The Coffee Mill in Wirral

There is a spirit from American Graffiti movie !!! The Owner is Laurie from American Graffiti, but getting older. The kitchen lady has added pea to my fish and chips although I have rejected, but who cares !

I come here a couple of times a month with my mum and children. Food is lovely as are the ladies that work there. Highly recommend the breakfasts and omelettes.

Sat and ate a full breakfast (with toast) and due to the small portions and being pregnant I was obviously still hungry so I asked to order an additional toast with a side of jam and they refused as they couldn’t make me toast even though I’d just had it on my breakfast! Not impressed at all and walked out still hungry!

Quizás esto es una buena cosa ya que ahora puedo mencionar también que el servicio en el molino de café es perfecto, consistentemente 10/10 Estamos siempre rota en lo que a la orden, los sándwiches son increíbles ... el desayuno es muy buena relación calidad-precio. Yo siempre pedir un café latté ir con el desayuno, papas fritas y una cola Light. Nunca hemos tenido una mala comida, las mesas están limpias y el servicio con una sonrisa. El propietario debe ser un gran tamaño queen ventilador como usted siempre oyes cantando en el fondo ... y no hay nada malo con eso! Gracias por el desayuno perfecto, esperamos veros muy pronto.

Desayunamos y quedé muy impresionado. No era mucha grasa, no había grasa en el tocino selección de pan integral o blanco. El precio era muy razonable. El lugar no lo hicieron, t olor de fritos. La señora que servía era muy amable y servicial. Podrá probar el almuerzo allí.

This is a lovely little coffee shop which has the most lovely staff!! The food is always lovely and fresh and they do the best hot chocolate in town!! The prices are very reasonable as well!! Highly recommended!?

Lovely food, especially the butter they used on the toast. Friendly atmosphere, but staff are noticeably bored through quiet patches. I wasn't prewarned about the tap water fee until after it was entered into the till, so then felt obliged to pay for that. I'll go back again, like I said, the butter is delicious.

Ate here a few times now, we are new to area..can't fault it..warm pleasant atmosphere, always obliging, excellent choice menu. High standards maintained, by the always approachable pleasant owner 'Karen' recommended to anyone seeking a reasonably priced meal any time of the day...

Our family have been going here for several years to meet my Nan for breakfast, usually on a Saturday. The staff are always helpful and look out for my Nan.

Although we live only about 15 minutes away on foot, this was actually our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last! In short, my wife and I echo the sentiments of other reviewers about this cafe/coffee shop. Attentive and friendly service, fantastic fresh, homemade food and phenomenal value. There are some nice, subtle touches, the decor is very clean and modern and the homemade cakes and scones are wonderful. We left fully satisfied! Very highly recommended - a real little gem on our doorstep.

Have been going to this cafe for years. A great cafe with great food. Best value for money without compromising on quality. Always made to feel welcome. Anyone who hasn't been needs to go. Hoping to try their afternoon tea soon!

My wife and are friends ,we visit these premisses twice this month and travel in from chester. i must say what a beautiful and clean establishment since being refurbished,but awaiting for fish and chips was so long aswell as sitting in, the coldest Cafe i have ever been in.we had to cancel our order and go elsewhere,the lovely young lady who served us i think her name is pamela was so apologetic to us,for waiting,but i did say only 2 weeks ago we waited nearly 40 minutesfor our food.

In town I stopped their for a nice coffee for a treat to relax. The staff was helpful and polite serving you and gives you the drinks as well. The coffee was hot and excellent anyway. I shall be back again soon

This by far the best cafe in birkenhead. I have been a regular costomer in the shop for about 15 years. I love it its very freindly and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly The food is fantastic and the shop is cleaned to a very high standard. I would recomend this cafe to anyone who visits the shopping centre.

We have been to this cafe for over 10 years which has recently been redecorated and modernised to a very high standard. The food is excellent at reasonable prices with a good menu and the staff have a smile and word for everyone, especially children. When we were there last we were quite impressed seeing the staff cleaning the tables and chairs even underneath every day, we are not surprised they have 5 stars for hygiene. The train station is a five minute walk away from The Coffee Mill and Birkenhead's excellent shopping centre. We recommend this cafe to everyone.
