The best restaurants in Wirral North West

Ordered a vegan pad Thai for main meal… got a dish with egg in it! I double checked if it was vegan… server replied yes… then I started looking through it and could tell it definitely was egg! He took it away and it got remade but seriously.. do t advertise vegan dishes when you clearly don’t know what vegan means! Husband was happy with his at least!

Had a couple of take aways from here and found the food very good. Nice and hot, spring rolls some of the best I’ve tasted. Will be trying more different dishes in the future.

Very underated, drinks in paper cups, tables dirty had to ask for a cloth to clean and we were given a serviette to do it ourselves,the place wasn't even busy staff sat at table chatting with each other. Had to go back and ask for cake(which was very average)which had been ordered with drinks, no apology. Definitely won't be going again

Great experience from the outset; service, freshness, personal touch, all excellent. I really can't recommend Alley Cats highly enough.

Boss took me to have a Very nice bacon sausage and egg sandwich would go definitely again it was delicious very welcomeing as well

I went for the sandwich of the week: which was the Roast beef on a stone bread baguette with mustard mayo, parmesan & pink pickled onions and when I tell you it was divine believe me. I called up to order it and it was ready for when I arrived to pick it up! Everyone in the shop are really friendly also. I've recommended it to all my mates and they have been in since I was there. I'm gonna go for Lunch again today as it was lovely! High recommend this to anyone that want to feel good food or even a nice sandwich rather than the crappy meal deals at Tesco or Asda.

This is our favourite cinema . Love to take a coffee and beer into the theatre especially when watching longer films! So glad this venue is local!!

The place we planned to go was closed so we walked round the corner and found this hidden gem Great atmosphere service and amazing food

Best chips and mushy peas ever. It was perfect in every way and I am very happy. I just wish that I didn't live 50 miles away.

Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely smoothies that’s what keeps making me go back now. Great small plate options for kids. The gent serving us this morning was lovely, really kind and helpful and very chatty before we were leaving. We will definitely be back. Delicious food and lovely staff. Also the chef is fantastic the eggs were perfect.

Ordered food from here and we never will again!!! Sent us undercooked chicken which was in a watery sauce that had no taste, ( I have pictures of this!!) the prawns also had no taste. Put us off the entire order just in case something else wasn’t cooked properly so we have now had to spend more money buying something else!! Called the restaurant only to be told they’d call me back because the ‘connection was bad’ and I received a call from a private number which rang me once and didn’t even give me the opportunity to answer!! It’s a good job we looked at the food before eating it as someone with poor eyesight might not have noticed and become very sick! Very poor food and service.

Friendly staff & fantastic service.

Friendly staff and food was delicious, I had smoked salmon omelette and my friend had a breakfast, it was reasonably priced and the waitress couldn’t do enough for us especially with having a friend that likes to swop his breakfast items around, thank you we will definitely be back.

My husband popped in this morning and ordered a breakfast for himself and a tuna Mayo and cheese jacket potato for me, now we’ve been here before and the jacket potato was lovely last time (my husband needed to run over to the shop to get tin of tuna though as the cafe didn’t have any in..) but this time it was just an absolute joke- I opened it and it was a tiny potato, no salad, with cheese and a tin of dry tuna just tipped over the top.. no Mayo in sight.. so dry it went in the bin.. clearly Gaynor couldn’t be bothered this morning. Very disappointed, won’t be back again.
