Was fab all meals spot on 13 of us 3 dairy free no problems waiter lovely young lad took time and listened to what we required will return soon

First time eating here, food was nice and hot! Greeted with friendly faces and will definitely be coming back.

Great Premier Inn breakfast. Staff are great, food is decent and all you can eat. Nothing to complain about.

OK food, although the restraint can get a bit noisy.

Don't get the ribs, they're just horrible. I don't think I want to know how long they have been in the fridge after they were first cooked... or maybe they were microwaved from frozen. Rank either way. Silly me for ordering ribs at a beefeater I guess. Literally just a bland rack of chewy bitty ribs with some sauce on. £21? If I was there on my own i'd have walked out. Waitress was a gem though, good laugh and attentive, especially considering she seemed to be doing all the work while the youngsters just nattered. Chips and corn were alright.

Great place but value for money is slipping especially the higher prices and smaller portions.

Instant friendly welcome, food was all correctly cooked and tasted above what you would expect with a cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast area was kept clean & tidy. Overall better than you expect for a breakfast, well done!

Once again Anthony and the team don't fail to deliver excellent service and food, been coming here for a while now and the consistency is top form.... always. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place to eat and very good service

Just your average beef eater pub. No complaints really. Stayed at the premier inn for a couple of nights due to work up here. Dinner was alright, breakfast was much better though. Friendly service from staff.

Mixed grill absolutely on point, friendly and prompt service. I didn't see anything on the desert menu I fancied so Pam asked what I liked and made me a custom desert!

I had garlic bread to start, followed by a ribeye steak and my friend also had a steak followed by KitKat sundae Everything, as always, was cooked to perfection. Staff friendly, and tidy. All tables were laid ready for diners. Would I go back - too right I would. See you next time guys n gals.

We all had the roast lamb Sunday lunch. Our server Pam was helpful, polite, but engaged with a little banter. I've been before when Pam has been my server, she is consistently helpful and smiling.

Good food and very good value if using promotion codes, Our waitress June was very pleasant and attentive, food was cooked well and served hot.

First visit here. Lovely meal, really hot & tasty. Staff very polite. Only issue was the patchy wifi. Would visit again.

we called at our favourite restaurant on saturday evening and we all had delicious meals and we was served by our favourite waitress june who always goes out of her way to make us feel very welcome and is always very efficient the restaurant is very nice and the staff are all very nice

Over priced and very tired indoors. Toilets needed a good clean. Staff seemed a bit uninterested but satisfactory. Planned to go for a full meal with family of 5 but ended up just ordering drinks and children’s meals.

The food was great and staff were extremely friendly especially Pam our waitresses who was very very good. We had a lovely dinner in a very friendly atmosphere.

We had dinner early in the week on a Monday. The ambiance of the place was pleasant and tranquil. The starters were delightful, but the main course was slightly underwhelming. My partner ordered a steak baguette, and unfortunately, the fried onions were omitted and left off. There were only two other patrons in the establishment, yet the service between courses was exceptionally slow. To further exacerbate the situation, a staff member decided to vacuum the area adjacent to our table, making it challenging to engage in conversation.

Great staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Collected points and had enough for 2 free starters and 2 free desserts, plus a 40% off voucher. Ate like a king, cheap as chips.

Food came out quickly but was very average in terms of quality. The ribeye steak I had was a bit tough and my wife’s chicken burger (and the 2 lots of popcorn chicken for the kids) was overdone and crunchy. Even with a 40% off mains voucher it was still nearly £50 for food and soft drinks. The place is beginning to look a little tired and run down. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

I don't know if it was just us but we were generally ignored when we arrived whist waiting to be seated. We must have stood for about ten minutes with none of the staff, passing by us, even acknowledging our existence. Eventually we were accepted in with zero pleasantries. He wanted to seat us in a weird area of the restaurant, and when I asked if he had any other tables I guess I pushed him over the edge and he was downright rude to my wife and I. Awkward drinks order ensued. Food was meh..... Come breakfast..... Once again , no pleasantries and awkward orders. Staff just seem generally unhappy. Chairs were dirty...

This place is just comfy, cosy welcoming, oh and happens to do great steaks. Always made welcome. Thanks Pam for particularly looking after my elderly mum and anthony for getting mums phone onto WiFi! (God forbid she can’t use her points for wine!) Staff here are always just great! Been debating about trying here for a few weeks but decided what have we got to lose so we went this morning (Sunday). It was very busy but we managed to get a table (was advised to prebook at weekends). The continental breakfast was plentiful and very fresh, with fresh juices and coffees. We ordered a full English to go with this. This arrived piping hot and very flavoursome. The staff couldn't do any more to help and lovely and friendly. Forgot to take photos as we were too busy enjoying the food. 10/10 will definitely be returning.

