Raees Indo-Chinese Buffet in South Ribble

I really wanted to have a fish for my tea and persuaded the hubby to go halves on a portion of fish and chips. That's where I went wrong. I gave our order and did think it was strange when the fish was brought out from the back already cooked. Now I've NEVER been given a fish from a takeaway that hasn't come from the fryer in the shop. When we got home and dished out the fish and chips there was an odd smell. Once we started to eat the food there was a very odd taste too, needless to say we didn't carry on eating the fish and won't bother trying anything from here again!

The food was good but definitely a lack of communication with staff, 3 different stuff members would take our order, then when we moved on to our main meal they were bringing us appetisers that were meant for other tables and that happened a number of times. Toilets were grubby and no hot water.

The food here is generally good, service can be a little impersonal. The only downside is that they only take cash. Is that due to bank charges, or so they can decide how much to declare?

First time ordering since the golden phoenix was destroyed by the new owners, I was a little skeptic about ordering as I like to ‘stick with what I know’ however i couldn’t live in the past anymore, now I ordered my usual with high ecpectations? Not only was those expectations met but they exceeded massively! My ONLY moan is there wasn’t enough sauce but then can you ever have too much sauce ? My delivery time was near as dam perfect, I don’t like orders that arrive 10 minutes after they’ve been placed, food was hot enough to burn the roof of my mouth and my dog won’t stop drooling🙃 overall the is the best Chinese takeaway in leyland #10/10 #noodles #chinese #perfect #squidgames
