Zinga in Wirral

Delivery order was wrong, food was cold and extremely greasy!! I do have pics!! Never again will we order from Here!! Even the Delivery driver said it was bad!! £42 for utter rubbish

Absolutely awful food and service! We ordered food and it was absolutely disgusting and there was grease sitting on the top of our food, the meat was very tough and chewy the somasos tasted dirty even our poppadoms were awful, we rang up politely to tell them about our food and the man on the other end of the phone was nothing but rude and aggressive back to us, my advice would be to never order from this place! I will not be giving my service to this Indian takeaway ever again

Relaxed atmosphere all round good experience

First off they sent the wrong starter, and there was a chutney dip missing for the poppadoms. I called to complain and to be fair, they did send over the replacements pretty quickly. The food was okay and the portions were decent, but the tandoori lamb chop starter was swimming in oil. Not a great first impression, a real shame as I had higher expectations for Zinga.

Haven't been here since before covid. How glad we did, the service was good. The taste and quality of the food are great. Also, the interior makeover was lovely.. again, another tasty meal with such lovely staff....

Popped in as haven't been for such a long time. Restaurant was fairly full, and atmosphere quite jolly. All tables were clean and well spaced. Shown to table and menu provided. Owner reminded us that they were unlicenced and if alcohol was required the off licence near by was open. The staff were very attentive. Meal was really good, well spiced and really flavoursome. Prices very competitive. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Zinga.

Been coming here for years, haven't been for a few months because we had been disappointed with the food. Glad to say it's back to the standard the Zinga has produced for years. BYO beer as well...

BEEN GOING HERE FOR YEARS, AWFUL LAST FEW TIMES. OWNER WAS RUDE WANTED CASH ONLY, PULLED A FACE AND QUESTIONED WHY I WANTED TO PAY BY CARD. FOOD NOT GREAT AND NAAN BREADS NEED COOKING PROPERLY.

Used zinga for a few years but very disappointed tonight,bhajis where cold and burnt,nan bread was wwrong and very expensive,won't use again I should of dined at a restaurant it would of been cheaper

I ordered, via just eat, 3 different main courses and 2 of them tasted the same. All of them looked like watery soup that had a few pieces of meat in. No onions, tomatoes just red water. If it hadn't been so late I would have sent them back. An absolute disgrace to deliver this and think it acceptable. Have you got a new 'chef' I use the term generously.

Probably the worst Indian I've ever had. Two dishes, lamb jalfrazi and lamb achari. Dried up rock solid lamb pieces in both dishes and the sauces were indistinguishable from each other. Disgusting.

New favourite indian. In fact… the best I have had. Nice flavoursome curry and meat is tender and not fatty and delivery time is always fast! I don’t like too much spice but the Balti is lovely and tasty instead of just too hot like some others

Joyous, as ever. Naga Chicken my death row meal! Delivery takes half the time their website indicates - yup, joyous.

Ordered takeout for first time from here due to positive reviews. Sadly we were disappointed. Starter of King Prawn Puri differed is size, bread was greasy and lacked any flavour. Main meals were ok but not great. Again I feel flavour lacked in both of our dishes. We don’t recommend this take out at all

We have had good food here on a couple of occasions and a very poor takeaway on a separate occasion. Nonetheless we gave it a second chance.Last night the service from the elderly gentleman was disgraceful.My husband is ill which I told the oldest waiter/manager/owner when we came ( cancer) so wouldn't be able to eat.Nonetheless we ordered ( slowly ) 2 starters and one main and one naan - cost £22.00At one point the older gentleman informed me that this is a restaurant, you can't just order one meal.In fact the cost of two meals minus the starters would have been about the same.This is rude hostile behaviour and upset me so much that i told them to give me the main as a takeaway.The younger staff have more manners and whilst busy are fair. To top it all I was violently ill from the starter last night and the meal went uneaten.Bad taste all round.Obviously we will vote with our feet.

Have always used Zinga takeaway with free delivery. Fabulous food all round. We’ve tried quite a few meals off their menu and each one 5*. Service fabulous, always on time and very polite staff.Recently, post Covid, we’ve been to the restaurant with friends and alone as a couple. Their teatime special is fantastic value for money & food as gorgeous as ever. It’s definitely our Indian restaurant of choice. If you havn’t been I’d highly recommend.

