Nothing wrong with the staff as they are very friendly .Feel sorry for them starbucks has put there prices up every 3 months for the last year and a half cut there brownies and other stuff into 4 small square pie es rip off it disgusting how they can get away with this .I don't come as much now and as prices have gone up again by 25p a time I won't be co.ing as much again .starbucks wants to be ashamed of themselves for doing this .

I have just read one review slating this store because of the retail parks ANPR cameras which are sign posted every other lamp-post as you enter and park up, another criticising the service because it was busy, and another saying the chairs were marked... It is a heavy footfall store on a busy retail park. I frequent this store for both coffee and food and have never had an issue. My personal standards are quite high, but I also have a sense of understanding that there has to be a degree of leniency that when there is such heavy footfall, things may look worn or temporarily mucky. Have some sympathy for staff! PS - I do not work here, but I also know this store deserves a little more credit than when I have read.

My friend and I come fairly regularly because it’s dog friendly. We also chat for hours over a couple of coffees and a cake. We had a lovely conversation with Sam who was so friendly and such a welcoming smily person 🥰. She came over to offer us a coffee on her;’l’just because’ 🤗. It was such a warm thing to do: a real random act of kindness. It made our day! Xx

So I went to Starbucks to do some work emailing, writing, get some sandwiches and several coffees. Ended up spending about 6 hours there from 9 to 3pm. Staff kept on serving me, no problem - all good. Nothing said, nothing done. Two weeks later I received a £100 fine for parking beyond the alloted time of 5 hours in the capitol car park. This is the most expensive lunch I have ever had £112! For that price, I'd expect my coffee personally shipped in from Argentina, accompanied by a local to explain taster notes. I contacted head office, no reply. Contacted Twitter, no reply. Contacted the store themselves: they say there is nothing they will do, as it is a private car park. May I remind the store owner that the car park is the only means to gain access to an establishment serving food and drink, so that's not good enough. As I have neither the time or energy to take this further, can I suggest that you INSTALL A SIGN in your shop near the counter to state that says in BIG letters that there is a time limit to your stay and that you have no authority / ownership on parking fines despite being a food establishment? Can I also request that if customers order food and are sitting down, that you have a duty of care to inform them of the parking time limit.... The whole situation is so unbelievably wrong I can't even believe I have to write this. As a food establishment, you should have agreed terms with the landlord to annul any fine, given suitable receipts and evidence of use the establishment. If not - why not? What benefit does it give you and your customers to allow this practice to continue? Poor. Really poor, guys.

I asked for a decaf coffee as love coffee taste but can’t tolerate caffeine. Was given caffeinated coffee and have been unwell all afternoon! 😭 This has ruined my day! 🥺 Waaaaaa!

I visited Starbucks for the 1st time in at least a year. I was not impressed. Whilst the coffee was ok the venue was not. The chairs were extremely dirty. As I sat by the window I could see the window sill was very dirty and there were a number of short dark hairs on it. The table was dirty too and there were empty coffee cups all around. I won’t be going back. It used to be a lovely place for a coffee.

My daughter and I went in for a drink and sandwich. The member of staff who served us was extremely rude and had a very bad attitude. One of the toilets was out of order, the other had pee on the seat, no toilet paper, and was filthy. I would advise people to avoid the place.

Diabolical coffee. What can I say, terrible coffee, if you could call it coffee. Service was cannot be bothered attitude. Will certainly avoid in future. Far better places nearby.

This was my regular for an awful long time, really great coffee, nice decor and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and just a generally nice place to come and work and have a coffee, would highly recommend.

Always great service at this Starbucks and of course the coffee is the usual good quality from Starbucks.

Went here last week with me husband derek, ordered me usual large latte and was blown away with the service! We were served by this young man raife or Ralph I can’t remember. His service was very good and he certainly knew his stuff! He is an absolute credit to Starbucks, me and me husband were blown away, the coffee was just so fresh!

Not a fan of overpriced coffee or cold drinks but my little one loves them. Stopped for a quick drink after shopping. Rude staff, won't be going in again

After a 35 min sit down, you do notice it’s worn and NOT clean but then I realised I was being bitten on my legs. It maybe dog friendly but it’s not human friendly. Make a choice human customers or Dogs !!!!

Served by a very miserable young girl who clearly hated her job and cleaning even more.The place was littered with dirty crockery and people had even moved dirty plates onto the floor to clear a table to sit at . Spilt sugar and a mess at milk station , floor littered with dirty used butter wrappers. Will not visit this branch again . Wish I had checked here first as it seems to be a common occurrence at this branch that dirty plates etc are left about.

Nice handy location near to main road. Usual coffee selection with nice cakes. Easy parking and pets welcome in garden area.

Stopped here for a latte and a muffin before the shops opened , I was surprised how busy it was. Great service and look forward to my next visit

Ideally situated at the retail park so when you are shopping you can relax and have the usual great coffee and service at Starbucks

Visited with my mum on a Saturday afternoon after shopping , shame tables very dirty and we had to move crockery ourselves to sit with food and drinks. Table and floor not clean. In their defence, it was very busy. Doesn’t put me off too much as food and drinks were good. Possibly need more staff on at busy weekends!

Always choose Starbucks over Costa as I prefer the roast of coffee however, the staff at Starbucks are much moodier and pretentious . Maybe they don’t pay them well ?

Come here to work sometimes and it's nice and quite, staff are friendly and coffee is nice - sometimes parking is scarce right outside the shop so you need to park further into the retail centre...people bring dogs too and tables aren't always cleaned straightaway but all-in-all not a bad place to go.

Popped in with the wife for breakfast. Easy to get to, friendly staff, nice decor, clean seating...not a bad Starbucks over all. Not too busy either which is nice.

