The food in this cafe is delicious. Soup was home cooked, wholesome and so tasty. The owner / chef went the extra mile for me as I am on a diet to produced a bacon/ egg salad which was fabulous 👌 Ingredients were varied, fresh and presented beautifully. This cafe was a real gem and definitely worth the visit . Thank you for great experience.

I have used Frankie’s as my go to bakery for over a year now in my pub/business and for personal treats . Her bakes are phenomenal especially her Geo Hearts, brownies and treat boxes . A must visit if you fancy a sweet treat or a bake for a special occasion. Go and visit Frankie , you won’t be disappointed!

We visited for lunch without a reservation. The menu was good and the food was fabulous. Very helpful friendly staff, who were also knowledgeable about the beer on offer. We had 5 very different, but wonderfully enjoyable meals prior to an event. By complete coincidence, it turned out we were back a couple of hours later as the event was being catered for in the same pub. They turned out a lovely spread for what must have been 50 people and we were all well looked after.

well again, finally finding this place open at the 4th attempt was a relief. Nice coffee and pleasant couple who run it. great location next to the train station, so if you're waiting for a train and if it's open! then worth popping in.

Ordered on line ,pick up superb ,friendly staff ,best fish ,chips .pess and curry sauce great value for money x everything cooked to perfection ,had gluten free fish .

We absolutely loved it here. We sat at the window, looking out over the sea and had soup and sandwiches. A delightful little place with a lovely, cute vintage and antiques shop downstairs. Fantastic and friendly service, lovely food. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Beautifully decorated cafe, including the toilets. All very clean and well maintained. Food served quickly and was very tasty. Lovely coffee. Orla was a lovely waitress.

Fantastic food...caters for all.....staff really helpful and friendly, always willing to help. Linda, Mark and staff definitely 'go that extra mile' Cater for various functions and menus differ to suite everyone. Give it a try....you will not be disappointed. Just popped in for coffee. Good friendly service and very nice coffee, priced as you would find elsewhere. Didn't eat but the display of pies and cakes looked tempting. Gluten free cakes available as well.

Fabulous little find when visiting Arnside. Spotted as we walked along the beach. Superb coffee and the cookies were, according to my wife, the best she’d ever tasted !!!!! Lovely little atmosphere in there too.

Whilst walking in Arnside we decided to call into The Wagtail for a latte. The owner served us at our table and was very friendly ,our coffee was lovely. On leaving I bought a freshly baked Beef n Potato pasty to take home. Served at home with some mushy peas,I can honestly say it was one of the best pasties ive ever had. Plenty of large pieces of beef with chunks of potato in a well made pastry. It tasted fantastic. I believe that you can have the pies delivered to your home,frozen and ready for the oven. Would I return ... Yes definately.

My wife and I called in for a brew and a scone for myself. Whilst my drink was hot my wife's was just tepid. Scone was delicious but being so large,and Extra portion of butter would have been appreciated. However, we were seated by a member of staff and my view out onto the terrace was not particularly pleasant. There were two tables still covered in crockery/food that were not nice to look at. Further more, several tables within the cafe were left uncleared. This was mid afternoon and the cafe was quiet so surely there was time to clean up. We have been coming here for a number of years and sadly, standards have diminished. At £10 for two drinks and a scone we expect our surroundings to be a bit tidier in which to enjoy them.

Lovely friendly pub with excellent service, good food at a competitive price. Thoroughly enjoyed our food which was well cooked and generous portions.

A lovely warm and efficient welcome from the staff on duty.Alan the chef deserves a special mention for his customer service, smart appearance and helpfulness regarding the menu. We all enjoyed a first class meal and drinks in the nice surroundings and will be back again soon. Thank you to everyone on duty.
