Pizza had about 4 pizzas worth of cheese on it, slices weren't evenly cut, and was loaded with grease. Only managed to have one slice. The chips and garlic bread were nice tho
There is a spirit from American Graffiti movie !!! The Owner is Laurie from American Graffiti, but getting older. The kitchen lady has added pea to my fish and chips although I have rejected, but who cares !
Such a lovely all round evening, the staff were so available and professional, the facility is completely authentic and in pristine condition, the stringed orchestra was absolutely impeccable. We were treated by my Daughter and future Son in Law and couldn't have a more perfect evening. The food was 1st class but the main portion was too big ... as if that's a complaint! Stands up as one of the best nights out in Wirral.
Never have I had tofu that was rock hard due to the talents of the chef, absolutely awful food and arrived after an hour. Have they changed management as I will never go here ever again, AVOID you might as well through money away, I would have been happier just eating beans on toast.
Well done Happy Kitchen the worst eating experience I've ever had!
Dropped in for a takeaway. Ordered lamb tikka which was very dry and chewy.
Main meal lamb vindaloo only 3 small pieces of lamb and the rest bulked out with potatoes. Very, very poor, won’t be going back.
Ordered, over an hour later called to chase as it was late, they lied and said it was on its way, waited another hour.
Don't lie about your delivery times, extremely unprofessional and ruined a meal in we were both so hungry once it finally arrived.
Utterly useless, avoid they shouldn't offer delivery because 2 hours is unacceptable!!
I’m 58 yers old , and I think that’s the most gorgeous meal I have ever eaten, thank you so much . I’m not one for commenting but thank you to all and your team 10/10 ❤️

This is the only chippy ill ever order food from. Salt and Pepper Tofu, friend rice and veg spring rolls are amazing. As someone who's orders here every other week they always provide really tasty food. 😋
It was lovely to find this gem of a pub. I say gem because it is still a pub before anything else. The old bar area is wonderfully traditional with NO modern distractions, yet the restaurant area has been tastefully updated within an atmospheric setting. The food was excellent, and our real ales well kept. A beautiful garden and friendly, with-it management/staff topped everything off. Just one small caveat: prices are on the expensive side. However, if that's what it takes to be a model of how pubs can thrive in the modern world without losing their traditional charm and purpose, then so be it.
Lovely meal with the family. Great food from starters to desert, atmosphere, clean, warm and relaxed, and great service with friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too. We will all definitely visit again soon.
