Provided platters of sandwiches and sausage rolls for a family funeral and kindly took them to the venue for us. Everybody commented on how delicious it was

I love going to Deli shops and ordering sandwiches to try. I recently moved in to the area and have wanted to visit the Deli mentioned for ages. I asked my husband to go yesterday (10th July 2023). I ordered a brown bin lid with Roast Pork and Stuffing. I had lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beetroot and salad cream and it was absolutely delicious. I will be ordering from there again in future. They have a wide range of meats and fillings for sandwiches and lots of delicious cakes to eat too. Everyone should go to this proper Deli and order a sandwich or pre made pizza full to the brim of fillings.

Ordered two sandwich platters of which were varied and platter of sausage rolls really nice very fresh and plentiful.

Oh boy, let me tell you about this ham cheese salad and mayonnaise sandwich I just had! It was an absolute delight for my taste buds. The combination of the salty ham, creamy cheese, crunchy salad, and tangy mayo was simply magical. I mean, who would have thought that putting salad in a sandwich could be so delicious? It's like having a healthy meal and comfort food at the same time. And the mayo just ties everything together perfectly, adding that extra zing to every bite. I could go on and on about this sandwich, but I don't want to bore you with my gushing. All I can say is that if you haven't tried a ham cheese salad and mayonnaise sandwich yet, you're missing out on one of life's simple pleasures. So go ahead, treat yourself to this amazing creation, and thank me later

I recently had the pleasure of trying the two hard boiled eggs from the smorgasbord, and let me tell you, they were eggs-traordinary! The eggs were perfectly cooked, with a firm yet creamy texture that was simply egg-cellent. They were so delicious, I found myself cracking up with joy after every bite. I was over-easy-d with the quality of these eggs, and it's no yolking matter when I say they were the highlight of my day. If you're egg-cited to try something new, I highly recommend these eggs-traordinary hard boiled eggs. You won't be disappointed!

These guys have the most amazing binlids, the ham they use is always absolutely beautiful and fresh, the batches always taste fresh too, these are fresh daily, you have to be quick so they don’t run out. I would say Usually by around 2pm they have none left. A couple of times staff have been a little bit snappy with me but they’re only human and for the most part they are really happy, helpful and chatty. Overall it’s a really great place to eat. P.s. I wish they would tell me who their meat suppliers are though, I would love to use same supplier for my business but they won’t tell me who it is lol. X

Called today 17/11/22 I had the chicken pasta presto and my husband had steak and onion sandwich and chucky chips. We would recommend it the food was delicious and the pasta was like you would get in Italian. The staff were very friendly and really welcomed us both.

(Gutted to be writing this about a small business because it's only one person who is the problem but there's no email address to contact them privately.) I visited for the first time today with 2 people who go regularly and highly recommended it. We were served by a blonde lady with a ponytail who acted like we were a burden for interrupting her conversation about somebody being bi-sexual and slating what coat they were wearing which she continued while we stood at the counter with a 1 year old. Nothing was labeled and there was no visable menu so we had to ask what fillings there were which she was clearly unhappy about, snappy and rushing me to make a decision. Then asks us twice is she only doing one sandwich which I said yes to as the others would pay seperately. She said 'am I only doing one sandwich or what??' which we had already answered twice. There was only one other customer in the shop who was being served by the other lady so I don't know why she was being so abrupt. She then says I can't pay on card because I'd not spent enough, it wasn't displayed anywhere so I don't know why she said it so rudely, no customer service or manners at all. I paid and walked out quickly followed by my two friends who are regular customers but they said she'd made them feel so uncomfortable that they would go somewhere else for lunch! The sandwich was lovely and great value for money but as a first impression of customer service I definitely won't be back!

Fantastic little sandwich shop. They make the sandwiches in front of you. Brilliant selection, cakes, snacks. Freshly made pizza. Staff always friendly. Bit hard to find parking to nip in. My favourite sandwich shop for a takeaway sandwich.

Lovely little place often go for butties / sausage rolls or cakes. But today they had these amazing little home made pizza things. They were so delicious Can u make more of these? And also a vegetarian one if poss? Xx

Freshly made, while you wait and watch, we'll filled sandwiches - a real treat to eat. With hot and cold drinks and luscious cakes the Smorgasbord provides excellent value lunches, picnics and also does a splendid outside catering service from their very clean premises, served by friendly staff.

Good place to get a fresh sarnie - made in front of you and stuffed full of whatever filling/salad you want. Good value - and much nicer than the limp offerings in supermarkets. Nice staff too.

Good selection equal to many City Centre places. Be early or they can run out of options for bread. Does mean what they have is fresh

Omg had a coronation chicken salad bin lid from here today....one word...amazing! And soooooo filling! The lady who served me was lovely too and helpful. Will defo go back

Its a deli takeaway. They serve a range of takeaway food, meals & sandwiches. The quality is always top notch. Personally, I tend to use The Smorgasbord for pasties & pies.....their Traditional Pasty is superb, the pastry so perfect, and the filling always so fresh and tasty. Service is polite, if slow. But patience is a virtue.

Staff are brilliant, always friendly and will always have a chat. I use the Smorgasbord regularly for lunch if I'm working from home and haven't been disappointed yet.

Regular lunch time haunt, where you can get salads, sandwiches, pasties, soup and cakes, all served by incredibly friendly staff. Exceptionally busy lunch time destination. Great value for money, though prices can fluctuate. Food and fresh produce is available to be taken away, however stay away from the cakes or you'll find yourself coming back time and time again. Great fresh bread, which you can get filled by a variety of sliced meats or multi-coloured fillings . The made to order Salad boxes are also very nice. Just check the fillings prior to order for availability and quality...

Lovely butties! It can be quite pricey, but you do get a lot of bang for your buck! Great range of fillings and lovely, nasty cakes for after!!!

Had a lovely Chinese chicken wrap and felt like going an getting another one it was that nice. Every time I go in a get nice lady's taking my orders . Was handy I parked outside the India couple doors up it was so easy an fast to just grab a snack . ☕️

Freshly prepared and yummy, can ask for own choice of sandwiches and batches and rolls which are made infront of you. Yummy

I've used Smorgasbord to cater for our staff training on many occasions, they usually cater for 25 - 40 people and never disappoint. Portions are generous, fresh and well presented. I always receive excellent feedback from attendees. I'd always recommend.

I have some food intolerances, so I had to ask the staff about what I could and couldn't have off the counter. They went out of their way to help me and i was very pleased with the sandwich that was freshly prepared for me,

I used to visit here regular back in the day but the last time i went was the last ever...service is poor at best of times but food was ok now the salad was awefull and meat was off colour my wife got tuna and the bread she was given was stail i hate giving bad reviews but its been several times in a row its gone in the bin never again cakes are ok tho ....

Beautiful selection for a staff treat buffet, with good quality ingredients used. Every element was delicious. Will definitely use again.

I believe that smorgasbord is a very nice friendly café. The workers were all kind to me and the food quality was great. I will definitely be there again soon!
