Mcdonalds are what they are, this is one of the better ones. Prompt service and hot fresh food. The downstairs dining area was busy, but there was plenty of seating upstairs, which was clean and tidy. The condiment stations were organised too, which is a rarity nowadays. Overall a pleasant experience.

Placed a takeaway order and the order was delivered quickly and was hot. We ordered beef in Cantonese sauce and the sauce was watery and had no taste at all. We have ordered this before and it has been very hit and miss but tonight was the worst that we have had.

We went in for a quick sausage roll and chicken bake. When we got back to the car, the chicken bake was freezing cold, so my friend went back and asked for a hot one. She was refused and told āthis is not a hot food placeā which is in fact a lie. They also were extremely rude to my friend, who suffers with anxiety, causing her to tear up and just accept a sausage roll as a refund, while also making her pay an extra 65p for a sausage roll. Not to mention there was also a hair in her sausage roll. We work in customer service ourselves and we know how hard it can be when a customer complains; however that does not give them the right to treat my friend like this.

Came for my partners birthday yesterday as we had booked afternoon tea a couple of weeks ago, asked if there were any dietary requirements and I stated no fish. We were booked in for 2pm and didn't receive our food until 2.35pm. What arrived was a complete letdown to what we'd had before. 1 finger sandwich each and half a roll each with Tuna on when I'd specifically said no fish. The bread was stale, the afternoon tea was advertised as having cheesecake but there was none. There was an odd number of mini sausage rolls and then we saw the missing ones on the floor near a table on the floor as we left šš¤£ everything was dry/stale. It's Ā£12.50 each with tea/coffee or Ā£16.50 with gin/prosecco. Can honestly say it wasn't even worth Ā£12.50 for 2. The lady who served us was lovely and when asked we did tell her and she took one of the afternoon teas off the bill, we did say it's ok we'll pay as we had ate the most of it (we were starving) but she knocked it off anyway which was really kind of her. Unfortunately for us we won't be returning for food as we felt totally let down as it was a special occasion. The pub, the atmosphere and staff are fab, however I'm not sure what's gone on with the food side but it isn't like it used to be.

All staff that slow you are stood waiting while they think about what they are getting. Get up and go got up and gone. No personality or customer service

I've just been to KFC Leigh and I usually order at the till in order to claim my student reward as the machines don't allow you to do that (this should be fixed by the way). I always get a friendly reception from the staff, so I'm not too sure what the other reviews on here are referring to. No, I don't have any long conversations with them, but that's not their job? Their job is to take your order and give you the food at the end of the day. Regardless, I've never ever had any issues with the staff and have always found them to be lovely, as long as you're nice to them (you know, common human decency. You can't expect to be rude to someone and then they're lovely to you). Anyway. I'm ordering at the till and the manager comes over and starts to tell off the employee that is serving me (arguably the nicest and most helpful member of staff they have, in my opinion) and is just really quite rude to her and it made me feel uncomfortable as he was telling her off for me ordering at the till.. even though the till is there to be used and is operational, so what's the issue? Anyway, back to my point. The manager just walks over, berates the employee and then walks off and then the employee has to apologise to me (for doing nothing wrong) and I left feeling guilty for getting them in trouble.. even though there's no signage indicating you can't use the till. To sum up, I've no idea what the issue was, but I think the manager could have handled it better. I never have any issues with the food or the staff and I always enjoy my order. Just on this one occasion, that wasn't quite the case. No fault whatsoever on the employee servicing me! Ans I'd like to know why the tills can't be used all of a sudden?