The meal was good and the staff were friendly but although the staff generally wore masks, they were around their necks and not over their faces.

Been using Zinga for 7 years. Trying to support during lockdown as much as possible, the business is great, and relies on local support (obviously). My advice is to try some of the different dishes on the menu. When I've ordered the curry-house staples (garlic bhuna, madras, mixed tikka etc) I've been impressed. But when I've ordered the specials (same price basically), I'm thinking of a restaurant at the top of its game. So I recommend you have the lamb or chicken tikka chilli massala, the Rushan Morris Doniya (which is really something, garlicky but mild), the Lamb bombay naga and maybe the half tandoori chicken (which comes with rice, and upgrade the sauce to madras heat, which is lovely). Also, the king prawn tandoori main is very good (with the really big juicy prawns). Zinga deserve your support if you are on the Wirral!

Super food and delivery is free over £10!

Excellent quality apart from lamb starter which was tasty but a little tough. We had chicken Bhuna, king prawn with peppers and tangerine(fantastic) and lamb tandoori with a great selection of sauces and dips, light fluffy garlic naans bhargis and pilau rice all excellent. Will definitely order from here again. 3 meals and 2 starters fed 4 of us easily.

This is my 2nd review of Zinga, they are worthy of another excellent rating review. 20 minutes delivered piping hot from placing the order online. The food is very good quality and the only Indian takeaway I use in the Wirral. All the staff are super friendly. Well done guys.

Zinga has been updated during 'lockdown'..and they have improved the atmosphere. The service and quality is as good as ever. I Always enjoy zinga👍

I first tried Zinga during lockdown as I wanted to support local business that maybe feeling impact.I am so glad I did!!The food has been consistently exceptional and the delivery safe with contactless wave and a smile from a comfortable distance.I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.

used zinga regularly before lockdown and now weekly treat, consistantly high quality and excellent service. tonights meal exceeded our expectations my vindaloo sauce perfectly complementing my biryani for an exciting meal. my wifes lamb tikka saag balti with a plain balti medium sauce also just right.Look forward to our next weekly treateric + beryl

We are getting food delivered from here quite often and i must say we have never been dissapointed! Tasty and not too espensive. My favorites are madras and pathia. I must point out that food became extra tasty in last few months too. Would recommend to friends. Thanks

Zinga menu offers a good range of dishes which my order was well varied I think without exception everyone enjoyed their meals and side dishes, breads were disappointing but overall the meal was very good.

Been ordering from and visiting here for years and they have never let us down! There are SO many curry houses/takeaways on the Wirral and this is honestly the best of all - food is always amazing, service is super-quick and staff are just lovely. Would totally recommend to everybody. :)

Visited during the week they have a special menu portions somewhat small but food was tasty. Service was good. However, the waiters do need to pay a bit more attention to the customers as we had to ask for our desert which is part of the meal as the waiter had forgotten to bring it for us

Myself and my wife visited Zinga last weekend and I can honestly say this has to be the best Indian restaurant on the Wirral and we’ve been to a lot of them.

first visit - excellent food beautifully presented and great service. sadly not local to home but will definately visit when in the area.

We didnt wait long for our starters or main meals, food was tasty & hot. Staff were very pleasant. Only problem we had my son was given the wrong starter & the main meal I got lamb dish instead of chicken and my son got chicken instead of lamb. I would give this restaurant another chance

12 to 16 of us regularly visit here for a lads curry night, the service and food is excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble, I would highly recommend this restaurant either eat-in or take-out for top notch food

Hi we were invited here for a friend's birthday meal. My husband I I have been before so knew what to expect. The service and food was fabulous with plenty on the plate so don't over order. The only thing to remember is that it hasn't got a drinks licence so take your own although there are nearby shops that sell alcohol.

We arrived to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The chairs were a tight fit for some of us as they were sat with a pillar behind them and once sat in their chair couldn’t move! We ordered poppadums which had a strange oily taste & I then ordered a Chicken Special Tawa. I found the meat was tough and chewy. I’ve only ever eaten a Tawa when it’s been slow cooked and really tender so this was a real disappointment. Most of us ate our meals which could only be described as average, cheap and cheerful.