Fabulous restaurant with the Premier inn chain. We have stayed a couple of times & this restaurant is excellent. Good food, prepared & delivered in a timely fashion, great selection of beers, ciders & wine. The staff are first class, friendly & good fun & very attentive !! This Restaraunt is absolutely fantastic.Pam who served us was very sweet, professional, we were there for our Silver wedding Anniversary, the starter was beautiful breaded mushrooms. yumm the main course my husband had the fish and chips with mushy peas and he so enjoyed it well recommended. I had the melted chicken, which was chicken breast with bacon and melted cheese served with chips and home made coleslaw. then for desert hubby had chocolate cake and ice cream and I has the Biscot sunday. Absolutely delicious.

Stayed in the hotel attached for 2 nights so booked a table for breakfast and evening meal. The staff here are really friendly especially Lacey who was really helpful. The evening meal and breakfasts were all cooked well and arrived in good time.

Stopped on way to Southport, so glad we did. Sunday roast, best we’ve had for a long time. Staff were very friendly and looked after us and our three grandchildren amazingly. Will be going back very soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to The Morris Dancer and we will return. Have to say our waitress Pamela F made us feel really welcome. Food was really good and recommend Ribeye Steak and Salmon steak

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent friendly staff. Pamela was the lady we dealt with most and she was humorous and so efficient. We would like her to get a pay rise please! The others were fantastic too.

This is a lovely place with lovely staff and food is great. Pamela was brilliant at every visit. She has a good sense of humour and gives brilliant service. The other staff were great too.

Cold food! Waiters not very pleasent.. chicken cold and like rubber £27 and was terrible.

Place was full, very busy, so a wait for the food but not too long. Service was attentive a cheerful despite work load. Several cars did not have disabled badges and as spaces full we had to park away from door.

The food here is typical of a Beefeater which I would describe poor quality pub grub at best but that's what you pay for. The staff were faultless as ever, friendly and helpful. The pub is adjacent to a Premier Inn and therefore there is a large free car park attached. I would recommend booking as it can get very busy around 6pm.

Really pleasantly surprised. Doesn't look like much from outside but the food was very good quality, good value, and the staff were lovely. I love that the kids menu has healthy options, but still things that kids would enjoy. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door with no problems. On Friday evening we had a meal. We ordered our food and was served by Katie A. She was miserable and rude; slammed glasses down and was the same with all of us. She clearly didn't want to be there. The food was mediocre. I think she had a fall out with another colleague. Not good customer service.

We ate last night and whilst the mains were nice, I ordered a side of onion rings to share with myself and my wife and was quiet shocked that when they landed on our table the £4.99 that they cost equated to 5 onion rings in a small metal tumbler or a £1 per onion ring! C'mon guys you surely can't be serious 😂

Went for breakfast as a family of 8, Diane was our server and went above and beyond to make sure are visit was pleasant, we had her demented with trips to our table with extra things and one thing or another, she was very polite and made our experience a memorable one! Thank Diane from the crazy bunch of slobs ha!

The food was very good and the service was welcoming and friendly, could have easily been 5 stars, but the gents toilets on Wednesday afternoon was an absolute disgrace, wet floor and stunk of unrie.

Ate here as a table of 8. The service was brilliant, the waitress who looked after us was so on the ball. All 8 mains came together and were piping hot and delicious, well done chef. Also had breakfast next morning after staying at premier next door. Only 1 Criticism, i feel the pup could be with a refurb. Will definately visit again.

Had breakfast here after staying in the Premier Inn. I asked for full English, what the waiter heard was give me all the bacon. Mini heart attack later I am looking for a reason to visit the area for work again. Great full English breakfast and pretty solid coffee as well. Recommend the breakfast for sure!

Stopped for a quick pint No dogs allowed which is sad but I guess will be a brand policy that’s the They do have an outside but was blowing a fake only reason its getting four stars most bars and eateries in city centres let dogs in these days Wide range of beers

Got invited here by friends a few months ago for breakfast, we now come once a week every week and it's worth every penny! Service is spot on, food is excellent and it is a clean, friendly, relaxing environment.

Says closes at 23.00 but last order's called at 21.45 asked to leave at 22.30 after having a lovely meal could have done with having a few more drinks but felt pressured into leaving if it says closes 23.00 surely last order's 22.30 ?? Otherwise good place for food 👌

Found this place for breakfast a few months back - was really impressed and have returned several times since. You can order whatever you like (eggs, bacon, sausauge, etc) and also undulge in the continental buffet. Fabulous (unlimited) coffee macine. £9.99 - can't beat it!

Really tiny portions, definitely frozen food. Everything has that pub taste. It's basically a pub without the drink. And tiny portions for prices that you pay at a real restaurant

Enjoyed a varied breakfast after our stay at the Premier Inn. Plenty of choice and the food was well prepared.
