Amazing food in a really nice setting. Good portion sizes, good prices, would absolutely recommend. Service was a little slow but if anything it added to the experience, it didn’t feel rushed and it felt like the food was cooked freshly and served very warm.

I have been here to dine in person. Great experiences. But delivery is not good, took two hours for delivery, and 40mins post expected delivery time. Food wasn’t in the best condition because of this. I won’t knock the place, but the delivery time is awful.

Food arrived a bit later than was stated, but the food arrived piping hot and was fantastic quality. Really tasty and everything cooked perfectly. Our first time ordering here and will definitely be returning! Highly recommend.

Food is always amazing here. Decor is tacky and dusty. Furniture is scruffy, some of it is garden furniture. The place needs an overhaul to modernise and a good clean. But if you can look past all this, the food is delicious.

Good, tasty food… although the sticky rice (most expensive rice) was a boil in the bag, sent in a plastic bag that I presume it was cooked in. Not sure if it was overcooked or undercooked but the thing was inedible… hard as a brick. Everything else was perfect.

After meaning to visit for a few years, my husband and I decided to go one evening. My biggest regret is not going sooner. All the food we ordered was lovely i.e Thai fish cakes, calamari, but the Thai Green Curry blew us both away. The spices and flavour has left us both craving Thai Green Curry every weekend!! The staff are really friendly and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely freshly cooked food. This restaurant has recently come under new ownership and the food and service are excellent. Reasonably priced food and they do mocktails and cocktails as well. We enjoyed the set meal for 2. We will be back!

We came in an hour before closing as our previous plans fell through and expected to be turned away but we were seated with a smile by the lovely staff. We ordered drink and food, starters and mains for the and it was amazing, can’t fault the quality, the tamarind duck is crispy and chilli duck has great heat. We asked for take away boxes as we didn’t want to stay passed close but the staff insisted on us taking our time and not too rush. Would highly recommend and definitely going to visit again.

Decent portions and great taste. Decor was a bit tacky but they definitely made up for it with the food. Service was great too.

The food is delicious. It is all freshly cooked so, for example, vegetable tempuras are crispy and tasty and the different flavours and ingredients of sauces are there to be savoured. sauces. There is a wide variety in the available dishes and those that I tried in a set meal were all delicious. They are child-friendly and will even entertain bored toddlers. I will definitely be going again.

First time visiting and we would 100% return. We ordered a takeaway - set meat meal for 2 and it was so tasty and hot. Meals were fresh and we were so pleased with the service. Would highly recommend. The staff are also super friendly.

We were camping near the Itsy Bitsy Thai Restaurant and spotted it on our journeys to and from Southport. We ordered a couple of chicken noodle dishes for takeaway and were blown away by the service and food quality. Well done

We were a regular customer, but not more, as if today. Pre-ordered a delivery online. They phoned to confirm the order and directions. The driver called and needed further directions. But then it went silent. Called the restaurant for an update - order cancelled as unable to find us. A regular customer lost.

Called the restaurant 10 minutes later and because they could not find us, they cancelled it and did not inform us. Poor service and would not use again. To be fair, overpriced and small quantities anyway.

Wow!!! Just wow this place is amazing our first visit tonight and everything was perfect we got the fishcakes and dumplings starter they were incredible and could not believe how cheap they were homemade amazing quality and the size was very generous 😋 the mains came and they were perfect again you can tell it was all fresh could not fault we will 100% return. The atmosphere was so nice they staff were absolutely lovely could not fault anything can not wait to go back. Amazing hidden gem 💎

If I could give 0 stars I would. Been a customer paying around £50 a week for take aways, however, today our meal wasn't delivered. Pre-ordered and driver could not locate us. We chased repeatedly on the phone to be met with a bad attitude and how difficult we are to find. The food was taken back to the restaurant (I'd imagine to be recycled to another customer). Lost a regular customer as we will never order there again.

