the lady’s changing/ toilet which made it difficult to change the children. Very poor unexplained service.

The Staff and food were excellent!!. We sat outside and the surroundings were beautiful, would highly recommend the Lakeside Bistro. If you are ever in the area its a must you pay a visit. Only down side is I wish we lived nearer, as we live in Scotland.

We have been here several times for family events and & brunch. Yet again we were impressed with the pleasant and helpful staff and high quality of the food. My Eggs Benedict was delicious...we look forward to our next visit.

Just wow, never been until a week ago, oddly after living down the Road for nearly two decades... What a delight. Highly recommended, great fishing, amazing pizzas and the friendliest chicken I have ever met.

Fab place to eat and very child friendly. Food was great and staff helpful. Toy corner and fish pond to keep the kids entertained was a plus.

I came in for a breakfast service was amazing and the food was excellent sausage was the best I've ever had and the black pudding well its best of the best seeming it was Bury Blackpudding and I'm from Bury my self so was good to see a good quality piece of Blackpudding Take it this way if someone offered me 263.34 to tell them the worst part of the breakfast I would kindly refuse

We ate every day in the bistro. found the food to be of a good quality at reasonable prices, the staff were all pleasant and friendly, couldnt do enough for us, over all i rate this a 5 star,

Food fabulous staff great very attentive and nothing is too much for them.

I have visited this beautiful site a number of times. Each time I have attended the bistro it has been spotless, warm and welcoming. The food is of good quality and I have enjoyed each meal, they were also accommodating in serving a BLT even though not on the menu, as I enjoyed this when it was on their last menu. I have also popped in just for a dessert and coffee as their desserts are particularly good. I have not tried the Sunday lunch as yet but will be doing so in the very near future. They appear to work hard in providing a lovely place to visit and I have enjoyed it every time.

A bit hit and miss , needs a top quality chef if it is a bistro or lower the prices . Honestly I go twice a year and everything is perfect but nearly £15 for a burger 🙄 .

we pre ordered, we did not get all the food we asked for, we did not get a lot of food. we were a large group of over 20 but the food came out in bits some had nearly finished as some were still waiting. they promised us we will have the place to our self's this was not the case there were other people in the place as well. It cost a lot for each meal about 20 pound for a meal that could not have cost 5 to 10 pound at most over places i would NOT RECOMMEND this place unless you like to spend a lot for a little i will not go there again.pic shows the main meal we had a pudding that was ok

We had a full English breakfast here. The service was great, the prices reasonable and the surroundings and view over the lake were lovely. Will definitely be back.

Nice relaxed place, good menu and good bingo night

This place is amazing!! Fabulous setting, fabulous food, fabulous staff. Been twice in the last week. The pizza's, the burgers, chips, salads are incredible. There are many cottages here for people of any disability to stay at. There is a hydrotherapy pool here with qualified staff to assist not to mention the pool with some majestic Koi Carp. There is seating outside for those glorious warm days where you can eat outside on the banks of a lovely lake, which you can fish at. There are some great Perch to fish!. There are ducks, geese and heron to see too. I love coming here, such great staff and well worth a visit 👍👍👍

Not as good as it was, expensive and nothing special, won't be eating there again

The meal was good and i would have said id revisit however we waited 25mins and i tried to shout waitress twice to order dessert but nobody came. There only appeared to be 2 waitresses running round. Shame cos lovely place.

We love coming here as its just a lovely setting. On a nice day you can sit out by the lake which is so peaceful The menu is really varied and prepared fresh, we saw the vegetables arriving ! The food is lovely, no matter what you choose to have and the service is excellent, nothing was too much trouble

Just had my first visit to Lakeside Bistro with a friend for lunch. She is gluten free and had a lovely GF sandwich. I had a prawn sandwich and we shared sweet potato fries. Two lattes. All delicious. We even got chocolate when we got the bill. Nice touch. I would like to say a big thank you to Donna who provided such lovely service. A young lady who loves her job and loves being with people. You made our visit even more special.

We were looking forward to visiting and eating in this place as highly recommend to us by friends. We booked in advance. The young girl who took our name was more asleep that us at 9:15 in the morning. Not an early raiser then. We arrived at the appointment time. Staff was busy as there was a birthday celebration going on, fair enough. Waited for a while, then we were taken to our table,..., no menus given, nor drinks ordered. Fifteen minutes later, oh, dear, no menus!!! Or drinks. Finally, the former were given and the later ordered. Food arrived, no super smashing presentation, no extra bits, no attractive colours. A slightly better than average food. Would we be going again? The jury is out. The location is brilliant and favour by many. Hope it will get better.
