We have been visiting Chris (Chef) and his family for a few years now and i have held off writing a review as most new eateries start well but tail off in standards of food, this is not the case here!!! Fantastic friendly staff even better local produced food at a very reasonable price, the interior is farmhouse rustic. The car park is good and they are dog friendly serving Mrs Dawson's Doggy ice cream for your well behaved four legged friend. Please don't visit as i want to keep this a secret from the hoards!!!!

We aways get our chinese from Tucker on Ferry. I am yet to find another chinese takeaway that offers such delicious and fresh chinese. My family has never been disappointed, and it is not uncommon for us to spend $200 there (we are a big family!) It's not just their chinese either. Their burgers are delicious and a really good price, as is their fish and chips. Chinese takeaway is usually an expensive treat for us, and we cannot afford to buy it and for it to not be nice. There is never a chance of this happening with food from Tucker on Ferry. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and the owner is a lovely man as well.

We were here for my brothers wedding, the venue was lovely with beautiful views all round. The staff were friendly and helpful. the food served was okay but the chicken was a bit dry and no gravy on the plate. if you wanted tea or coffee after your meal you had to pay for it. There was only one bottle of water on the table for eight people and no glasses to pour it into. No non- alcohol drinks were served as an alternative to prosecco for the toast. There was £5.00 minimum on the credit card so if you wanted a soft drink and had no money you were snookered.

The food I ordered was absolutely scrumptious. I we ordered the following: Starters - chicken chat, shish kebab and massala fish. Mains - murghi amruzi, lamb rosti and mutton curry with potatoe Sides - boiled rice, chapatis, chips and a garlic, corriander and chilli nan!

We had dinner early in the week on a Monday. The ambiance of the place was pleasant and tranquil. The starters were delightful, but the main course was slightly underwhelming. My partner ordered a steak baguette, and unfortunately, the fried onions were omitted and left off. There were only two other patrons in the establishment, yet the service between courses was exceptionally slow. To further exacerbate the situation, a staff member decided to vacuum the area adjacent to our table, making it challenging to engage in conversation.

Had a terrific lunch here, a really memorable experience. It was a beautiful sunny day, we sat at the rear of the cafe, outside, looking across the lovely, well kept marina and all the boats. The tables were spotless, the food was faultless and what really stood out was the quality of each and every one of the staff/servers that we interacted with. So pleasant and polite, very professional and efficient too. They really elevated our experience to the next level and should be applauded for it. We will definitely return.

Please know I visited dozens of times before writing this review. Heatons Bridge is a bit disappointing really and has gone very much downhill lately. Less chatting by the staff and more cleaning up (especially outside) is definitely required. Staff need to remember that people go out for a good time so sulky, depressed attitudes shouldn't be the norm. Although it must be very difficult to find positive, energetic, upbeat staff in remote areas. But settling for staff that simply don't care will doom any business.