Have not been here for years but just fancied a mid week Thai meal..................it was excellent .Food and service first class,we will return

Food is really nice all piping hot , and plenty of traditional choice.Could not fault the staff and it’s reasonably priced. The restaurant is quite small and cosy , it was very quiet the night we went not sure if that’s normal but we would definitely try it again.

Really enjoyed our first meal from here. Very tasty and more sophisticated than Chinese food. Will order again.

I am very reluctant in writing this review as being a seasoned Thai foody to let others know of how fantastic this gem of a restaurant is, as l want to keep it to myself lest l couldn’t ever get a booking again, due to its popularity. We were greeted like VIPs. Service was of a high standard. The choice of menu was exceptional and as good as any top Thai restaurant anywhere including Thailand. But oh the food! My rating would be a Michelin Star with out any reservation.

We have recently moved close to the area. We thought we would give this place a try. The food is so fresh and has been hot every time. Due to home renovations we have ordered a few times now and not once have we been disappointed. It's the best takeaway we have had in a very long time. It's restaurant standards but at home. We look forward to eating in :)

Hot, delicious food, delivered on time. Can’t fault Itsy Bitsy Thai. Love the Tom Yum Soup and Papaya Salad. We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried from the new menu. Will be back again soon

No tofu in the vegetable noodle dish. A random extra rice dish added. Quarter crispy duck really poor.

Having booked online via their own website we arrived to find the place closed. On ringing the bell we were told in no uncertain terms that they do not take bookings on a Sunday lunchtime and are shut. Then I was informed that I hadn't booked it through their website, screenshot was shown, no attempt at an apology or politeness. Also as we were leaving another couple turned up with exactly the same issue, booked online. We took our money elsewhere. I believe it is a simple task to ensure that your business webpage and links are a correct reflection of your opening hours. No excuse.

A bit disappointed today. Starter was the best part of the set meal. Found my veg and tofu main course a bit bland. Usually like the food from here.

I called the restaurant to ask for 730 till 8 del it arrived at 7pm... Food was cold and soggy in cardboard boxes, rice was thick and in hard chunks, the duck was clearly lots of left overs all thrown together..this was my birthday meal I'm so disappointed as it wasn't cheap either

Ordered the sleeping tiger curry and f*** me it was the tastiest curry I’ve had, spice was at a tolerable level which improved the flavours of the curry even more. Also recommend getting the Thai prawn crackers with the meal. Just adds that bit extra to make you keep going back for more. Also add my a*** didn’t sting in the morning!

Myself and my wife took our Grand Daughter here because she loves Thai food. we booked a table for 6.30pm. When we arrived the restaurant was no more than half full. We placed our orders for food and drinks. ....and waited...and waited, during this time a steady flow of take away customers were coming and going, along with the restaurants 2 delivery drivers. An hour later, no food ! I went up the the bar to ask where our order was and why were take aways being prioritised over sitting customers...the young lady very abruptly told me we were going to be served soon. The people on the next table (who had 3 small children with them), then complained, it transpired they had been there 30 minutes before us ! During this, a man came in to collect a take away order, I asked him what time he phoned the order through and he told me it was 7pm...he got served before ourselves and placed the order 30 minutes after we sat down !! Eventually we did get our food...it was slammed down by a very rude young lady. The service and attitude we endured was nothing less than an absolute disgrace, this place needs to decide if its a restaurant or a take away....We will NEVER go there again....if people are planning on going to go to this place, my suggestion would be to order a take away before hand and eat it when you get there ! ...an utter shambles !

Great food with very friendly staff. We booked the restaurant for our daughters birthday due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our earlier booking but things changed and we managed to book a table for dinner instead, this was managed with no fuss. We have been before and the food is as good as it was on our other visit.

The main meals were good, sharing starter ribs were missing and the rice was packed tightly in cling film and didn’t air out, very disappointing, not like in the restaurant. All in all it was ok, doubt I’ll order again.

