Appalling service. Terrible food. Staff need to produce the food that is advertised. I ordered 2 zinger burger meals via the drive thru. Yet again I was so disappointed to see a scrappy bit of chicken on a toasted bun with a smear of mayo. No lettuce. No box. No salt. No wipes. And cold fries. The service was appalling. I sat for over 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, staff kept looking over at me while I was at the serving window. Then eventually a young girl came over to take my order, which she replied, " I'm sorry but there's a 3 minute wait on zinger burgers'. So I was asked to park in a bay. Nearly 10 minutes later a tall guy came out with my order. I asked if it was all there, as I have had wrong orders in the past. Eg I ordered a boneless bucket & got a bargain bucket! See pictures below. I ordered pic 1 and got pic 2. Kfc is certainly gone down hill.

We've always used this KFC but after driving up to it today I couldn't decide if it was open or shut down. It's a Saturday night and we where the only people at the drive through. Pulled up to window one with a sign saying go to food hatch. When we arrive 3 young girls behind the window disperse giggling. I asked for crushums but as I expected machine isn't working she couldn't stop smirking for some reason which I found so rude. Decided to drive off and spend our money elsewhere. I can't believe what a nose dive that place has taken. It's a miserable dump.

The first KFC I ever had was from this place when I was about 7 years old. It was heaven. So sad and disappointing to see the food standard fall so low. My girlfriend and daughter had the vegan burger meal and were fine and happy. I, on the otherhand opted for the 3 pieces of chicken and chips. I've never seen smaller pieces of chicken and I had the s@#$s afterwards. My stomach is normally cast iron. KFC management need to get a grip on this place fast!!

The guy who served us was pleasant and very informative, chips and gravy was good also tea and coffee was good but the chicken was really poor . The coating was wet greasy and had nothing in common with what you would call Kentucky also my other half ordered a side of coleslaw which came ok but on asking there were no forks or spoons available to eat it ?? Another employee just shrugged and said we don’t have any , oh dear !!!

Orders where wrong no chips just really really bad food was dry and cold won’t go kfc again rubbish never again

These was the second KFC opened in the uk back in sixties .The first is on fishergate in Preston. Apparently a Lancashire based businessman visited the states in the early sixties liked the concept and bought the uk rights to the franchise but only opened 3 branches but that was 60 years ago - times were truly different then !

There were no customers when we arrived at around 5pm. The staff were waiting to take orders, yet at least five tables were filthy with grease or food debris and the floor was in a similar state. The toilet was dirty, the floor of the toilet was dirty and yet they were sparkling in comparison to the horrendously filthy sink. I got a three piece meal: one piece tasted freshly cooked and the other two appeared to be several hours old - thick, dry skin around like warm, dry chicken. Horrendous, and not for the first time. Fire your staff or just shut down.

No hot drinks at KFC Clifton Moor York !!!!! Really !!! Very slow service and staff not very friendly or helpful

How am I supposed to describe how bad this place is in 100 characters. The food and service are simply awful in every respect; lukewarm, tasteless, bland and the coffee is undrinkable. A truly awful experience that will not be repeated at this place. SHOCKING! Oh, and 1 star is way too high of a rating.

i attended this KFC during a busy period on a Friday evening and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff saviyo. He was very patient with my patient with one of our friends who has learning disabilities and this was wonderful to see. A credit to your business

Worst KFC I’ve ever been to. Poor staff. Never open. Never have what you want. Miss stuff from your order.

Drove up and parked up, walked to entrance to see a sign saying restaurant closed, but drive through open. Why not put a sign in car park telling you.

It was very good to visit KFC at Salmesbury after quite some time. It is very clean and the staff were efficient and helpful. We did have an issue with pop corn chicken having bits of silver from the non stick apparatus used to cook them . We were immediately given some extra boneless fillets to compensate with no quibble. It was nice to eat in the cafe and the food was lovely and hot. I like the newer potato chips and Mum in law’s gravy was as nice as I remember. All 6 of us ate for £3..50 each including drinks so we got a bargain!!

The cleanest kfc I've been to. Food was piping hot, chips were cooked really well. Nice and bright inside and toilets were clean. Guy serving was really polite. Both of us really enjoyed our food.

We have been to this restaurant a few times and each time we go we have noticed there is no KFC flavouring on the chicken which is a big surprise as this is a KFC, the food has to change and maybe a management change! Because you cannot sell this if it doesn’t contain what it should do, it’s just fired chicken with no flavouring.

So based off of past experiences, me and my family travelled 30 miles to this KFC as it was, in our opinion, the best.

4 chips and minute burger £5 Outrageous , not the first time chips have been sadly lacking. Too expensive.

Don't waste your money here. Greasy chicken and cold flabby chips. Not sure what is going on here but this place used to be good and always busy. Just goes to show i should have had alarm bells ringing when there was no queue of waiting customers. Guess everyone is voting with their feet and going elsewhere. Think I will join them as I certainly won't be going back.

Every time I visit they manage to miss something off my order.. and by the time I am home it is too late to trail back and ask for whatever they have forgotten. Tonight it was the sides.. beans and gravy.