Thought I'd try Zinga for the first time and what a mistake. Mixed kebabs to start....a mix of meats all in a red sauce...urgh....zero heat and flavour....and the chicken chat 'the worst I've ever eaten' declared the wife, it did look awful, pale yellow sauce and a greasy pancake again with zero heat. Chicken shaslick was a little better if only because it couldn't get any worse but again so so poor for heat and flavour. The lads Madras and masala were no better and the nan breads were made clearly without any care whatsoever, pale and tasteless. I have eaten curries form all over and this was without doubt not even deserving of a 1 out of 5. Avoid.

Visited recently to give it a go as I have driven past for years without trying. Plus point is the bring your own drinks however it's a shame this doesn't extend to bring your own food!

Recently went here for a family get together. Great choice as you can take your own drink, which really reduces your spend. Friendly service and good choice of meals from the menu. Everyone had the poppadoms with pickles, my wife and I went for a set meal for two again this is great value. No rush, we took our time, it was a Friday evening and middling with numbers which does add to the atmosphere. Curries are not everyone’s taste but we enjoyed our choice and would recommend an evening here to chat with family or friends.

We had booked as it was a large family celebration. It was a Monday night and I expected it to be quiet.. We were the only family dining in! But... the staff were very friendly and welcoming from when we arrived till the end. In the week they have a set menu for £11.95 which offered a great assortment of dishes to choose from. Whilst deciding we were offered poppodoms with various dips, the waiters were attentive, advising us on the array of dishes.I had mixed kebab for starters and chicken shirashi (can't remember actual spelling!) It was a tomato based dish. All our dishes came well presented and very tasty. Throughout the evening the staff approached us making sure everything was ok, we informed them it was a birthday celebration, at the end of the meal we were offered coffee or ice cream, the staff came out with a candle in the ice cream for the birthday boy presented in a coconut shell! Which made it a personal touch. In general, I would recommend this restaurant.

Over the years I’ve visited many, many Indian Restaurants, Takeaways all over the UK. Sorry to say but I was extremely disappointed by a Curry I ate from Zinga recently. Although the Chicken was good quality and well cooked, the Sauce, Gravy was tasteless. I ho estly wondered whether it was Chef’s Night Off and frankly, it was a bit dear price wise. Staff very pleasant but will be taking my Custom back to many far better Indian Restaurants in future.

This used to be fave place until found indira but sadly that closed tried a few and came back here. I will regret this. Food bland, missed off samosas which paid for. The mixed starter had no bhaji or samosa. My tandoori chilli and garlic chicken just starter meat and a few cooked chillis on top. Bombay potatoes so over cooked. Wont be back and my once fond memory of here gone

Have visited this local Indian a few times. Staff very friendly but not impressed by food each time I have been. This will be the last visit unless quality of food changes.

This was our first takeaway from this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. The service was quick and friendly and the meals very tasty from the poppadom to the naan bread, the chicken dupiaza to the butter chicken. We were also given complimentary Bombay potatoes. The portions are very generous too. We'll definitely be going back for more.

We had lovely take away from Zinga recently. Very fresh and full of flavour. Also free bombay potatoes were a nice suprise. Thank you. We will order again soon!

Friendly helpful staff and nice food

Absolutely disgusting meal offered our money back but refused it as it's not about the money this next pic is the chicken chat en puree. How vile. Inedible. The main wasn't much better. Straight into the bin. Waste of hard earned money. And not very pleasant manager.

We've ordered two takeaways on the recommendation of someone we know. Both times the currys were bland and tasteless. We ordered a chicken tikka korai which is usually a fairly spicy dish, and even on their menu it states so. But not ours.. there was no heat whatsoever, just very mild blandness on both occasions. We thought it might be a one off the first time, but apparently not. We wanted to give this place a go as its nearer our home, but we'll be going back to the Rhui Balti in future.

If its top Indian food you are after then this is the place.

We had a lovely takeaway meal on Saturday night,it was delivered very quickly,well within half an hour,the food was all piping hot and delicious,another good point the salad to go with the starters was really fresh and crisp.We will definitely be using this restaurant again,forgot to say VERY good value !! :-)

Our friends recommended we went here for an evening. My husband loves Indian food and nothing is too hot but me I am a fussy nightmare and don't normally try foods that aren't my favourite....
