The manager was extremely rude, everything felt like a big ask. Didn’t ask me if I wanted to make any changes or add anything to my sandwhich I selected off the menu. The other employee made a mistake and the till for my payment and the manager was extremely rude and undermining towards him infront of me and other customers. I asked to add jalepenos to my sandwhich and he (the manager) slammed it back down in the salad section. Overall a very poor service from the manager at the subway in the Capitol centre. Embarrassed the poor employee who was trying their best publically.

I just had the most miserable looking Philip cheese melt I’ve ever seen, I ate it because I was very hungry and spent over £7 for the privilege. There was hardly any cheese or meat on it the bread collapsed onto itself it was so thin, no chipotle sauce, the cup of tea was barely over half full of hot water, the counter was grubby as was the table, no wonder I was the only customer! Never again

Avoid this subway! I am type1 diabetic so I asked what carbs were in the sub I was eating. I was told very rudely it was on the board. I explained there was no carb info there it only shows calories. The guy (presumably the manager as he was wearing black t shirt) again told me rudely it was on the board in a very snappy way. I said it’s important for me as I need to do my insulin according to the carbs he then replied he wasn’t a scientist. I could not believe his attitude. There was a lot of rude comments made one being I should know what carbs I am eating and it was not a legal requirement to tell me the carbs (yes it is) I told him how awful his attitude towards me was, my partner got involved then the guy started swearing and laughing. It escalated and my partner being threatened with pepper spray and the police being called. (We have this filmed) he is now a wanted man by the police as he had disappeared when the police arrived. Another couple in the store agreed with us and told the guy how disgusting his attitude towards us was. This complaint has been put forward to subway head office.

The guy called Jason who served us was incredibly rude!! the menu has just changed and he practically shouted at my friend and then kept making snarky comments to the guy he was working with while there was other customers about it was very patronising and very embarrassing!!

Sonny was serving us, he was so boring and sad. Didn’t smile when we came in and turned his back and ignored us as we said thank you as we were leaving. He just clearly didn’t want to be there. He was rude and made us feel unwelcome. Refused to go and even check if he had extra sauce out the back when my wife asked. We had just travelled 6 hours and just wanted a nice bite to eat. We normally eat in store but sonny put us off. We would highly recommend NOT going here.

I ordered a 6 inch spicy Italian with the salad as per the picture attached yet the untrained member of staff has not put any of the meat on the sandwich at all. When I got home to my surprise there is a disgusting looking sandwich without any meat AT ALL. This is the WORST customer service I have ever ran into I cannot get in touch with them via phone or email. DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT!!!

The girls behind the counter ( Bethany and Chloe) was so helpful today ! Nothing was to much trouble .. Bethany made the best chicken wrap I’ve ever had ! And my daughter had a tuna mayo sub that was equally delicious The place was immaculate, food fresh, staff that have great customer service skills We will be back ! Thanks for looking after us today.

My wife ordered a foot long cheese sub roll .The lady put four triangle slices of cheese on the roll. My wife asked for some grated cheese also and she was told it would be an extra 60p for a sprinkle of grated cheese. All for £4.60 All the other subways I have been to give you a choice of three cheeses when you ask for a cheese roll. Most of the sub was empty. I feel this was bad customer service and also very bad value for money.

The family all enjoy subway, in this subway the staff always seem friendly and helpful. Sandwich never disappoint and love the cookies would recommend.

We fancied a Chicken Salad Bowl meal when the weather has been warm and so ordered 2 meals for delivery by Subway but via Hungryhouse agents, whom we paid by Paypal - some £17. This was the very first time we had tried Hungryhouse and Subway so we were full of expectation. This was not to be I'm afraid. We waited in excess of an hour and a half before I rang Hungryhouse who said that Subway hadn't accepted the order, due to Salad Bowls not being available on the day in question- even though it was clearly listed with pictures on the Subway menu. Neither Subway nor Hungryhouse had the courtesy to inform me that they couldn't fulfil my order- so I was just left hanging there. When eventually I did find out that they couldn't supply - I ordered a Chinese takeaway from the Wonderland in Leyland who are always good and reliable, as well as tasty. Hungryhouse blamed Subway and Subway blamed their system apparently. Either way I didn't get our meals that night, whoever was to blame. Both companies need to get their act together is my conclusion. I did eventually get a Paypal refund on the plus side.

subway is the best place I have ever eaten at the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very quiet and calm the food is very nice and the staff coudnt be more helpful would deffo go again without a doubt

Firstly I love subway and eat it at least twice a week. This subway has to be one of the best great staff and plenty of free parking. Inside it's like all subways same decor etc but it is always clean and loos are kept clean and tidy.

We have been to subway lots of times. This last few times it was untidy amongst the food area. There was dry salad and such like. The serving area was also messy. The servers were unkept too.

Out of every subway I have ever been to, I can comfortably say, that this is without a doubt the worst. Members of staff are unfriendly and rude -this is usually expected at fast food places where it's usually teenagers serving you, but definitely not to the extent that Capitol Centre subway put on. Not only are they rude, they are also incompetent at being a 'sandwich artist' as subway so eloquently put it. Subs are made poorly, toppings left off, and sometimes they aren't even cut. To add to this, one of the female workers asked what toppings I wanted. I replied "lettuce, onion and peppers please". First thing the member of staff did was not put on lettuce. Then they put on hardly any onions, and at least three subs worth of peppers. Bear in mind this was a foot long. Then, the member of staff wandered off to do something else, mid way through making my sub. She comes back to finish my sub - "anything else?" She asks. I politely requested lettuce, seeing as that was my first request, and also possibly the most common. Then, when adding sauce, she added way too little, and when asking if I wanted more, to which I replied yes, she huffed and went and got a fresh bottle. She then proceeded to squeeze a lifetime supply of sweet onion sauce onto my sub. Luckily, I like sweet onion sauce. There were zero apologies throughout and the staff member did not seem enthusiastic. To add to this, this subway always seems understaffed, and I have heard countless stories from friends of orders being ruined or messed up. Save yourself the heartache of going to this subway, and visit either Starbucks, or if you don't fancy that, McDonalds who will also more than likely give you the complete opposite of what you asked for.

Visited here today whilst I was out shopping alone at about 3:30 PM. There is outside seating and it was warm however seating was all in the shade so I sat in the car with the roof off while I ate my subway club. Subway is right next door to Starbucks if you wanted a decent coffee with your subway, not that I've ever had a coffee from Subway so couldn't tell you what it's like.

Healthy food at a good price. Sparse/basic decor but good healthy food with lots of choice at a reasonable price. Eat in or take away this is well worth the money.

Been here plenty of times and spent a LOT of money here. They have delivered our order and have missed one of the mains. When we called them back immediately, we was faced with "come pick it up or get it next time, your not having it now".. clearly misunderstand the point of DELIVERY.

Waited at the bar last night for a table for 2, was told it would be around 15 minutes. No problem, happy to wait that long. After 20 - 25 minutes, the woman working the front desk came over and said our table would just be a couple more mins and that she'd come back for us. Never did. Went to leave after 45 minutes of waiting and same woman then told us our table was now ready. Convenient. After telling her how long we'd been waiting, she had the cheek to say "well we are busy tonight". We could see that, but simply don't tell us it'll only be a 15 minute wait if you can't meet the expectation then. Shame because the food is always great at any Hickories you go to and we were looking forward to dinner. Won't be going back to the Hutton restaurant however.
