The best restaurants in Samlesbury and Walton South Ribble North West

We have used this takeaway a few times in the past and now have great app to order and collect. On new years eve at 8.09am, before I went to work, I ordered our usual for collection at 1 8.40. When I went in the guy had about 10tickeys but none under my name. I had the order confirmed on my tablet but he said bluntly 'no order'. My whole family ended up with toast for tea as other establishmenys busy too. I'll never use again.

Lovely room, view was amazing and great hotel. Didn't have food here but will definitely eat next time we r here. Will definitely be back

Thought we'd give this place a try - something different and in a nice supermarket. It wasn't busy, just five or six having coffee. But we had to clear a table ourselves - all tables by the windows were full of used dishes. We ordered sausage and mash - but the sausages were not just overcooked - they were incinerated. There was no soft meat in the middle and because they were so badly overdone, they had zero flavour. The portion size was adequate, it was just not a nice plate of food at all. The fish finger wrap was really tasty indeed. Loved it. But what would have made the bland appearance of two cream coloured wraps on a plain white plate would have been a small side salad. It looked so unappetising, yet it tasted great. I'd have it again and my partner forgot to order a side of chips - so pleased because the wraps were really sufficient for lunch. The coffees were hot and strong. Very nice coffee indeed. Two coffees, two lunches cost just under £20 and had the sausage and mash been even slightly better, I'd have given this place 4 stars but unfortunately, given the state of the tables and sausages, I do feel quite generous giving three stars. Every single experience counts in a cafe when there is so much choice and it pains me to pop in a low starred review as this is not at all normal for me, however, the review reflects the experience.

The place is filthy, cups left on tables, the toilets an absolute disgrace. Ladies sanitary bins overflowing & placed on a shelf at head height (I’m 6ft 2) in the unisex toilets. Lots of staff, of course hiding behind the counter messing on mobile phones! This place doesn’t have a drive thru, so no excuses whatsoever to ensure tables are cleaned, cups collected, half eaten food removed from empty tables, a damp cloth to wipe them over & my god, the bomb site of the toilets are addressed! We walked out & went elsewhere for a family cake & coffee meet! I didn’t fancy having to need my tetanus jab being renewed. Really disappointed, management needs to get a grip of this potential gold mine!

I had a complaint about the Baller meal deal, it was too hard. Also the size was too big, I couldn’t fit the balls in my mouth. When I called to explain the situation, a young chap declined the call after being extremely rude to me. Sort this out immediately.

We’ve been in this place for about 7 times in last 6 months. Each time they excel with their taste of food. Hot gulab jamun, mango juice, biriyani, soup— everything is delicious!

Food a touch overpriced (pub food at hotel prices), but to be expected. Room pretty decent, lovely location, overall a good experience.

I wish I had looked at the reviews before visiting 😕 service was very poor, and my order completely messed up twice. Also, the food wasn't the best tasting, I don't think I'll be revisiting here any time soon. :-(

The kfc does not sell coffee. I looked over and saw a Costa coffee. So I clicked what it us. I asked the server does the franchise owner also have the costa franchise he said yes. . And there you have why. They don't sell the hot drinks here because they want you to buy the 3 times as expensive coffee next door at their Costa instead. I sell coffee myself so I knew it wasint a machine or hassle issue. So there you have it

Disappointed - I wanted to order a fajita chicken wrap - only to be told that this wasn’t available after 5pm - this wasn’t stated anywhere on the menu that there was a time limit on certain items

On our drive to Scotland, we needed to stop and this seemed an ideal service station. Ordered the food via the touch screen, and got served in a timely manner. However, they did not get the basics right, i.e. clean tables. My wife had to find some wipes to clean the tables. Not sure who's issue this is (i.e. Burger King or Moto), but obviously this is a basic requirement. I understand that it is busy, but they need to employ cleaners. People want to sit after having driven long journeys. Food, drink and price - As expected!

Really awful experience today. We went as a part of a home education outing to visit the house and ghost trail. We had completely missed the signs about no food or eating on site (very badly signposted and hard to spot signs may I add). My two children were eating a sandwich in an outside area and we was approached and told to not eat any food on site. We packed our food away. My son wanted to finish up his crisps so I let him. 5 minutes later I was approached again and threatened that if he did not get rid of them we could be told to leave the site. Although I completely appreciate they don’t charge entry and food needs to be bought on site, it wasn’t clearly sign posted and I initially responded understanding, when approached the second time I was absolutely disgusted, as I was not going to physically remove the food from my son. I don’t think I’ll ever return as we continued to be watched through the window and felt very uncomfortable and intimated. We later found a sign on the park that stated ‘don’t be naughty and eat in the park or your own car’. Completely unbelievable.
