Captain Tony's Pizza and Pasta Emporium in Wirral

Pizza had about 4 pizzas worth of cheese on it, slices weren't evenly cut, and was loaded with grease. Only managed to have one slice. The chips and garlic bread were nice tho

Captain Tony's have always made the best pizzas in town, and their new vegan pizza did not disappoint! Same old great taste, but without the dairy - totally recommended! 😃

We absolutely love the food from here. Highly recommend the pizzas and buffalo wings. The fries are scrumptious too .

Spent over fifty pounds on food and it went in the bin except for the chips , The 1/4 cheese burgers had no taste to them at all, they where just dry and tasteless. The pasta was terrible ,no tomato taste to it, just bland blobs of meat. Never again.

Ordered a takeaway from here last night to be delivered to our car at the Woodside drive in and it was spot on. Pizza was so fresh and tasty. Garlic bread was lovely. Chips were hot and crispy. Will definetly order again.

Bought hubby a takeaway Pizza which he tells me was very tasty , good value , prompt and helpful staff . Card machine if needed

Absolutely great pizza, had primavera 9"", was really good, best pizza I have had. My husband really enjoyed his well and. Great value for money.

Needed some dinner after a 3 hour coach journey from Gateshead so checked TripAdvisor to see it this nearby pizza place was good and saw it got good reviews so decided to purchase a takeaway. I went for a Vegetable Pizza with Brocolli and Sweetcorn on it and enjoyed it. I prefer Domino's pizzas but this place is not bad at all so do come on over.

Foods great, a lot of choice for the whole family, prices are great and the staff are best part. The staff all have a really positive attitude and they work really hard. We love Captain Tony’s

I love the pizza from here, my go to order is always the Mediterranean garlic with added ham, the sauce is so tasty! The fries are always fresh too and they have a great selection of sides. On this order we had the captains chicken bites, excellent quality chicken and very crisp breadcrumbs with a choice of dips, sour cream is my favourite. With every order we get we always have to have the coleslaw it's so creamy and yummy!

This place does incredible food at really good prices! Wouldn't go anywhere else! Always delivered quickly and such lovely staff in store!

I've eaten from here many many times and the food has always been spot on. The manager is so lovely and friendly. I've moved away from the area now and haven't found pizza like it. I'll happily make the trip back for a Captain Tony's!

Many a visit to Captain Tony's! This place is superb. Pizzas are amazing, so are deserts too! Not had any pasta there yet but told its good too by my dad! This is genuinely the best pizza place about. Always generous with ingredients and nice family running it. Cheers guys.

Good takeaway pasta, Spag bol, is lovely especially with the added garlic bread.Good homemade food and good delivery

I have used Captain Tonys for years and up until recently I would have given 5 points - no question. However in recent months things have started to go downhill a bit. The famous pan pizzas are getting thinner each time i go and the toppings have changed in some instances (for example had a meat treat recently and teh sausage was definitely different ti normal and the pepperoni much smaller in size. Don't get me wrong they are still nice but they used to be awesome and there is now not much to distinguish them from other pizza places.

Must have ordered from them 50 times and never had any problem. Food is always on time, piping hot and delicious Highly recommended

Ordered two pizzas from the Liscard branch, one vegetarian without cheese. Order arrived earlier than anticipated which was good, unfortunately both had cheese on. Called them back and they apologised for the mistake and will replace. OK. 40 minutes later new pizza arrives, driver leaves and open the box to see no cheese but now pepperoni in place of. Sigh. Pick off pepperoni as don't want to another 40 mins and try to eat around the parts that don't taste of unwanted sausage. Poor effort.

1st time ordering, they sent the wrong order so I rang, nothing they could do at the time but gave us £10 to spend next time we rang, when I rang the next time, they managed to get the order right but everything was freezing cold and the garlic pizza bread just had huge chunks of raw garlic in to top it off the potato wedges weren't even cooked, still raw potato in the middle. if they tell you it's going to be a long wait don't order the food I'm guessing ours had been sitting there a while before it got delivered. .........not happy and will not be ordering again

The best Pizza on the Wirral bar none. Outstanding. Every time I recommend them, people always go back. Cant fault it.

Cant fault the food only ever had pizza though not tried pastas etc , staff always friendly too. Prices aren't bad

I love the food here, and order here a lot!! Sometimes more than once a week. It's great value food for when you can't be bothered to cook!

Compare to Pizza Hut and dominos it is cheaper and food is absolutely fantastic especially chicken wings with buffalo sauce. Yummy yummy And lots of cheese on pizzas ;)

Great value for money when you can't be bothered cooking on a Friday night!! Never had a complaint about their food, pizzas are brilliant.

They know us by name and by orders! The kids cheese & tom is delicious as it comes with `more` of that gorgeous tomatoe base that you just want more of! all over pizzas are lovely, had the occasional evening were the pizza and chips have been overcooked but thats rare and clearly on a manic day! the chiili is superb! as is the spag bol and I highly recommend them both. Great desserts! and good value with very pleasant staff all round from chef to delivery! wont stop using their services!