We have visited three times now, last evening (07/10/23) being our latest visit. Food again was amazing. The staff were busy and there were a lot of people coming in for takeaway orders and this did slow things down a bit but you have to remember it is a small restaurant and anyone who things they could survive on 11 tables alone would be mad which is why it was frustrating to see two separate groups being overly vocal over the service. Politeness costs nothing and these people were loud and rude. One of the groups I think were under the impression that it was a Whacky Warehouse with their kids wandering around dropping wax crayons on the floor for people to dodge whilst they drank copious amounts of wine. The other group were quieter but their daughter had incessant cough and not covering her mouth whilst coughing loudly. Both these groups complained that they were not being seen to fast enough but the staff were doing their best. They both vowed never to return , RESULT! The food is some of the best Thai food we have ever had, previous visits have both been without the slightest of delays so can only assume it was very busy on phone orders. If you want a business to survive so you can keep on enjoying it then have a little patience, have an extra bowl of Thai crackers for gods sake. Amazing little place, great staff and beautiful Thai food. We had a lovely meal and we tipped over and above last night to show our support for the servers.

Please try this place if you like Thai food! It's the best Thai we've had outside of Bangkok. We ate in - great for my wife who is gluten free. Pad kaprow was amazing. Service was great. Family ran I think. Very reasonable price wise too. Please support this amazing place!

My husband and I have been meaning to try this place for ages after driving past. Well we finally got the chance tonight and have to say the food was fantastic. The staff were great and really attentive. We will be telling all our friends and be back very soon. Only downside is their delivery service doesn’t quite reach our village!

Order late even though it was pre ordered in the afternoon. Rang when 30mins late, woman was clueless and said she would call driver and call me back. She never called back. Food was average and over priced. Duck mostly fat and skin. Rice came in a plastic bag. Will not return

Wow. Just wow. We are from Singapore, where we get some of the best Thai food. Yet, we were bowled over by the excellent quality of Itsy Bitsy's Thai fare in Southport, UK. From the Tom Yam soup to the Prawn massaman, everything was absolutely delicious, flavored with the most aromatic Thai herbs and spices, and actually had a chilli kick that satisfied! What a blissful discovery in this tiny town up in North England. So grateful to the restaurant owners and staff for their effort behind the scenes, and for delighting our tastebuds!!

Food wasn't very flavourful. One dish was advertised as having black fungus in it, but just had plain chestnut mushrooms. All quite unexciting and too expensive for what you get.

The service leaves a lot to be desired, I’m not kidding you that it took 25 minutes to get my order taken ……… in an empty restaurant! Once ordered, the food came quite quickly and it was very tasty! The Pad Thai main was good but the “Piggy Bang” starter was absolutely class ……. although the staff forgot to bring any utensils so I had to eat it ‘au natural’

Had a meal at Itsy Bitsy back in March and it was superb. Was back in Southport week ago and booked..then saw 2 negative reviews..well went anyway and our meal was fabulous..arguably the best Thai meal we have had in the UK.. summer rolls, mussaman and and belly pork were brill...can't recommend highly enough.

Finally decided to try a takeaway and unfortunately we weren’t overly impressed. The food was barely hot (after a 5 minute drive home), which wasn’t a great start. Small portions, poor amount of chicken in the curry, and even less prawns in the hot soup. Very disappointing and won’t be returning.

Itsy bitsy was always one of our favourite restaurants so when we had family staying over at Easter we were looking forward to a takeaway. Unfortunately it was a disaster, On collection of our meal we discovered the restaurant changed hands 3 days ago and so had all new staff. The starters were terrible and the mains not much better. My daughter in law ordered the crispy noodle curry on my recommendation, when it arrived there were no crispy noodles so my partner drove back ( we live nearby) to be told they had no crispy noodles. They then gave us extra sticky rice instead which doesn't go with noodle curry! Why not mention when we ordered that dish that half of the ingredients weren't available? My partners Pad Thai which is his favourite also went in the bin. The amount of meat and prawns in the dishes was also halved to what we were used to. We used to eat at Itsy Bitsy once a week and have done so since before lockdown, sadly we won't be eating here again