This was the best kfc years ago I can’t understand why it’s so slow five people waiting about fifteen minutes after I’d ordered the staffs pace was snails pace nobody seems to look at these reviews or even care if it was my business I’d be appalled !! Out order as usual was wrong when it eventually came another mans was wrong also the manager looks half asleep the food in the boneless banquet was a joke the box far too big for the tiny things in it! Shame they are going to go downhill soon like the rest

Regularly call at chorley only for 3 moths now every time we call told no hot drinks its ridiculous. Anyway we have sorted it we go to McDonald's instead at least you get hot drink

I visit this store regularly. always get my order correct. The staff are very friendly and smile when they see customers walk in, go the extra mile for customers having trouble with their order. It was fairly busy but still did not have to wait long for my meal. Would recommend

This was the best KFC around this area so today I took my daughter and grandson out for a meal boy was I disappointed took 15 minutes just to place my order due to some person in front having problems paying on her phone two tills on display yet they only use one. We did eventually receive our food which was hot that's nice but we did ask for hand tissues only to be told we have none but later we saw they were handing them out? Plus the bins were over flowing just wish I'd taken a picture

Had a take away from here on Friday evening after going to see my beautiful new baby grandson . And the takeaway was shocking , how are they allowed to get away with it ? All the pictures of the food on offer looks great but wait until you get your takeaway .. trade descriptions? Food is nothing like the pictures just a big bag of poor quality chicken boiled in oil or grease served Luke warm with steamed chips .Shocking never again . Avoid at all costs ! Very poor . I wish trip advisor would let me score zero .

Several years since we visited this particular KFC with the family.

I was the only person on the drive through so went straight to order. I had to wait to be served so thought it must be busy inside. My order was a fillet burger box meal, I was asked if I wanted to go large which I declined, asked what drink I would like but not asked what side I wanted, a veggi rice box, large fries and 2 corns. I made my way to the next window and paid. I then had a 15 - 20 minute wait and, when my meal came, stupidly, I didn't check if everything was there as every other visit there has been something wrong with the order. My understanding of a Fillet Box Meal is a simple, succulent 100% chicken breast Fillet burger plus a piece of Original Recipe chicken, regular fries, regular side and a drink. Opened the bag when I got home and the fillet box meal was a burger in a bag and loose small fries ??? What is wrong with these people? It was an easy order? After the long wait you would expect the order to be correct. That is the last time I will go to KFC Mellor Brook.

Says open till 11 online but open till 10, been here several times as it’s local but in comparison to others it’s awful. Service is always poor and food is sub par.

We went here for a quick lunch. Quick was far from it.

Each time we visit this KFC we are hopeful that their hot drinks machine is back in operation so that we can choose to have a hot drink. What happened to choice! Note to management - we don't want cold fizzy pop thanks.....we're not 5 years old! For 6 whole months the staff have been churning out the same old excuse that their hot drinks machine has not been repaired yet. It is an utter disgrace; and completely unacceptable to try & fob people off with tired old lame excuses. Please will management GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER and invest in a new hot drinks machine now, so that customers can enjoy a hot drink with their food. We are in the middle of Winter. Not much to ask is it. Also would it be too much to ask for staff to appear at least slightly interested in their job, to smile & be obliging; and to be trained in hygiene, as it would make a pleasant change to find a clean table in this café. They are nearly always covered in debris & grease, likewise the seats. Let's hope standards improve from now on so that the paying customers are treated with respect.

We called in here whilst passing in October. We decided to eat in rather than drive through. The restaurant was small but there were tables available. The staff could have maybe smiled a little but were not unfriendly at all. The food arrived quickly and was upto the standards expected of any KFC. The restaurant was as clean as you would expect and I would recommend calling in here if your passing as it's in a great location for those of you venturing through Samlesbury.

The worst KFC I have been to raw chicken under cooked rude staff called here in September won't be going back

Raw chicken staff said it was fine... they reluctantly swapped the piece for me... it was red and slimy inside...

Called in here with family for Saturday evening meal and asked for a coffee with one of the meals. I was politely told that KFC no longer serve hot drinks? Strangely there is now a COSTA next door which does serve coffee, is this the reason why? After getting our order, I noticed that the menu board still had hot drinks listed but I couldn't see a coffee machine and couldn't be bothered to challenge the staff. Overall, the place was clean, staff polite and food good but the lack of coffee will mean I won't be visiting again.

Visited Friday at 6pm, went to the drive through only to be told it was cash only.

I am a KFC fan. If I'm goiing to have a fast food treat then KFC is my preferred choice. Uusally the food,etc. is pretty good. I have visited the Mellor Brook KFC several times in the past year. I will not be visiting again. It is a poor relfection on the brand! During my visit today they didn't have enought change to pay me (so effectively charged me extra), didn't have any hot drinks, the service was shabby and it felt like they were doing us a favour by allowing us to spend money with them. Worst of all, when I got the food home it was poorly put together and items were missing. This has happenned to me before at this location.

Been here a few times ,but find the place rather untidy,tables often dirty,toilets not very clean,food ok but a bit mean charging for ketchup,not been for a while as live near the one at Colne which is excellent

Smallest pieces of chicken I've ever seen, meagre portion of chips also. Staff talk to each other in their own language, disregarding customers. Certainly the last visit for me.

Extremely unhelpful staff, not only rude, abrupt and clearly hating their job, but practically threw our food at us. Waited ages for take away then it wasn't even hot. Disgusting service, food and experience never to be repeated.

We called in last Sunday. The tables and floor were covered in grease, sauce, bits of chicken and packaging paper. The chips were cold. The men's toilet floor was wet. Toilet paper littered the floor. The hand dryer did not work . Needs a visit from environmental health.
