The Seafood Kitchen in Sefton

Myself &wife went Christmas Eve,the restaurant was80% full which is a good sign,we decided on scallops,mussels and salmon pate(starters),lobster tagaltell and catch of day(mains),cheeseboard with2xport,everything was first class,the chef has high standards and the service was superb,I can only advise people to try this excellent restaurant ,we will definitely going back in new year,great little place…10/10.

A lovely little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any questions. I got the mussels and they seemed bottomless! Definitely worth the money! The only thing I would comment on is the wait for everything seemed a little bit longer than usual. Food and drinks took a while to come out. Not complaining though because we left happy and full!

Often eat here as it never disappoints - food is consistently high end. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is excellent and menu has new dishes quite regularly. It’s open at lunchtime too! A must for fish and seafood lovers!

Ate here Friday night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Vicky was wonderful as our host and manager. Young girl on a trial shift was obviously nervous. Only issue was the lobster was on small side and probably should have been advertised as being a 1/2 But I’ll be back.

The best seafood Restaurant I came across in Merseyside. It’s so fresh and so delicious and perfectly seasoned. We will come back again next time for sure. Thank you so much.

We went here for the first time a couple of days ago. Really lovely place with amazing, fresh and beautifully cooked seafood and excellent friendly service. Highly recommended.

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of food and the finesse with which it was prepared. Truly beautiful scallops, sweet and delicate amazing squid, so tender it melted in the mouth. crisp stir froed veg and salmon in an exquisite myssel sauce and the most plump delicious mussels outside of France. Gorgeous apple and sultana crumble . Truly wonderful food and i cant wait to come back

Me and my partner are massive seafood lovers. Tried this place for the first time and it didnt disappoint. The service was great, lovely atmosphere and the sharing platter was stunning. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and attentive staff. The mussels were absolutely gorgeous in the Thai curry sauce. Good selection of wines that complemented the food well. Other highlights were the salt and pepper squid and the butter beans. Will return

Came for a midweek treat after having a craving for mussels! We were NOT disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had locally sourced oysters to start and then had mussels with bread and chips. Our daughter had tomato pasta. It was all delicious with decent portions. The mussels were huge and all open so none had to be abandoned. This is a lovely little restaurant that deserves local support. I've waited ages for a seafood restaurant and now it is here. They have had all the challenges of the pandemic and have come through it all - try them asap!

This place just gets better and better it has lots of food deals and veggies and meat options but the main feature is fantastic seafood with specials everyday and deals from £20

This place opened just before the lockdown hit and it was a huge disappointment that we couldn’t go during that time. Great little place with a nice range of seafood as well as a few little bits on the menus for kids who may not be brave enough to try everything else. Unfortunately they don’t do takeaway but they said it’s due to seafood not travelling well so that’s fair enough. Definitely go if you can.

First visit here and everything was perfect. Food quality and quantity so good. Small menu but still plenty of choice. The cod curry had so many flavours on one plate.

Nice restaurant with lovely, friendly server. Food was tasty (although the curried cod loin was a touch over-salted for my taste). The bench seats made for slightly uncomfortable sitting for any length of time. The main downfall we thought was the disappointing wine list. Reasonably priced but quite poor quality wines on offer. Would return for the food though!

Really, really impressed with this place. Food was outstanding and the staff were amazing. Very pleasantly surprised, definitely coming back here.
