McDonald's in Wigan

Mcdonalds are what they are, this is one of the better ones. Prompt service and hot fresh food. The downstairs dining area was busy, but there was plenty of seating upstairs, which was clean and tidy. The condiment stations were organised too, which is a rarity nowadays. Overall a pleasant experience.

Very slow when only orderd a coffee.

Queues are unreal no matter which restaurant you go to. Staff concentrate more on drive through. Customers in restaurant have to wait as a result.

Honestly, they never fail to mess your order up. Missing 2 items along side only 1 burger when you order a double? I swear they just guess what you want. Sort your management out because they haven't got a clue how to train staff.

This is not a 24 hour McDonald’s I go there in the middle of the night and because they can’t be arsed doing any work they say they are doing a service update

Don’t even bother- not 24 hours at all, 3 separate occasions tried to go after work (around 11:30pm-1am) and closed due to a system update, not sure why a system update effects a grill or fryer or how hard it would be to turn the app off or put a cone out

Would come more often but unfortunately there's always a beggar sat in the drive thru

Only 3 cars at the drivethrough and still made us pull up and wait 15 minutes (its in the name, drive through). The girl then came out and we watched her walk all the way around the car park twice before spotting us. When we arrived home and opened the bag, the double quarter pounder had been put in a ripped box akd subsequently was at the bottom of the bag, unwrapped and chips had been placed upside down? What is the point in the 7-8 person team in that kitchen if you cannot pack something right.

food arrived late and delivery was half an hour late. Only was notified it had left restaurant when order was at my door.

Very bad service as every single time when we used drive through we were asked to parked to collect the food. Waiting time always over 30mins just for a cheese burger and medium fries.

Thing is with Maccies they look great on the advertising pictures but when you open you triple cheese burger I'm sure someone has either stepped on it or used it as a door wedge. Looked horrendous.

Missed items a few times. Wait times can be ridiculous. Staff interaction is more rude than not. Only drive thru branch in the area otherwise I’d boycott completely considering there’s 2 more branches in close proximity but when you got a baby it’s a little better for the convenience.

I had such a pleasant experience in this branch, which is rare for a McDonald’s. The food was lovely, hot and fresh - we did have to wait a bit but you don’t mind when it’s good. All staff I came across were lovely and friendly, seemed to be a lovely environment. Cleanest McDonald’s I’ve have seen in a long time.

Need to stop employing kids they can never get a order right half of the order missing and from what I got of my order who in the right mind sends out a cup of tea with no milk only need half a brain cell to no the person ordering a cup of tea might need milk not rocket science for the price they charge you would think they would have more experienced staff that no how to do the job

McDonald’s is the worst fast food service known to man!!! Just spent £30 on 3 meals and pancakes and received only the burgers!!! not only that they are burnt and have gone in the bin. Everytime I order from McDonald’s it’s been the worst!! I will never order from there again.

Ordered a muffin meal to eat in and waited over 20 minutes for it ...no table service so had to stand there waiting.. woman serving was shuffling around on crutches and obviously couldn't cope... there were about 15 of us all waiting for food and all complaining.. ordered from mcdonalds last night we ordered chicken crispy and a double burger meal. my wife's bun on the chicken crispy was burnt, and my bun on one of my burgers was burnt, I mean BLACK CHARCOAL BURNT. I sent photos not heard anything back from you yet disgusted with this burnt none edable order and really disgusted with the response ec NONE so far.

I really recommend the drive through at this Mc Donald’s as I was served by Tony he was well mannered and polite whilst taking my order.

Absolutely the best McDonald’s in Leigh. Food was warm and delicious . I also got great service from a young boy on the drive thru think his name is Tony, he was so pleasant and helpful explaining how to download the app and order. Thank you for a pleasant experience I’m sure I’ll be back soon 👍😁 el

Terrible!!! Food was freezing, no sausage pattie with the pancakes and my double sausage mcmuffin looked like it had been volleyed across the carpark! They even managed to mix up sprite with oasis. I’d give them minus stars if possible…

what's the point of using uber eats or just eat if the staff can't even put all the meals in the bag to begin with, last 2 orders have been missing meals, staff just shrug it off as its not there problem, yet the order goes through the store, the drivers don't pack the food.

The worst bunch of morons I have ever had the mispleasure of coming across, each one more incompetent than the last, McDonald's must be hiring of some form of scheme at the moment, cannot get the simplest of orders correct and unable to rectify

Spicy burger was nice. Went through the drive through but no food ready. Told to wait in the car park, the attendant/server came out and gave our food to a different car. The person in the other car had to take the food back and we had to go and ask if it was for us. It had the car reg on the receipt!!!!!

Let's face no one goes to McDonald's and expects the food to be 5*. But got my order 1 item missing, and then when I checked I got a double 1/4 pounder with only one burger!!!! Oh, and teenagers was let in who didn't order and eat, just came in sat down and started acting stupid throwing things around the restaurant........

Every time I visit just after midnight they are always making excuses to why they’re closed for an hour or so… “system update” seems to be a regular occurrence! I’m sorry, but having worked at McDonalds myself many years ago I highly doubt that, they weren’t daily! It’s excuse after excuse, so maybe they need to take that “open 24 hours” sign away as this is not the case! On several occasions now over a few months I’ve been and have been let down by this and seems by other reviews I’m not the only one.

stop by to grab a bite to eat with my other half and compared to the runcorn branch the timing and how the food wad presented was amazing, there was nothing missing from the order, there was no asking if my order was coming soon, alot of this does happen in the runcorn branch asking were my order is and stuff missing on the order so for this branch there doing something right

Delivery was actually quite punctual however the order was miss several items which was highly annoying.

Always seems to be an excuse to close it at night even though it's a "24 Hour" branch. "System update" , "cleaning the grills" , "setting up for breakfast" Every time I've been its always a different exuse and never open. Very poor. I'd drive an extra bit and go to stonecross or Tyldesley rather than waste my time here.

Absolute abomination. Got a McRib and a Mcflurry. The McFlurry had caramel sauce all over the outside so now everything in my car is sticky. The McRib, they put the BBQ sauce on that from a distance and mainly on the outside of the burger. I won't be returning here again. Worst McDonald's ever
