The best restaurants in Victoria Sefton North West

We came here after we heard such good reviews! Safe to say they were right! Staff brilliant- live music, fab atmosphere! Great little place! Only wish I lived closer to go more often ❤️

Having read the reviews for Il Capitano i count wait to visit. Not a massive pizza fan but this place is pretty local so was hoping for good things. First off the food is lovely. We shared a chacuterie sharer which was really nice. I had a pizza and the wife had a seafood linguine, again both were very nice. So why only 2* review. First off its incredibly busy. Not with diner but with takeaway drivers. There is a constant stream of just eat, uber eat, deliveroo etc through the door making the venue freezing cold. It also means the staff ( one server ) are rushed off there feet. We waited 40 mins just to order a starter. It also means the food and drink is literally thrown down. I ordered a red wine which was stone cold because the bottle is kept on a shelf by the till. Lastly there is only one toilet shared by men and women and the seat was hanging off.Something so easily fixed should be allowed in this day and age. I hope they can sort these issues because the food really is outstanding.

Myself &wife went Christmas Eve,the restaurant was80% full which is a good sign,we decided on scallops,mussels and salmon pate(starters),lobster tagaltell and catch of day(mains),cheeseboard with2xport,everything was first class,the chef has high standards and the service was superb,I can only advise people to try this excellent restaurant ,we will definitely going back in new year,great little place…10/10.

Amazing home made food! If you want a big breaky come here it’s huge and tasty! Staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Overall a lovely experience.

Lovely,efficient and friendly staff. Reasonable prices for plenty of filling on thick crusty brown bread toasted. Nice atmosphere too.

Food generally good but massively let down by the wine, Ive tried all three reds on offer and wont try any of them again , very poor quality and Sainsburys is just around the corner, for god sake make an effort . Coffee pretty poor also, but as i said the food is good and good value. Steak great and short ribs great the fish is good but the is wine nasty.. Atmospheric and nice staff a good local haunt let down by the awful wine.. visit and have steak ,fish or ribs , get a beer or soft drink and you wont be let down. Avoid the wine.. Hello again and thanks for your kind response , i know the problems with commercial wine suppliers and its a challenge. Your probably better popping around to Sainsburys every week and buying wines that you have tried before and like. And avoiding a cold cellar with the reds is a good idea, they will be fine unopened for months kept in the bar area, and at a better temperature when people buy them. I have always enjoyed the food and the steak and pepper sauce i had a few weeks ago was the best thing I have eaten in Crosby all year, The sauce was really fantastic, you could tell it was exactly what it should be. The staff are great , food great. The coffee thing is down to my preference i suppose , I love a dark roast Italian and I am not really a fan of modern fruity coffee that seems to be all the rage at the moment. So I love what your doing and will return, my comments were made with the best possible intentions and I am please Crosby has another good place to eat.. You seem to be doing very well , busy and a good atmosphere... A credit to the area (Next time can i pay corkage and bring my own) Ive revisited and i love what they are doing , the food is the best around, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

The food was excellent and the service was great. I really enjoyed the chicken momos they were very nice. It was a lovely meal and I would recommend to others.

Omg the pistachio cake!!!!!!! It's the best thing on this earth! Go now and get some, run, don't walk!!

Cannot recommend this place enough. A little gem on College Road. Food is really fresh and tasty, we had burgers with loaded fries and a side of delicious fried pickles with tzatziki. The house slaw was also very good and comes with your burger. Staff are friendly and service is excellent. We will be back and telling our friends to not miss Kraftburger when they are in Crosby, it’s great!

Absolutely delicious. We came here on Friday night for my birthday. I would highly recommend coming for a meal here. I had steak for my main and it was cooked exactly how I like it. Lovely restaurant.

Lovely friendly staff, great pizza and beautifully cooked al dente pasta. Spoilt to have such great eateries just around the corner!

Disappointed after my visit last night. The restaurant was freezing cold. I asked the waiter could we move closer to the kitchen so we could get warm. The waiter said we could move and that he would put the beating on. It’s the middle of winter should the heating not have been on. Wasn’t surprised the place was empty who wants to sit in a cold restaurant. Waiter service is pushy. They don’t give you a chance to have a chat after sitting down. Rushing to take your order. Starter was lovely good portion size but the main was very disappointing. Fish was luke warm and didn’t like the texture don’t think it was cooked properly. Never complained just wanted to get out of there to get a warm. Won’t go back again

Had a great meal here, the food and service were top notch and the price was refreshingly reasonable for such a great place.