Popped in for a quick coffee with my sister and was really pleased with the service here. Surprisingly, so after reading all theses negative reviews. My sister ordered her customarily hot water and lemon, which was not a problem for the staff at all, I had the flat white coffee and we both had luxury toast - which was delicious. The staff took our orders with a smile - very refreshing. Easily found somewhere to sit that was clean and the place was generally tidy. Wouldn't hesitate to go back

Curt, surly staff. They bark comments rather than ask questions. Staff are far more interested in talking to each other about what they will be wearing tonight. Lets not talk about the filthy - not untidy, downright filthy, tables! Not a place that we will be visiting ever again. Oh and when I asked for the assistant to cut our sandwiches, it was as if Id asked for the content of the till!!!

So, the tables were dirty. Even those that had actually had their empty cups removed. The service was totally disorganised. Resulting in our order getting lost. We finally sat down with two buckets of dishwater. Bland, warm and tasteless. That was with an extra shot! This isn't coffee. Don't fool yourself people. The Spanish, Italians and French would laugh or simply walk out. Never ever again..... Yuk

Appalling service. When I was placing my order another member of staff cut across my talking to the girl at the till. When I said something about her being rude the service from the other two behind the counter became curt and confrontational. My lovely chilled slice of carrot cake was served on a plate straight out of the dishwasher so any moisture was sucked out of it by the heat of the plate. My receipt shows I paid at 13:35 the same three tables are covered in dirty cups and plates. I suppose clearing and wiping tables would interrupt their conversation behind the counter. The whole place is dirty and scruffy. Shocking.

Out of all the Starbucks coffee shops I've ever visited this one has truly disgusted me. The whole shop was filthy, the seats were dirty, the floor and window cills were full of dust dirt and grime - I would say a months worth of dirt not a day!

On entering Starbucks it can't be denied that the interior is very dark, furniture looks shabby and could do with a deep clean. The usual Starbucks coffees are available, a new promotion on iced coffees had begun. I ordered a iced latte and have to say I wanted to bin it after one mouthful. Bitter taste, more ice than liquid, won't be rushing back.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The food and drinks were just as you'd expect. The seating is looking a little tired and could do with a deep clean. The bench seats against the wall have lost their Spring so if you sit on them you feel like you've sunk to the floor. Fine if you're tall. Outdoor seating is a great idea - unless you're a non-smoker as this is the smokers area. Great place. Just needs freshening up a bit.

We popped in on our way to the cinema to grab a coffee. Very surprised to see hand written notes across the menu declaring that coffee of any kind was not available. Seriously? At Starbucks?

Called in for quick tea and "bacon sandwich". In fact the tea was cold....water not boiling and bacon sandwich turned out to be smoked salmon bagel...Packaging too similar. Young lady as pleasant but depressing place with sub standard furnishings and refreshments. I was in a hurry to get out so I didn't eat. Won't use Starbucks again

The place is always busy, the staff generally work hard however it's not the cleanest of places. Plenty of parking nearby

I poped in for a quick takeaway coffee on my way home and the staff were very friendly in a a very busy coffee shop. I was served fresh coffee in less than 4 minutes - Which must be some record. My order was spot on and I was a very happy coffee drinker

We used to travel to preston capital centre for the coffee and relaxing atmosphere here but after yet another poor customer service performance and a very dirty environment we won't being travelling or taking time out to come here again soon. Sort it out Starbucks

Very busy , difficult to find somewhere to sit .staff happy to serve you but no seats available , not the warmest of places to sit . Toilets were not clean either .

coffee was good but felt it was a little cool and asked for it to be warmed up said there was a fault with the machine

Only went to Starbucks because Costa has gone. Thought we would see if it was a new coffee shop to visit each Sunday but we will never go again. Tables were full of dirty dishes and during the half hour we were there they were never cleared. Three staff chatting at desk doing nothing. they then Made us two hot chocolates with skimmed milk cold and very weak. Also a hair in my drink. Floors dirty and an unpleasant atmosphere. Never Again!

After ordering two drinks we then had to wait quite while to actually get our drinks. (A lime refresha and a frappuccino)

Visited here yesterday with my boyfriend. Ordered 2 cold drinks and 2 cakes, tried to give the young girl at the counter my nhs card for the discount. She didn't even look at us through the whole time! She didn't even look at my card and said we don't do discount here! In a snotty little voice! (Even though I regularly visit a different Starbucks and get nhs discount each time with my card) she took my money, no please, no thank you! What a rude young girl! Think Starbucks need to look at their staffs attitudes towards their customers!!! Once we had left my bf tried his drink and she had obviously made it wrong! It tasted awful and went straight in the bin! Avoid this Starbucks at all costs!!

You sit amongst the dirty pots half of the time and they are always altering the door or the curtain or the doors broken etc. Very much spoilt by the dirty cups and saucers from other people and litter. Tables sticky and grubby

visited with my 2 sisters and our nana ! (we have a cool nana!) ohhhh myyyy goshhh !! chocolate flavour whipped cream on our hot chocolates need I say more !! great value for money, tasty drinks and friendly staff and atmosphere

I have been to this Starbucks twice now and both times been disappointed. The first time there wasn't any toilet paper in the loo's.

Enjoyable lunch almost ruined by a member of staff smashing cups/crockery in the back, attracted quite a few startled looks from other customers not just ourselves..... Perhaps something that should be done when the coffee shop is shut?

This is a brand new Starbucks on the East Side of the city, a good find for a refreshing drink whilst walking the Preston Guild Wheel

Ideal stopping point during shopping trip to retail park, or even if you're just driving past. Friendly, efficient staff, very clean seating area and toilets. Even books to borrow and return whilst enjoying your latte. Will return if in area again. Thank-you!
